"I'd originally booked a few days, but a change in plans immediately after I arrived at the hotel meant I'd have to leave the next morning. When I informed the hotel, the staff were super friendly, supportive and very accommodating. Booking in had been easy, too, and throughout my stay, language was no barrier at all. The next morning, the staff helped me get a taxi to the train station. I'd have loved to stay a few days because--besides the greats ervice--the room was a top notch value. A very sleep-friendly bed, a beautifully designed bath and sink corridor, and a separate shower (if I'd needed it), plus comfortable chairs and a useful desk. In short--a really good room, and at a great price. No question at all: if I'm ever fortunate enough to return to Anyang. I'll be staying here."

"The location is excellent, right next to the exit. You can see the big sign as soon as you get off the train. The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff, especially the ladies, were very warm and attentive, answering all our questions. "I specifically requested a quiet room upon check-in, but they gave me a workroom located further inside. I asked the staff last night, and they said there wouldn't be frequent coming and going. The workroom door needs fixing; it's creaking loudly. This morning, the staff were chatting animatedly, and the clattering of washing utensils was unbearable. I opened the door and stared at them for a long time, but they didn't seem to notice. Don't you have any service awareness?"

"Before my trip to Anyang, I looked at many hotels online and finally settled on the Anyang Xiying Hotel (Wanda Plaza). After checking in, I was really impressed. For any trip, good food, accommodation, and transport are essential for an enjoyable experience, and the Xiying Hotel is excellent for its price range. First off, the location is great, making it super convenient to get around. It's not far from attractions like the Chinese Character Museum, Anyang Museum, Wenfeng Tower, and Yuan Lin.
Secondly, the hotel lobby is elegant, grand, and beautiful. All the front desk staff, both male and female, are very pleasing to the eye. Check-in was quick, professional, and our requests were handled patiently (we mentioned having had hip surgery last year, and they arranged a room right by the elevator for us). The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the dining area was clean and comfortable.
The room itself was clean and cozy, highly automated, and all the facilities were complete and worked well. The room was meticulously cleaned, the bed was large with soft, comfortable bedding, and the soundproofing was also good. The toiletries in the bathroom were of a decent standard, and the shower had strong water pressure. The only minor downside was that the shower water temperature wasn't as hot on the last two days as it was on the first two.
The high-speed rail transfer driver was excellent; he proactively helped with luggage, drove smoothly, and was very accommodating to our needs while still adhering to traffic rules. Choosing the Xiying Hotel for this Anyang trip truly made us feel at home. It was a wonderful experience."

"I stayed for two nights, and the overall experience was pretty good. The location is excellent, with all sorts of delicious food right outside – I tried 'Hulatang' (spicy soup), 'Biancaifen' (noodle dish), hot pot, 'Xuehualao' (shaved ice dessert), and more. Next door is Wangjie Food Street, which is very lively. It's about a 10-minute walk to the Chinese Character Museum, so I could spend the morning there, head back to the hotel for a rest, and then visit the Anyang Museum, Beidajie, and Cangxiangjie in the afternoon, which are a bit further out. The hotel lobby has cards introducing Anyang's attractions, and the scent of coffee fills the air, making it feel very welcoming."

KKaikaizhangWe booked this guesthouse on Trip.com in advance for our self-driving trip to the Taihang Grand Canyon during the Spring Festival. The overall experience was warm and hassle-free. The owner provides butler-style service, proactively calling to confirm our needs before our arrival and even coming to the parking lot to help with our luggage after we got there. The service was thoughtful and attentive.
The guesthouse is located on the north side of Linzhou Taihang Grand Canyon, only 5 kilometers from the scenic area, making it very convenient for self-driving. There's a public parking lot about 1 kilometer south that supports EV charging, which is very friendly for self-driving tourists.
I stayed in a lake-view king room, which came with a huge scenic balcony offering an expansive view directly facing the beautiful Taihang mountain scenery. The views in the morning and evening were particularly therapeutic. The only minor drawback was that the indoor space was a bit compact, and the bathroom layout was similar to an RV design – fully functional but a bit cramped.
The dining experience was a big plus. Breakfast could be delivered directly to the room, with a rich variety of fresh ingredients that tasted simple yet delicious. The guesthouse also offers lunch and dinner, with authentic local flavors and good value for money.
What delighted my child the most was a gentle and friendly dog living at the guesthouse, which added a lot of fun to our trip. Overall, it's a cozy guesthouse very suitable for family road trips and getting closer to nature.

The hotel staff were friendly, the air conditioning and heating in the room were moderate, and I slept well, so I won the PB in the race! Haha!
