"The biggest surprise of our trip to Pingshan was definitely this guesthouse – I have to give it a huge shout-out! It was newly renovated and opened in 2026, so all the facilities are brand new. Our room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless. The location is superb, just a few minutes' drive to Pingshan Grand Canyon, so no need to rush in the morning. My family of four (two adults, two kids) overslept and missed breakfast. The landlady was incredibly warm-hearted and specially cooked a bowl of noodles for each of us. She even thoughtfully drove us directly to the scenic area entrance. It was sweltering hot in the mountains during mid-summer, and we were all drenched in sweat. The landlady then picked us up punctually from the entrance to take us back to the guesthouse. She was on call the entire time, always anticipating our needs and taking care of everything for her guests. The landlady was genuinely friendly and enthusiastic, treating us like family. This trip created so many warm memories because of this guesthouse. I highly recommend it to families traveling with children. Next time we visit Hefeng Pingshan, this will be our top choice! These are my honest feelings, though I did catch 38-degree Celsius weather, which was just too hot!!! I'd suggest coming when the weather is more favorable."

I came to Pingshan Grand Canyon specifically to avoid the peak season. I spent a long time choosing online and finally decided to stay at Pingshui Xiangfeng B&B. As expected, I was not disappointed and the price-performance ratio was very high. The homestay is just a few hundred meters away from the entrance of the scenic area, which is very convenient for catching the first wave of entry into the park in the morning. Although it is called a homestay, its specifications are no less than that of a hotel. There is also an elevator. The disposable supplies are very complete, including toothbrushes, soap, combs, shower caps, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, toilet mats, and disposable face towels! What surprised me the most was the toilet seat, conditioner and disposable face towels. They are so friendly to those who love cleanliness! The boss lady is super nice and enthusiastic. I didn't buy the tickets in advance, but she was able to help me buy the tickets. Anyone who hasn't bought a ticket can ask the boss lady for help. Love her❤️!"

"Come to Pingshan Canyon and highly recommend staying in Banshandu. First of all, the boss and the proprietress are super cute. They waited for us at the door at night. After hearing the price of our chartered car, they helped us contact the car to recommend SF Express, help buy ferry tickets, and pick up and drop off. Across the covered bridge from the Hualong Peninsula snack street, Mr. Zhao's Hefeng Teppanyaki is particularly delicious. "The hotel's location is excellent, right at the entrance to the Pingshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area. The hotel staff helped with buying tickets for the next day and for the boat ride, eliminating the need to queue up early in the morning. This was a great bonus. The private room was two separate rooms and quite spacious, but we had one drawback: the window wouldn't close, leaving us with the sound of insects chirping all night. Also, the showerhead leaked, resulting in very little water reaching us. Otherwise, everything was good. The breakfast included freshly cooked noodles, which were quite delicious. We also had dinner at the hotel, which was convenient and delicious."
