"Before coming, I heard this was a family-friendly hotel on par with Sanya Atlantis, and after arriving, I feel it's indeed quite good.
First, regarding the hardware, the decor certainly can't compare to Atlantis, but considering it's built in a desert, the overall quality is excellent. I saw reviews before coming saying the rooms were too simple, but if you've experienced hotels in the Sahara Desert, the facilities here are truly impressive. I really like the corridor's decoration, and my child absolutely loved the mini-train.
For dining, the buffet is great. The only minor drawback is that the drinks probably aren't freshly squeezed, and they taste a bit diluted, but you can't compare the fruit here to Hainan.
The room soundproofing isn't great; you can hear the mini-train passing in the hallway. However, looking at their building structure, it's clear that reinforced concrete couldn't be used.
The biggest surprise was the sports area; all the activities were so much fun, and there were no queues. I'm honestly worried they might go out of business!
My child loved the cafe, where they could relax comfortably on various sofas and read.
All in all, the value for money is very high, and it's definitely worth recommending.
Finally, I'd like to thank the front desk lady. I told her I was a Ctrip Diamond member, and although my room wasn't upgraded, I was given a room with a great view. Many thanks for that.
The staff could learn from Club Med to be a bit more enthusiastic and cheerful."

"While driving through Xiangshawan, I stumbled upon this RV campsite. The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the visitor center, making parking and access to the scenic area incredibly convenient without having to drive deep into the desert.
The sunset at dusk bathed the entire desert in a caramel hue, making every photo a masterpiece. The RV interior exceeded my expectations, far from the typical rudimentary camping setup: separate wet and dry bathrooms, 24-hour reliable hot water, powerful air conditioning, and a soft, comfortable bed. Hygiene was impeccable; bedding was changed after each guest, the RV was free of sand and odors, and the bathroom was spotless and dry.
The most stunning part was at night! Away from city light pollution, turning off the RV lights revealed a breathtaking Milky Way sky, the stars so dense they seemed within reach. Sitting under the vast sky, feeling the desert breeze, and listening to the distant camel bells, it was peaceful and soothing, truly living up to its name, ”Starry Night Journey.”
The owner and staff were incredibly attentive, providing clear check-in instructions and promptly delivering drinking water and mosquito repellent. The campsite's common areas had clean washrooms and sand-washing pools, perfect for rinsing off sand after a day of desert adventures – a huge plus!
Compared to the Lotus Hotel and desert tents within the scenic area, this RV campervan is affordable, offering both comfort and a wild adventure, making it ideal for families on road trips, groups of friends, and couples. One small reminder: the desert has a large temperature difference between day and night, so remember to bring a jacket at night and pack mosquito repellent.
I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Xiangshawan. For those wanting to experience the desert starry sky while also seeking convenient and comfortable accommodations, I highly recommend Xingchen Jiexing!"

"We checked in during the morning and the place was really lovely, super clean. For the same price point, this guesthouse's decor is truly excellent! Folks, this should be your top choice. Plus, there's a picking area in the yard with organic fruits, and we weighed some to eat on the road.
There's a small restaurant across the street with food. We didn't get a chance to have breakfast, but the owner said it's a buffet. Their stir-fries are really good, made with their own vegetables – highly recommended!"

"This hotel is located right in Yuesha Island. We went to play in the morning and it was completely empty. The tent material is thick, there are no bugs, and it's very pretty. The hotel opened in 2024. The front desk staff had a very good service attitude. Because Inner Mongolia is relatively dry, they would kindly remind us to drink more water and moisturize. The only problem was that we didn't have breakfast, which we will make up for next time.

Guest UserMy expectation was meh before arriving this accommodation. However, the guys at the reception are very helpful and they also arranged a minibus to pick us up from the tourist centre. As for the conditions of our room, it is unexpectedly clean and tidy and as the sign was pointed out, it is very normal to have dust and sand appear in the room since we are at the desert. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience!

It's an all-inclusive package with three buffet meals, and you get VIP access to the scenic area, skipping the queues. They offer kids' crafts, a swimming pool, and bonfire parties. Right outside, you're in the desert, and the night sky is absolutely stunning. The staff provides excellent service, proactively asking about your needs, which is very thoughtful. For family travel, the value for money is exceptional; my child didn't want to leave!

The shower was small, and the room wasn't big either. I was thinking the cleanliness would be acceptable, but then there was a wet towel left under the sink... To make matters worse, there was a municipal power outage. The room was right next to the stairs, and there was a lot of noise from people carrying luggage downstairs early in the morning. The room wasn't soundproof either. The air conditioner didn't work either. The worst part was that I thought I could at least get some sleep even if it was noisy, but then the power came back on, and the TV automatically turned on again. I turned off the TV, and then the power went out again, then came back on, and the TV turned on again, then went out again. I was completely unable to sleep. Because of the power outage, there was no food for breakfast, and I had to use two candles to keep the other things warm. How could they even charge for breakfast? Breakfast was listed as an extra charge when I booked the room. While the municipal power outage is unavoidable, it definitely affected the experience. I specifically chose a new hotel, and the entrance was hard to find. Three cars behind us all went to the wrong entrance.

A fantastic stay from start to finish! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. What really made the experience special was the host’s kindness and generosity.
The young man went out of his way to drive me to different locations, making it much easier to explore the area. He also cooked delicious food, which was a real highlight of my stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and he was always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help.
His hospitality made me feel right at home, and I truly appreciated all the effort he put into making my visit enjoyable. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
