"Finally got to Wudang Mountain for some much-needed relaxation! This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel's ambiance is fantastic, especially the large terrace – the view is breathtaking. On a clear day, seeing the distant mountains and sea of clouds instantly brings a sense of peace. The room itself is designed in a new Chinese style, with thoughtful details, and the bathroom looks very high-quality; it was a really comfortable stay. Beyond the beautiful scenery, the overall experience was top-notch! In the afternoon, there's complimentary Shenshi tea, perfect for sitting down, sipping tea, and chatting – so pleasant. Breakfast was also delicious, with a rich variety of fresh options that left me feeling energized. You can also catch the sunset over at Nanyan Palace. The biggest surprise was the free Tai Chi class! Practicing Tai Chi with the instructor on the terrace in the evening, with the sky above and mountain breeze, was incredibly therapeutic. The instructor was very professional and responsible, correcting postures hand-in-hand and patiently guiding us, so even beginners could quickly pick it up. "The room was tiny and the furniture felt really cheap. What I hated most was the showerhead; I tried adjusting it forever, but no hot water came out. Even after a staff member came to fix it, it still wasn't right, but it was too late to bother further. The mattress was also uncomfortable. Plus, there's an elementary school right behind the room, so it gets noisy super early in the morning, making it impossible to sleep in. The location is downtown, so food delivery is convenient, and it's close to Yuxu Palace, which you can visit in the afternoon."

"The hotel is super close to the scenic spot exit, which was a blessing after a tiring hike down the mountain – I could get back to rest quickly! The shower water pressure was great too. However, there were water stains on the bathroom glass and mirror, and the carpet looked a bit dirty. What was even worse was that when I was packing my luggage the next morning, I found someone else's socks next to the sofa. They were probably left by a previous guest, which shows the cleaning staff aren't very thorough. (I didn't report it to the staff because it was too early and I was rushing to leave.)"

"The only bright spot: the front desk staff were friendly, and the bedding was clean and tidy.
The downsides are numerous and I would not recommend it:
1. The pictures are misleading; there's no private courtyard, just a simple balcony on the second floor.
2. The lighting controls are outdated; the bathroom light can only be switched on and off at the door, which is very inconvenient.
3. The price is ridiculously high; similar accommodations in the area cost 180-300 yuan, while this place charges 450-500 yuan, making it extremely poor value for money.
4. The downstairs bar is noisy with singing late at night, and the poor soundproofing severely affects my sleep.
5. It's right next to a tourist information center; tour guides loudly solicit customers at 7 am, and advertisements are constantly playing through the loudspeaker at 8 am, making it impossible to sleep in.
I paid a high price for extremely poor accommodation; I will never come back."

The front desk staff are meticulous, providing timely tips and quickly resolving any issues.

This homestay is so so comfortable, so clean and new and very nicely and thoughtfully designed, it makes us want to retire in a house just like this! Our hosts are a family, very hospitable, helpful and sweet, they make us feel right at home. The older, strong Uncle insisted on helping us carry our luggage up the mountain as we made our way up to the scenic spot!
We also love their breakfast - fresh, with a decent variety that will hold us over for hours.
This location is as close to the entrance of the bus terminal that will take us up the mountain (no taxis or private cars are allowed up), so if you want to spend time up there, this is a good location.
这家民宿真的非常舒服！房间干净崭新，设计得美观，贴心，让我们都想退休后住进这样的房子里！房东是一家人，非常热情好客、乐于助人又亲切，让我们感觉像在家一样自在。那位健壮的叔叔还坚持帮我们把行李扛上山，一路陪我们走到景区呢.
我们也很享受他们家的早餐——很新鲜，种类足够让我们撑上好几个小时。
这里的位置离上山巴士站入口很近（私家车和出租车不允许上山），如果想在山上多玩会儿，选这里准没错！

Guest UserI loved saying here. The homestay is located within the scenic area. It can be hard to navigate the area if you’re coming here for the first time. I got dropped off at a station after I showed the driver the address and walked uphill for 20-30 minutes before I was able to find the homestay. I recommend getting in touch with the homestay beforehand to arrange a pickup from the bus point since buses don’t drop you all the way to the homestay. There is free service for pick up and drop off to/from the bus station.
The food here was spectacular - simple and delicious. The people who work here are super considerate and welcoming. The homestay also partners with Wudang Taoist Academy which I later found out so I might be back to participate in one of the programs later on however if you are traveling to Wudang and also looking for classes in Tai Chi from well established instructors, this is definitely the place to be. The person who runs it is well-connected and can help you out with whatever you need. I was mostly communicating via WeChat which translated English-Chinese and vice versa easily. If you want to explore other areas within Wudang, you most definitely will be needing the shuttle bus.
I am very satisfied with my stay and will return if I get an opportunity.

is highly recommended. The hotel is located at the Qiongtai Scenic Spot, approximately 300 meters from the base of the cable car and 50 meters from the bus stop, at an altitude of nearly 1000 meters. This is an ideal location for exploring Wudangshan. The staff is exceptionally friendly and very helpful. I was repeatedly and pleasantly surprised by how much everyone cared for a foreigner without any knowledge of Chinese. The hotel's restaurant offers local and Taoist specialties. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is elegant and meditative. The rooms are spacious with fantastic mountain views. I felt very comfortable for a week – nothing was lacking. Bonus: the five cats also take excellent care of the guests, especially during nighttime strolls. Note: you must take the last bus to the cable car (Qiongtai) at 5 pm, otherwise you will remain in the valley (no exceptions).

This hotel/retreat is an incredibly special place, and I feel so grateful to have come across it in my travels, as it will hold a special place in my memory! I have a strong feeling that I will be back (possibly many times!) in the future. I cannot say enough good things about it, whether it be the beautiful architectural design of the buildings and landscaping of the property, the gorgeous cafe, the zen-like room aesthetic, the calm and nourishing atmosphere of the whole place, the incredibly kind staff, and the nourishing and delicious food (which is made with great attention and care paid to the ingredients (most of which are grown on the farm), and their healing principles according to the elements and Chinese medicine nutrition)). There are free evening healing offerings too, including sound healing, card reading, and other thing, which bring guests together to experience collectively as well, in a beautiful retreat center room. The cafe/lobby building is such a pretty and welcoming space, one could easily spend hours enjoying a conversation or reading a book, or petting one of the many adorable cats that roam the property. Even walking along the meandering path to the hotel from the main road is a beautiful experience, winding through tea fields in this magical valley at the base of steep mountains surrounding it. I have stayed at a number of hotels in China during my travels, but this place is by far my favorite of all of them, for its authentic feel and heartfelt warmth. It truly is a uniquely powerful place for healing and restoration, nestled in such a picturesque, quiet hillside of Wudang mountain!!

Just got off the bus, I saw the housekeeper waiting on the side of the road. They smiled and picked up their luggage, and the fatigue of the road was instantly dissipated. Walking along the road for only five minutes, you will arrive at the B&B hidden in the depths of the streets. It is close to Nanyan Palace and Zixuan Palace. There are many restaurants and shops around. You can enter the door and the hustle and bustle will be isolated.
The room was clean and bright, and the design of separation of dry and wet was very intimate. I slept extraordinarily that night, and the mattress was moderately firm and soft, like lying in a cloud.
Love the terrace facing the mountains. All kinds of green plants stretched out in the morning light, sitting at the tea table, holding the tea. The fog slowly rose from the valley, sometimes winding the peaks, sometimes over the forest. Sitting so quietly, watching the mountains and watching the fog, I forgot the time.
Here, the service is silent warmth always appearing in due time when needed, and leaving us with enough quietness. This journey has become different due to this homestay, enjoying the joy of the mountains and rivers, and the warmth of the world.

The owner was very warm and friendly, helping us upgrade our room and providing hiking poles. The hotel's food service seems to be outsourced, but the quality and portion sizes are definitely worth it. Breakfast can be delivered to your room. The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite the bus stop down the mountain. There's a swing terrace at the entrance where you can watch the sunrise. It was my child's first time seeing a sunrise, and we also got to see a sky full of stars, which was wonderful.

Our room was very convienient and comfortable, but the best were the owners. They were friendly, polite and very helpful. As it was our first time in China, we had some difficulties.
They helped us with a good mood to solve various problems. They were very helpful!
The cuisine was excellent, with a variety of Chinese recipes and very high quality.
Overall, for the 16 nights we stayed, people did everything to make us feel comfortable and acclimatized.
We highly recommend Wudang Mountain Yiheju!

The room is simple and cozy, clean and comfortable, with soft bedding that makes you feel relaxed. It's very quiet at night. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the local food is delicious. The hotel front desk helped us plan a very practical travel itinerary, saving us from taking too many unnecessary detours. They even thoughtfully reminded us to bring motion sickness patches and medicine, as the winding roads up Shiwangwan Mountain are particularly challenging for those prone to motion sickness.

The location is good. The hotel parking lot is a one-way street, so those coming from the main road should follow the parking lot signs. There is a square and a museum on the side of the hotel. Those who sleep lightly at night should tell the customer service in advance (there are exercises in the morning and amusement facilities in the evening).
