Zhenjin International Hotel ★★★★★
"Service: The front desk was very helpful; they upgraded my room."
Shengyuan Hotel (Dalate Banner North Country Shopping Plaza Branch) ★★★
"I even pulled back the covers to take a look [smirk]. It's a newly renovated hotel, clean, hygienic, and odor-free. The front desk and staff were very friendly. It's right next to National Highway 210, making transportation very convenient; it's a necessary route to the desert scenic area. There are large shopping malls and supermarkets nearby, as well as a very large park and night market. A great choice; I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next road trip."
Whistling Dune Bay Yuesha Island Camping Hotel ★★★
"I booked this tent because I wanted my child to be able to play in the sand right outside. First, the positives: The room was unexpectedly spacious and clean, with new and tasteful furniture. Even though it's a tent, it felt very stable during windy nights. The room's location was truly excellent. We stayed in room 1019, which was at the very end, with sand dunes right outside our door. Adults could sit at their tent entrance and watch their children dig and slide in the sand – it was very convenient and felt like a real vacation. Although meals aren't provided, there's a BBQ and hotpot restaurant just over a small dune, open from 6-10 pm, which was good enough. However, there were a few minor downsides: There was no hot water at the sink. While I understand that conditions are limited in the desert, it was very uncomfortable to wash hands and face with icy cold water when the temperature was low, especially since my child needed to wash their hands frequently after playing in the sand. I suggest the hotel's vending machines sell some wet wipes. When checking in, I asked the front desk if we needed to wear sand-proof shoe covers on the way to the tent, and the staff said no. This was completely misleading. There were many sections on the way where we had to walk through sand. Without shoe covers, sand definitely got into our shoes by the time we reached the tent. Checking in required purchasing a ticket package for Yuesha Island. We didn't actually use any of the facilities on Yuesha Island. It would have been better if this cost was included in the room rate. Otherwise, if you don't look closely at the booking, you might not notice this fee. Ultimately, the value for money wasn't as good as Fusha. However, being able to play in the sand right outside was my core requirement, so I didn't fuss about the price. Frankly, with these conditions in the desert, I would have been fine paying over a thousand yuan a night. Splitting it into a room fee and a package fee just made the package feel not worth it. Finally, when we returned to the tent at around 9 pm, we found the air conditioner was broken. With temperatures around 5-6 degrees Celsius, and my child having just returned from playing in the sand outside, the need for warmth was immense. We reported the AC issue to the housekeeper. Although they dealt with it immediately, it wasn't resolved until close to 10 or 11 pm. My child took a hot shower before the AC repair person arrived, and we were very nervous while drying him off, fearing he might get sick. After sleeping through the night, it still felt very cold in the tent in the morning. While the tent experience was fun, we really didn't dare to stay a second night. And the fact that the camp didn't offer any form of apology or comfort for the broken AC was disappointing. The next day, it was as if nothing had happened. In Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, something like this would at least warrant a complimentary afternoon tea or something similar. Of course, later, when I slipped and fell at the Lotus Hotel and they also offered no acknowledgment, this incident with the AC seemed less significant in comparison. Perhaps this is just the level of service here. Overall, without the AC issue, I would have given it five stars."
Yunfan Holiday Hotel ★★★
"I specifically chose this hotel for my trip. Its location is fantastic, within walking distance to several unique restaurants. The laundry room on the third floor is a real convenience. I loved the smart thermostat-controlled toilet; it was very comfortable to use. The breakfast menu changed daily, which was a nice touch. Everything was clean, and the service was attentive. Overall, my experience was perfect, making it an excellent choice for accommodation during your travels!"
Jinyi Youxuan Hotel Dalat Banner Government Store ★★★★
"The hotel has a self-service laundry room. There's also a gym. The rooms are very clean. The front desk staff are very welcoming. I'd definitely stay here again!"
Dongda Holiday Hotel ★★★
"It was just okay, nothing memorable."
Vienna Classic Hotel (Dalad Banner Minghe Building) ★★★
"The internet speed was fast, the service was excellent and responsive; when I needed water, it arrived quickly. Check-in at the front desk was fast and the service was very good. The breakfast was also delicious, including Mongolian milk tea, which was very unique and tasty."
GreenTree Hospitality Group - (Gya) ★★★★
"New, clean, and conveniently located with easy parking right outside. Excellent value! Highly recommend staying here when visiting the desert. Our family of four stayed here, and they even provided extra bottled water and toothbrushes for free – very thoughtful!"
Lavande Hotel (Ordos Dalad Banner) ★★★
"Good location, complete hotel facilities, clean rooms, comfortable living. The front desk service is also good, proactive and enthusiastic. The breakfast is also good with a wide variety and high cost performance. This price is really worth it! 👍🏻 I will come again next time."

Fusha Island Resort (Xiangshawan)
"It was a lot of fun, my first time in the desert. Riding camels and swimming felt great! The staff were all smiling and friendly, and the environment was beautiful and very clean."
Fengqi Sands Inn (Kubuqi Desert Tourist Scenic Area)
"We booked the Deluxe Comfort Double Room. Although it was a standard room, the bed was huge, a 1.5-meter bed, which was perfect. The courtyard was quiet and comfortable. We happened to arrive during our stay and there was a barbecue. The Inner Mongolian lamb was indeed delicious, not tough at all. For lunch the next day, we decisively chose the stewed lamb at a small restaurant. It was very tasty; you must try the Inner Mongolian lamb when you visit. I highly recommend this guesthouse!"
Lotus Hotel (Lotus Resort)
"The experience was fantastic! The desert sunset, stargazing, and sunrise were all unique highlights, as was hiking in the desert and hearing the sand sing. The explanations were great and the scenery beautiful. The hotel also offers many activities with excellent food and drink options. My kids loved the two major play islands, Xiansha Island and Yuesha Island."
Whistling Dune Bay Shunsha Resort Island
"Overall, the Shansha Hotel offers a very good experience. The room design is full of sci-fi fantasy, making it particularly suitable for families with children. The staff in the hotel's kids' area are patient and attentive, actively guiding children in their play, which significantly enhances the family-friendly experience. The hotel is a bit on the smaller side with somewhat limited space, but the layout is compact and efficient, making it very convenient to access all functional areas. This actually works out as an advantage when traveling with kids, as you don't have to walk long distances. However, there are three minor drawbacks: 1. The dining quality significantly lags behind that of the Lotus Hotel. I suggest the hotel upgrade its meal standards. Adjusting room rates or dining prices accordingly would be feasible. For guests, the core appeal is the vacation experience, and improved dining would greatly boost overall reputation. 2. While the pool looks impressive, the water temperature is too low. Even with an outdoor temperature of 38℃ on that day, the pool water was still freezing cold, making it impossible to swim. This was a significant disappointment compared to expectations. 3. During my stay, there was a minor issue with room cleaning. Thankfully, the hotel, in coordination with Trip.com, resolved it efficiently and properly. Both the resolution process and the final outcome were very satisfactory. Compared to similar hotels in the Desert region, the Shansha Hotel is generally recommendable. Its unique, futuristic architecture resembles an interstellar island in the desert, making it a top choice for families with children."
Stellar Journey RV Campsite
"The room wasn't very big. We booked in advance so the price was decent. Since it's in the desert near the Xiangshawan scenic area, we didn't expect too much. It was mainly just too small, but it's okay for a short stay."
Shalan Bieyuan Homestay
"Choosing this guesthouse for my desert getaway was a complete success, far exceeding my expectations. The room was impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom facilities were excellent, and the air conditioning was incredibly effective, completely eliminating the desert heat. The butler was incredibly attentive throughout, helping with luggage free of charge, recommending fantastic viewpoints, and even organizing a bonfire and fireworks display. The ingredients were fresh, and the barbecue and local specialties were authentic. Away from the hustle and bustle, with few tourists, you can quietly experience the vastness of the desert, leaving behind the city's hustle and bustle. It's perfect for couples or groups of friends – a safe bet for any desert trip."
ShangJing Hotel
"The bed sheet was dirty and stained, and there was constant noise in the room; I didn't get much rest all night! Very bad."
Nanfeng Yin She Boutique Stay
"It was definitely a stay that exceeded my expectations. First of all, I must praise the service. The front desk lady and auntie were warm and caring, which made the experience very good. The public areas and rooms were clean and fresh, and the breakfast was also rich. I especially recommend the yogurt, which was super delicious~"
Moye Xinghe Desert Hotel
"What a fantastic stay! To find a place like this in the desert – so clean, convenient, and with genuinely friendly and generous staff – it's truly a hidden gem! The hotel front desk sells attraction tickets at a great price, which really enhances the experience. After the scenic area closes, it's essentially like having the whole place to yourself; you can go wherever you want and have the entire desert all to yourself. In the evenings, they even organize trips deeper into the desert to stargaze and take photos! It's also pet-friendly, and my dog absolutely loved playing in the sand! When the water heater broke in the middle of the night, a staff member came right up, fixed it in no time, and even replaced the showerhead with a new one. Their efficiency and service attitude definitely deserve a five-star rating! Highly recommend!"
Kaihong Intercontinental Hotel (Erdos Dalad Banner Dalad Banner Ceramic Square Store)
"This hotel's service is exceptionally poor, and I'm giving it a negative review based on two reasons: 1. They didn't specify the conditions when booking, and then gave you the conditions on site! When I booked on Ctrip, there was no mention of a special offer room, no window, and next to the stairs. When I checked in at around 8 PM, they told me it was a special offer room, no window, and next to the stairs. I'm a light sleeper to begin with, and I'd been traveling with my kids for a few days, so I didn't sleep well at night! 2. The front desk staff was atrocious: Upon check-in, they told me I owed them money and were completely indifferent. When I was leaving this morning, I said there was no water in the room, and asked the front desk to bring a bottle of water for my child on the way. They coldly replied, "No, they didn't have any." I'm sorry, I'm staying at a Hanting Hotel, or a Family Inn. They wouldn't even bother with a bottle of water, would they? Your front desk service is going to go bankrupt sooner or later. It's a stark mismatch with the InterContinental Hotel name you've chosen! Those considering staying here should think twice!"
Shida International Hotel
"Clean and tidy, with warm and friendly service."
Dalad Qi XI AO DU HOTEL
"Going to the desert transfer station, the room and bed are very big, the health is very clean, the service is very good. Because it is a chartered car, I don't know the location is inconvenient, but there are many foods nearby and the price is not expensive."
Ordos Yellow River·Sunshine Hotel (Yinken Park Branch, Dalate Banner)
"The service is ok but people who can speak a little english will more helpful. Breakfast is simple."
Nansha Desert 23 Degrees Sand Homestay
"It's located in the middle of the desert, so while it might have its drawbacks, it's still quite special and quite enjoyable. This isn't a 4- or 5-star hotel. It's comfortable considering its unique location and reasonable price. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience. There's air conditioning, an electric kettle, outlets (of all shapes and sizes), and a bathroom with hot water. Think of it as a kind of desert glamping. After meeting the staff, you'll be taken by pickup truck to your ger nestled in the remote desert."
Dalad Banner Runi Suoyuan Homestay (Xiangsha Petroleum Gas Station)
"I booked this guesthouse during my trip to Ordos. The location was easy to find, the rooms were spacious and clean, the facilities were complete, the host was welcoming, and the surrounding area was convenient for dining and transportation, making my trip very worry-free! The guesthouse environment was refreshing and quiet, with a large space and meticulous cleaning. The host thoughtfully provided information on sightseeing routes, making it a perfect place to stay! The courtyard was beautifully maintained, offering a stunning view, and the rooms were clean and cozy. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it was incredibly relaxing and a top choice for a relaxing vacation. I've already recommended it to my friends!"
Sudele Mongolian Style Hotel
"Overall it is not bad, all aspects are still satisfactory"
