Guest UserSister Yingzi is very hospitable, sincere and comfortable with others. This time I was traveling with my parents and brother during the National Day. The room I booked was spacious enough to live in, and the facilities were new and clean. The pictures and texts of many B&Bs I have stayed in before are very inconsistent. Sister Yingzi's place is better than the pictures and expectations. Every corner is cleaned well and considered very thoughtfully.
The location of the small courtyard is very good. It is right on the road, which is also suitable for friends who drive by themselves. The local driver recommended by Sister Yingzi was also very helpful. Due to a time arrangement error that day, we almost missed the high-speed train. Sister Yingzi helped us deal with it in a timely manner.
The decoration of the villa is also very tasteful. The courtyard is also very clean and comfortable. I stayed with my mother for a while in the evening and it was very pleasant. I just forgot to take pictures. My mother said she liked it very much. Unfortunately, the schedule was tight and I couldn't stay a few more days. Next time I will stay here again when I come to Anshun.
The bean and rice hotpot and breakfast shop recommended by Sister Yingzi are both delicious, and I particularly like the taste. This is the first time I write such a long review, because it is worth it. I wish Sister Yingzi’s B&B will get better and better 👍 I recommend everyone to stay here! !

Anonymous UserThis internet-famous guesthouse truly lives up to its reputation, with a total of 24 rooms. The biggest drawback is the number of stairs and the lack of an elevator, but everything else is excellent!
Location: It's situated next to the Balinghe Bridge in Guanling, about a 15-20 minute drive from the main Huangguoshu scenic area.
Ambiance: It's a popular guesthouse located in a small, charming village. The air is filled with the scent of mugwort. The 4th-floor observation deck is perfect for watching both sunsets and sunrises. You'll hear roosters crowing in the morning.
Facilities: Be prepared to climb stairs, as the highest floor is the 4th. There is a dedicated luggage elevator for your bags. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the air conditioning is powerful but a bit noisy (earplugs are provided by the hotel). There's a self-service laundry room with two washing machines and two dryers, along with laundry pods.
Service: The butler-style service is prompt and friendly. I really appreciated the small farewell gift upon check-out.
Cleanliness: Very good.
Restaurant: They offer a buffet breakfast, à la carte lunch, and dinner requires advance ordering and reservation, with a notification when it's ready. The cocktails at the bar are excellent.

Guest UserI rarely write reviews, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The owner provided excellent service. Since it was the off-season and there were vacant rooms, the owner generously upgraded our room and even offered free shuttle service to and from the scenic area, which saved us a lot of hassle. Each room also comes with a washing machine, which was quite unexpected. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that the light switches in the room were a bit confusing, and the toilet flush was so strong it caused some splashing. I hope the hotel continues its great work and dedicated management.

Guest UserYaojia Waterfall Village Hotel is located right inside the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. The hotel's main entrance is about 150 meters to the right of the sightseeing bus's 'Grand Waterfall Station'. From the 'Grand Waterfall Station', you can catch sightseeing buses to all attractions and the main scenic area entrance, making getting around extremely convenient. For photography enthusiasts, if you wake up early and turn left out of the main entrance, walking along the pedestrian path will lead you to a viewing platform opposite the Grand Waterfall, often called 'God's perspective,' where you can wait for the sunrise. The hotel offers 24-hour 'butler service,' so you can voice any concerns in the butler group chat. The rooms are elegantly designed and fully equipped with amenities. Afternoon tea is delivered to your room, and the self-service breakfast offers a rich variety. We had a distinctive and memorable 'sour soup fish' for dinner. If you're driving, you can ask the butler to register your license plate with the scenic area, allowing your car to enter the scenic area and park in the hotel's parking lot. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

XiaoduiqingshanThis hotel is excellent! It's very close to the attractions, and the service is great. It's a new hotel with good facilities. I specifically chose this one because it's right next to the scenic area and they offer a VIP shuttle service to the Huangguoshu Falls entrance, which is super convenient. All the staff members are very friendly. The front desk attendant who checked us in was lovely, and especially on the day of check-out, we needed to get to the First Tourist Center. We had used the VIP shuttle service on previous days, but when I called to request it for check-out, the car wasn't dispatched. I'm not sure why it worked fine the two days before but not on the last day. I explained the situation to the front desk, and a young man there, after understanding our predicament, immediately consulted with his supervisor and arranged for the hotel's own car to take us to the First Tourist Center (since I was traveling with my parents and it would have been difficult with luggage). I particularly want to thank the staff member named Tian Di; his attitude was excellent, and he was able to help us solve an unexpected problem, showing great initiative. Both hardware and software are crucial for a good hotel, and Manxin Mansion is fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance!

The hotel is 2-3 kilometers away from the high-speed railway station, and the transportation is convenient. The road to the hotel is under construction. The hotel looks luxurious. There are many people in the lobby, which may be a large group. The front desk service is very friendly, the room is large and clean. I booked a room without breakfast, and the front desk also upgraded my room for free and gave me breakfast. The breakfast has rich varieties and the children like it very much.

XiubolianExtremely satisfied, it was a fantastic stay!
Booking a good hotel in Guizhou during the summer is incredibly difficult. So, finding an international chain like Sheraton, even if it's just a Four Points, in a town like Huangguoshu was reassuring and delightful. It was precisely because we needed to book the Shuiliandong (Water Curtain Cave) at Huangguoshu Scenic Area in advance that we were able to reserve a room at the Sheraton two weeks prior. Closer to the check-in date, rooms at the Sheraton were impossible to get. So, my advice is, if you see an empty room during peak season, book it immediately without hesitation, or you'll miss out.
After several days of wandering around Southeast Guizhou, staying in Miao village B&Bs and large hotels in county towns, suddenly checking into a Four Points brought an overwhelming sense of happiness.
At the hotel's back entrance facing the parking lot, a male employee saw me park and immediately came over to unload all my large suitcases and backpack from the trunk and bring them to the front desk. The service was impeccable, but unfortunately, I didn't see his name tag. Ms. Sila Song at the front desk provided enthusiastic service and upgraded me to a room with a scenic balcony. My thanks and praise to her.
The quality of the Sheraton brand is consistently excellent. Although the property size is limited, the resort boasts complete water features, gardens, ambiance, lobby fragrance, public facilities, and children's entertainment.
The corridors and rooms are bright and clean, with exquisite decor and thoughtful design. The furniture and sofas in this Four Points are incredibly tasteful. The bathroom is spotless, and the shower area is spacious and comfortable. They even had the 1986 version of Journey to the West playing on the TV, which allowed the kids to 'preview' the big waterfall and Water Curtain Cave before heading to Huangguoshu. (I wonder if all hotels in Huangguoshu offer this.)
For dinner, we enjoyed delicious sour soup beef at the hotel restaurant. True to an international chain, 'mildly spicy' truly meant mildly spicy, so even those who can't handle much spice and foreign guests can enjoy it without worry. After a long day of travel, drinking two pots of sour soup was not only appetizing but also therapeutic. The day before in Xingyi, I was brought to tears by so-called 'mildly spicy' beef hotpot and had to ask for a clear broth instead.
The hotel breakfast, well, it was Four Points level – not as extensive as a full Sheraton, but the variety was sufficient. The balcony had a retractable drying rack, which was a nice touch. Each room was provided with six bottles of water, and you could ask for more, which was very generous.
Drawbacks or regrets:
The 'wall' of the shower stall was a bit too transparent. We had to use the 'dim' light setting when showering; if we chose the 'bright' mode, our children in the bedroom could see our silhouettes...
Next time I come to Huangguoshu, I will definitely prioritize staying here, but it's so hard to book...

Guest UserThis hotel is not far from Huangguoshu Scenic Area. The overall facilities are well-maintained, and the service attitude is good. The dedicated concierge was responsive. The breakfast was simple but filling. However, the shuttle service was a bit lacking. Since the hotel usually only has one vehicle for round trips between the hotel, the scenic area, and station transfers, the shuttle duties are quite heavy. Therefore, it's even more crucial to arrange the transfer order logically, especially for station drop-offs.
On the morning of my second day, I had a reservation for Shuilian Cave from 8 am to 10 am, so I pre-booked the shuttle to the scenic area. But when I went down to get in the car, the front desk told me there were guests who needed to be dropped off at the station, and asked me to wait a moment, which I agreed to.
On the morning of the third day, I had to catch a 10 am bus to Xijiang, so I specifically booked the shuttle for 8:20 am the night before. The concierge also confirmed my reservation. At 8:10 am on the third day, I contacted the front desk, and they replied that the driver was currently dropping off guests and would call me when he returned. At 8:15 am, we went downstairs early. The front desk then told me that there was a family ahead of me who hadn't booked but wanted to go to the scenic area, and because they were waiting earlier than me, I would have to wait. I informed them that I had booked the 8:20 am shuttle last night. The front desk acknowledged this but said they couldn't turn away guests who showed up. At this point, the problem was already evident. The hotel's website clearly states that shuttle service requires a two-hour advance reservation. Given this, shouldn't booked reservations be prioritized? The front desk then said that our two families could fit in one car and asked if we could go together, which I agreed to. However, because we were going in different directions, the other family clearly had no intention of letting us ride with them. The driver actually returned past 8:40 am. As soon as the car arrived, that family immediately rushed in and took the front seats. We had luggage, and the elderly person had difficulty walking, so it was impossible for us. The driver knew we were in a hurry to get to the station and tried to negotiate with them to let him drop us off first, but they refused to get out. At this point, the manager came out. After understanding the situation, he found another driver who finally took us to the station. He dropped us off at the Huangguoshu Tourist Center, and we arrived at the station around 9:50 am. We rushed over anxiously, only to be told we needed to go to another station to catch the bus. All this rushing left the elderly person exhausted. I had originally planned to arrive almost two hours early precisely because the elderly person had difficulty walking and I needed to factor in luggage and security checks, but I almost missed my bus due to the shuttle issue.
I have two suggestions:
1. Since your website clearly states that shuttle service requires a two-hour advance reservation, this rule must be followed. You can prioritize booked guests and then have unbooked guests wait in line for the next available shuttle.
2. The front desk should allocate reservation times reasonably based on the round-trip duration of the vehicle, instead of telling guests the car is still en route when their reservation time arrives.

Raghunath C G NairShengfeng Hotel was our first stop in Anshun City and marked the beginning of our 10-day journey through the truly amazing Guizhou Province. From check-in to check-out, our experience was consistently pleasant, and we stayed at the hotel for three comfortable nights. We are especially grateful to Xiao Wang at the front desk, whose engaging personality, accommodating attitude, and exemplary service quality made a genuine difference to our stay. His professionalism and warmth set the tone right from the start.
The hotel’s location was ideal for our needs. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, well-equipped with all essential amenities, and exceptionally good value for the very reasonable price. Despite being centrally located, the room was quiet and peaceful, allowing us to enjoy restful sleep every night. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of options that catered well to different tastes and provided a great start to each day.
This hotel is particularly well suited for overseas travellers, as its location offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the city and experience everyday life like a local. In addition to visiting the nearby Gufu Street night market, with its tempting array of culinary delights, we also explored the morning market close to the hotel. There, we interacted with street vendors who were friendly, welcoming, and happy to engage. We were genuinely touched by the warmth and openness of the people of Anshun. Speaking some Mandarin certainly helped us connect more meaningfully with the locals and enriched the experience even further.
This Hotel also served as an excellent base for visiting some truly incredible attractions, including the majestic Huangguoshu Waterfall, the historic Tunpu medieval army garrison, and the world-famous, record-breaking Huajiang Bridge. Each excursion was easily accessible and added to the overall convenience of staying here.
Will we stay at this hotel again on our next visit to Anshun? Absolutely, without hesitation. Our sincere thanks once again to Xiao Wang for making our stay so memorable.

Guest UserThe hotel's facilities and equipment are very good, and the sanitation is also very good. I stayed for three nights and the aunt knocked on the door every day and cleaned the environment very well. It is right next to Xintiandi Snack Street. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and the check-in process was easy. It is very convenient and the small furnishings in the room are also very beautiful. It is worth recommending.
