Lotus Hotel (Lotus Resort)
"The hotel's services were great, and we had a lot of fun. We were satisfied with the food, drinks, and entertainment. However, it would be better if the beverage bar had more facilities for children. There were very few play options for younger kids. The playground on the 3rd floor was tiny and dirty, and it was disgusting to see so much hair. The room was super small and uncomfortable to stay in."
Whistling Dune Bay Shunsha Resort Island
"This place is highly recommended! The staff are all very enthusiastic and attentive. The fast pass for attractions is a huge plus, otherwise, you'd be waiting in line for ages! There are also various activities in the evening. Overall, I'd give it a perfect 100 points – it's really great for bringing kids. Xian Sha Island and Yue Sha Island are also fantastic."
Whistling Dune Bay Yuesha Island Camping Hotel
"The room was great and very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The sunsets, stars, and sunrises in the desert were all beautiful, definitely worth a visit. The service was also exceptionally attentive and meticulous; they even drove to bring us things we'd forgotten – thumbs up!"
Fusha Island Resort (Xiangshawan)
"Two incredibly happy days! Every meal was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. The dishes offered a great balance of meat and vegetables, perfect for kids to enjoy a little extra. Plus, there were complimentary drinks available at the front desk, which I happily took advantage of. So much happiness!"
Moye Xinghe Desert Homestay
"Our business trip and field research trip included a two-day stopover in Ordos City. Having already passed the peak season for grassland tourism, we were initially hesitant, as we were accompanied by many foreign experts and worried that our visit, scheduled for mid-to-late October, would prevent us from fully experiencing the charm of Inner Mongolia. We called the business owner beforehand, and he was very helpful, offering advice, checking the weather in advance, and providing travel suggestions. He assured us that although it was the off-season and nearing the end of their business year, they would still operate with professionalism and service. On the day of our arrival, it was rainy, and many desert facilities were closed. However, to allow us to experience the vastness of the desert, at our colleagues' insistence, the owner arranged for us to take an off-road vehicle for a desert tour despite the light rain. The younger members of our group ran and chased each other happily in the desert, their spirits unaffected by the rain. There were sand-fixing sample plots next to the hotel, and the photovoltaic factory was only about 30 kilometers away. We not only learned about the country's desertification control projects and ingenuity but also experienced the vastness of the desert – a truly enriching trip. The restaurant owned by the business owner offered authentic Inner Mongolian service and cuisine. Young women in ethnic costumes introduced us to local customs and welcomed us with music. At night, the owner warmly welcomed us with a campfire to ward off the chill and dampness of the overcast sky – a truly heartwarming gesture. Our foreign friends were deeply moved by the owner's hospitality, praising the warmth, wisdom, and diligence of the Chinese people. The owner also introduced us to the main industries of Ordos. As geographers, ending our research trip in Ordos was definitely the right decision! Thank you to the owner and all the staff for their care. The accommodation had air conditioning and a smart toilet, and it was very close to the Singing Sand Dunes, where we could see adorable camels roaming the desert. As the weather grew colder, we hoped our stay would bring the owner a successful end to the year, and that in the future, their professionalism, enthusiasm, and first-class accommodations would provide more guests with a truly welcoming experience! Thank you for your hard work! (We were so happy that we didn't take any photos of the accommodation, but it was exactly as advertised.)"
Dalat Banner Yiyue Hotel
"The room was clean and tidy, and Xiaodu was smart. The location is quiet, the hotel environment is elegant and you can laundry. There is no need to climb stairs to have an elevator. First choice for business travel."
Jinyi Youxuan Hotel Dalat Banner Government Store
"The two receptionists were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making for a great stay. The only downside was that the laundry dryer wasn't working properly; the clothes were always damp no matter how long you dried them."
Yilisha Resort
"Simply unforgettable! Yilisha Resort is a dream carved right into the desert. You could not ask for a better location at any price; this resort sits in the heart of the magic with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that frame the desert, the nearby attractions, and sunsets so spectacular they feel otherworldly. We spent hours just gazing out, completely mesmerised. Our room was exquisite: spacious, beautifully designed, and crafted to showcase those magical views. Every detail—from the plush bedding to the thoughtful layout—made it hard to even think about leaving. The staff were exceptional, treating us with a warmth and care that felt genuinely heartfelt. Every request was met with a smile, and we never once felt like anything was too much trouble. Breakfast was a delight in its own right, featuring a comforting spread of traditional Chinese dishes that gave us the perfect start to each day. Yilisha isn’t just a place to stay, it’s a memory etched in gold, the kind of experience that lives rent-free in your mind long after you’ve left. China’s natural beauty is breathtaking, but this resort amplifies that grandeur and turns an already incredible landscape into pure magic. If we return to this region, there is no question: we will rebook in a heartbeat."
Shida International Hotel
"Large room with all the required amenities, less a fridge, shower amenities should be inside the shower cubicle and not at the vanity area (floor is polished tiles hence pretty slippery). Free laundry area with detergent provided. Breakfast can be improved; drinks could be provided (at least plain drinking water). Rather sloppy check-in process but not too key in affecting the stay experience. Good pit stop before heading to the desert."

Bondi Hotel (Beiguo New Century Plaza)
"It's newly opened and very clean. It's very close to the scenic area. It also includes breakfast, which is all handmade and fresh. The soy milk is also freshly ground. The service of the ladies at the front desk is very good, and the aunt who makes breakfast is also very good. The breakfast is delicious and healthy. It has a six-star rating and I will choose it again next time I come."
Dalad Qi XI AO DU HOTEL
"The room is very good, clean and hygienic"
Future Main Post Hotel
"Clean and tidy, smart features."
Vienna Classic Hotel (Dalad Banner Minghe Building)
"The location is excellent; you can see a bright, golden building from afar. There are charging stations outside. The rooms are very clean, and the facilities are complete, including a laundry room and a gym. The service is also very attentive; the lovely young ladies at the front desk are always very helpful in resolving issues. The high floor offers beautiful views of the small town of Shangdaqi from the window. It was a very comfortable stay, and it can be considered a benchmark hotel in Shangdaqi, worthy of encouragement! 👍🏻"
Lavande Hotel (Ordos Dalad Banner)
"One of the best hotels i've been in China during my 1 month solo trip. Very clean, quiet, the breakfast was great and abundant and there is a free laundry room with modern washing machines and tumble dryers (i've used them and they worked perfectly). My room was spacious, super clean, the bed was very comfy and there was perfect hot water for a relaxing shower (in my chinese experience not to be taken for granted...). But what made my stay very pleasant was the perfect attitude and professionality of the receptionists WangMengyao and GuoJiamin. They were welcoming, nice and willing to help me. And they effectively helped me with transports and other requests, WangMengyao suggested me a very good restaurant also, i went there for two evenings. I booked this hotel because i wanted to visit the Kubuqi desert and the Xiangshawan tourist area and it was the right choice because it's just 15 minutes away by taxi but it's still in Dalad city, near a street with supermarkets and restaurants, so you're not in the middle of nowhere. Last but not least free tea and coffee (both good) available in the main hall."
Nanfeng Yin She Boutique Stay
"The hostess was quite welcoming, but the price went up to over 500 per night during the May Day holiday, but the service wasn't up to par with the price. The room was very ordinary, and the shower head was broken and sprayed water everywhere, which was quite embarrassing! There was no heating or air conditioning during the May Day holiday, so the room was still a bit cold!"
Hongyuan Hotel
"I found this hotel by accident at first. After reading many people's reviews, I thought it should be good, so I booked three nights with trepidation. After arriving, I found that it is indeed very design-conscious and tasteful. The overall style is warm and gives people a very comfortable feeling. The lady at the front desk was very polite and considerate. When I came by plane, the lady at the front desk asked in advance if I needed to arrange a pick-up. After I arrived, she would also help me contact a taxi when I went out to do business. I will continue to choose this hotel next time I come."
Geya Hotel (Ordos Dalad Banner)
"High cost performance, smart whole house, clean and tidy, good service"
ShangJing Hotel
"A very nice hotel with convenient parking. There's even a self-service car wash in the backyard parking lot. The rooms are newly renovated and all voice-controlled. The self-service breakfast is also very rich. Thumbs up! 👍"
Dalat banner Yunhai Hotel
"The room is large, the facilities are new, the hot water is fast, and the bed is very comfortable. The guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic. However, the bathroom is open for bathing, washing, and toilet. Plastic slippers are provided when taking a bath. However, after bathing, the entire bathroom floor is wet, and there are no cleaning tools to dry the floor. If the family wears disposable slippers at this time, It's very, very, very slippery to get into. . . It is recommended to add a glass bath room later. Moreover, the bathroom is made of frosted glass and the privacy is not good. Even in a family room, the older children have to avoid their mothers and the older girls avoid their fathers. This is very bad. In the past, we stayed at chain hotels in Vienna, which are also comfortable hotels. The Vienna hotel in Daqi was newly opened for 2 months. I couldn’t find the Jinjiang applet and thought it didn’t exist, so I booked the Yunhai hotel, which is also a comfortable hotel. Most of the hotels in Vienna have glass. The bathroom is equipped with floor towels, so there are no such problems."
DalateQi Hongyuan Shengyan Hotel
"Facilities: Complete Hygienic: clean and tidy Environment: Comfortable"
Xingchang Fishing Village, Dalat Banner
"Lotus flowers bloom in the pond in summer, some red, some white. The lotus stems stand upright, the leaves are round, and the stems lie horizontally in the mud; these are called lotus roots. The lotus roots have nodes, holes in the center, and when broken, they reveal fibers. I saw this hotel on Ctrip; the lotus pond attracted me. The hotel's decor was unique, with a classic and elegant style. Upon arrival, I discovered there was a restaurant in the front yard—I definitely had to try their specialties! There was also a fishpond in the yard where you could fish, and a children's play area in the back where you could boat and have fun!"
Ordos Yellow River·Sunshine Hotel (Yinken Park Branch, Dalate Banner)
"I originally went to try out the hotel's card and chess room, but I was completely hooked! The environment was clean and odor-free, the tables and chairs were comfortable, and the equipment was working perfectly – a great place for a small gathering with family and friends. Even more surprisingly, the room had a lovely tea table. After a game, brewing a pot of tea and enjoying the fragrant aroma was incredibly relaxing – such thoughtful details! From leisure and entertainment to tranquil tea tasting, it caters to all my needs in one place, and the service was attentive throughout. Highly recommended for both business trips and casual getaways. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!"
Shatingyi Homestay (Xiangshawan Tourist Area Branch)
"It's great! The owner is very nice and handsome. His stir-fries are absolutely delicious, and he's very kind to guests. I highly recommend staying here. The environment is clean, and the stay is very comfortable. They even take you to play in the sand, which is a lot of fun!"
Dalatqi Sandside Homestay
"I found this little shop by chance. I was a little hesitant after reading the reviews, but since it's close to the scenic area, I decided to give it a try. The road at the entrance is indeed very ordinary, but when I got to the entrance of the courtyard, it was suddenly open, parking was convenient, the courtyard was clean, and the house was also clean. The boss is a very down-to-earth person and doesn't talk much. The family room at the entrance of the scenic area is more than 200 yuan, and the environment is really good. The boss's breakfast is very standard. I happened to see boiled corn and bought two. It was super delicious. The boss grew it himself, so I had to buy some to take away. After all, it's not a hotel. It's enough to solve the problem of food and clothing. There are almost no hotels with this price that include breakfast. If I come here to travel again, I will definitely stay here again. The boss's family can rent sandboards, and there are cute kittens."
