"The Sheraton Qiandao Lake Resort truly holds a prime spot among all the tourist hotels. The lake-view suite I booked offered unbeatable scenery. All the hotel staff were very polite and courteous, and the butler service was also very warm and attentive. My only slight regret is that the hotel feels a bit old, especially the bathroom facilities in the room, which are somewhat outdated. I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs after a renovation."

"What a letdown! 😭 I saw this place promoted on Xiaohongshu, and everyone raved about the beautiful lake views. I decided to visit in September during the off-season, but it was nothing like I imagined. I wanted to leave the same night. Greentown Resort Hotel is actually an apartment building, a mix of private residences and hotel-style apartments, so it's always bustling with people. Buildings 1-6 are clustered together, and Building 1 even has three units. It gets incredibly crowded on weekends and holidays. The breakfast area is shockingly located in the B1 garage. After 8:00 AM, it's packed, with lines extending into the garage – a terrible experience. Plus, there's hardly anything to eat, just eggs and boiled noodles. You can bring pets for an 80 RMB cleaning fee, but there are no other services. There are quite a few restaurants nearby, but their menus and dishes are almost identical. This hotel mostly caters to retirees and families with children. The facilities are subpar. Parents primarily take their kids to the hotel's pool and kids' play area. There's really nothing for young people to do. I don't recommend it."

"My stay this time was absolutely fantastic, definitely a five-star experience! The hotel boasts a superb location, directly facing Qiandao Lake with breathtaking views. The infinity pool is incredibly photogenic; with the lake and distant mountains as a backdrop, every shot turns out beautifully. The lake view from the room was also superb. Selena's service was particularly thoughtful and attentive. She patiently explained all the hotel's facilities during check-in, answered all our questions, and had a gentle yet professional demeanor. She was always proactive in helping us resolve any issues, which was incredibly heartwarming. The overall environment is quiet and pleasant, perfect for a relaxing getaway. It's suitable whether you're traveling with friends or just looking to unwind. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Qiandao Lake!"

"Taking advantage of the tail end of summer vacation, I brought my daughter to Qiandao Lake for a family trip. After comparing several options, I chose this hotel, and our three-day, two-night stay was perfect, truly one of the top parent-child resorts in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area. I genuinely recommend it to all parents traveling with children. The hotel's location is excellent, occupying a central lakeside peninsula of Qiandao Lake. It's surrounded by the lake on three sides, offering expansive views. From the popular photo spots on the 5th and 6th floors, you can directly face the beautiful Qiandao Lake scenery. My only regret was that since we were traveling with friends, our travel dates were set a bit last minute, and we couldn't book two lake-view twin rooms. We had to settle for two landscape-view twin rooms. I want to thank our butler, Ziva, for specifically reserving two of the largest landscape rooms for us. The children had so much space to run around; the rooms were truly super, super spacious. Next time, I might choose a lake-view room for a different experience. The hotel provides a complete set of complimentary child-friendly items: a children's toilet seat, non-slip footstool, baby toiletries, small slippers, and a bed rail. The thoughtful details exceeded our expectations. The room and bathroom were clean, tidy, and odorless, and the toiletries were high-quality – Bulgari bath products, which was a nice touch! The sheets and pillows were soft and breathable. Our butler, Ziva, even thoughtfully mentioned that if the pillows were too soft, harder ones were available, which was very considerate. After a busy day, we slept soundly, and the soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear any noise from the corridor. The most amazing part was the hotel's 3,000-square-meter children's playground. This was the highlight of our trip and our favorite feature. It's incredibly spacious, and both toddlers and older children can find something fun to do. My daughter played in the ocean ball pit with the multi-story giant slide dozens of times and didn't want to leave. The dinosaur sandbox was equipped with a full set of digging tools and was clean and free of debris. There was also a carousel, a princess dress-up area, and a building block craft area where little girls could try on various princess dresses for photos. The playground is staffed by dedicated supervisors, provides free non-slip socks upon entry, and has clean restrooms and water dispensers inside, allowing parents to relax and unwind. In addition to the indoor playground, there were mini go-karts and a VR arcade on the basement level, which older children also enjoyed. On the first floor, there was also a screening room and an arcade, where I managed to win quite a few dolls for my daughter. The hotel also has large outdoor water activities and an indoor heated pool. Unfortunately, my daughter had a bit of an upset stomach before we left, so we couldn't experience them, which was a shame. Every evening at 7:30 and 8:30, there were two 88-meter-long water screen movies. The lights combined with the lake created an incredible atmosphere, and my daughter watched mesmerized. The only downside was that it was quite sweaty outdoors in the summer heat, but the good news was there were no mosquitoes. Dining was equally delightful. The hotel's buffet breakfast offered a rich variety, with a dedicated children's area featuring steamed dim sum, yogurt, cartoon-shaped pastries, and fresh squeezed juices. The ingredients were fresh, and the restaurant staff were attentive, proactively bringing baby utensils. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel's buffet Western restaurant; the dishes were fresh, complete, and the quality was top-notch. The hotel also provided discount vouchers for the buffet dinner, which saved us a good amount. It happened to be Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine's Day) on the night we had dinner, and the hotel even gave us themed heart-shaped cakes, which was a very lovely gesture. The entire hotel staff provided warm and thoughtful service. From the front desk check-in to the cleaning staff and the playground attendants, everyone was exceptionally patient with children. They proactively gave children small gifts during check-in, greeted my daughter whenever they saw her, and never pushed any sales, maintaining just the right balance in their service. Food delivery from outside was also convenient; orders could be picked up from a designated spot in the lobby on the first floor or delivered to the room by a robot. Additionally, the hotel offered a complimentary travel photography session. The emerging travel photographers were excellent, preserving precious memories of our trip. They also offered a reasonable discount on the digital negatives when we selected our photos, which we appreciated. This trip to Qiandao Lake with my daughter, thanks to Minghao Hotel, eliminated all the usual exhaustion of traveling with children. The huge children's playground, two pools, prime lake views, thoughtful child-friendly amenities, and meticulous, warm service were all top-notch. The value for money far exceeded other resorts in the same price range. Whether for a short weekend getaway with kids or a multi-day family vacation, it's perfectly suited. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Qiandao Lake, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone! Finally, I want to thank butler Ziva again for her attentive answers before check-in and her enthusiastic and thoughtful service during our stay. The emotional value she provided throughout made me feel exceptionally welcomed and respected. I truly look forward to seeing her again on my next stay!"

"Atour's quality is consistently excellent, and their breakfast seems to follow a standard across all their hotels. The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of the central lake area, with picturesque views from the window. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Qiandao Lake. "Our recent family trip to Qiandao Lake, staying at the Holiday Inn Qiandao Lake, far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend it for families with children! We booked two rooms, a family room and a king room, for two nights. The package included tickets to the Minghao International Hotel Water Park and playground, which made visiting them very convenient. Before checking in, we added our butler, 'Mei Yangyang,' on WeChat. We communicated online throughout our stay, and she was always quick to respond to any questions. Traveling with a baby, we contacted our butler, and she quickly arranged for a baby cot. They also thoughtfully provided an extra children's breakfast. Since our two rooms were on different floors, the butler specially activated cross-floor access for us, making it easy to go between rooms. The hotel's breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the hotel swimming pool was also available for use. Around 11 PM one night, we had a bathroom light fixture malfunction. We contacted the butler late at night, and she promptly came to fix the issue. The service was truly exceptional. Both the facilities and the butler service were very satisfying. The next time we visit Qiandao Lake, this hotel will be our top choice, and I highly recommend it to any friends vacationing in Qiandao Lake!"

"The hotel's location is indeed quite remote, 50 km from the high-speed train station. It's really only suitable for guests who plan to stay within the resort and not venture out. I had great experiences with other Club Meds before, so I visited the Nanjing and Qiandao Lake ones during the summer. I came to this one with tempered expectations, knowing it wouldn't be as good as the traditional villages. However, it's even worse than the Xianlin Club Med in Nanjing. The service is the absolute worst; no one was enthusiastic or welcoming. The buffet was unappetizing, and the 'Yi Bar' drinks were also bad. I truly regret booking an all-inclusive package – it was not worth it! It should just be treated as a regular hotel. If you're not going to participate in Club Med's extensive activities and interact with the G.O.s, there's no point in coming to such a remote Club Med! There are plenty of 5-star hotels in towns. I booked two rooms and specifically requested them to be adjacent to my parents' room, but they ended up being several doors apart, which was fine. However, one room wasn't ready until 4 PM, and then at checkout, they wouldn't even allow one room a late checkout, claiming it was fully booked. It was a Monday, what 'fully booked' are they talking about? I think it's more likely that there weren't enough housekeeping staff, so they couldn't get things ready in time! The room's cleanliness was mediocre, and there were flies at the buffet. Breakfast items were also refilled very slowly. Most importantly, the evening activities were very lackluster. The G.O.s showed no enthusiasm, there was no atmosphere; they just seemed to be going through the motions. There wasn't even a participation show for the children. Overall, I'm very disappointed with this Qiandao Lake Club Med. It's terrible. I didn't experience the Club Med hotel culture or philosophy at all. I do not recommend staying here."

"We stayed for two days with our one-year-old. The room was quite spacious, and the vanity area was large enough to double as a temporary changing station for diapers. The pool area was very clean, with three outdoor pools. One was extremely shallow, perfect for toddlers – our one-year-old could sit down and the water would reach their belly. There was also a heated circular pool and several other small hot springs, which were very comfortable. However, they closed at 6 PM, which felt a bit early. Next door is the Duck Paradise, which wasn't very engaging for a one-year-old, but would be great for older kids to burn off energy. Breakfast was plentiful, with options even our little one enjoyed, and baby tableware was provided. The hotel also has a kids' play area. It’s not as big or with as many facilities as places like Sun Park, but it's perfectly adequate for an occasional session in the ball pit and stays open until 9 PM. The gym was also quite good, with all the basic equipment. Driving out for meals wasn't too far either. The service was excellent, with staff members readily available to help with any issues. Anna and Wendy handled our check-in and check-out smoothly, and were always available to assist with anything we needed. On the downside, the hotel doesn't have a laundry room with a dryer, which was inconvenient for drying swimsuits after a dip. Also, the parking lot lacks EV charging stations. We had to drive about a kilometer away to charge our electric car, and even then, those spots were often occupied by non-charging vehicles, forcing us to drive even further out, which was quite inconvenient."

"Facilities: Standard budget hotel. The room is a bit small, especially for a family room with a curved ceiling. It's difficult to even open a suitcase. The bathroom is only suitable for slim people; otherwise, getting in and out is difficult. Cleanliness: Pretty good. Environment: Okay. Location is okay, but parking is limited; you might have to use the public parking lot outside, although there are staff to guide you there. Service: Okay."

"I stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Qiandao Lake again, and as always, it was a pleasant experience. The room was clean and tidy with a well-designed layout. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were gentle and patient. The hotel environment is quiet, and it's very convenient to get to the lake attractions. The breakfast selection is rich and varied. Overall, it offers great value for money, making it an excellent choice for a trip to Qiandao Lake!"
