This internet-famous guesthouse truly lives up to its reputation, with a total of 24 rooms. The biggest drawback is the number of stairs and the lack of an elevator, but everything else is excellent! Location: It's situated next to the Balinghe Bridge in Guanling, about a 15-20 minute drive from the main Huangguoshu scenic area. Ambiance: It's a popular guesthouse located in a small, charming village. The air is filled with the scent of mugwort. The 4th-floor observation deck is perfect for watching both sunsets and sunrises. You'll hear roosters crowing in the morning. Facilities: Be prepared to climb stairs, as the highest floor is the 4th. There is a dedicated luggage elevator for your bags. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the air conditioning is powerful but a bit noisy (earplugs are provided by the hotel). There's a self-service laundry room with two washing machines and two dryers, along with laundry pods. Service: The butler-style service is prompt and friendly. I really appreciated the small farewell gift upon check-out. Cleanliness: Very good. Restaurant: They offer a buffet breakfast, à la carte lunch, and dinner requires advance ordering and reservation, with a notification when it's ready. The cocktails at the bar are excellent.

Yaojia Waterfall Village Hotel is located right inside the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. The hotel's main entrance is about 150 meters to the right of the sightseeing bus's 'Grand Waterfall Station'. From the 'Grand Waterfall Station', you can catch sightseeing buses to all attractions and the main scenic area entrance, making getting around extremely convenient. For photography enthusiasts, if you wake up early and turn left out of the main entrance, walking along the pedestrian path will lead you to a viewing platform opposite the Grand Waterfall, often called 'God's perspective,' where you can wait for the sunrise. The hotel offers 24-hour 'butler service,' so you can voice any concerns in the butler group chat. The rooms are elegantly designed and fully equipped with amenities. Afternoon tea is delivered to your room, and the self-service breakfast offers a rich variety. We had a distinctive and memorable 'sour soup fish' for dinner. If you're driving, you can ask the butler to register your license plate with the scenic area, allowing your car to enter the scenic area and park in the hotel's parking lot. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Kaiyuan Mingdu lives up to its reputation as a big-brand hotel chain; the quality is truly guaranteed! It's incredibly close to Huangguoshu Scenic Area, just a 5-minute taxi ride, making getting around super convenient. Upon arrival, they thoughtfully upgraded our room for free. The room was comfortable, and the view was excellent. Traveling with kids means more needs, and the hotel staff were incredibly responsive to every request, providing bed rails and footstools, which made our family stay very reassuring. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, with dishes adjusted daily, and the taste was spot on. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Huangguoshu!

The hotel's location is excellent; turn left outside, and you can catch a tourist bus to various scenic routes. The hotel itself is quite good, with a well-equipped gym and laundry room, and the breakfast is also decent. Five-star praise goes to the hotel's operations manager! We met him when our child was playing in the pool, and he gave us many great tips on how to explore the Big Waterfall and other fun and tasty spots nearby. We followed his advice: in the morning, we went to Tianxingqiao, then did the 'Little Yellow Duck' rafting. Around 4 PM, we visited the Big Waterfall and walked through the Water Curtain Cave. At the exit, we tried Gongding tea. Because rafting took up some time, we had to skip Doupotang, saving it for a night tour next time. Finally, at Visitor Center No. 2, we used our package ticket for the 'Fly Over Huangguoshu' experience. It was a perfect day, and we're very grateful for the suggestions!

This is one of the larger chain hotels located near Huangguoshu Waterfall. **Location:** It's about 1.5km from the Tourist Center. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the Tourist Center every hour on the hour; you can book in advance at the front desk. The hotel is situated on a large uphill slope, with no restaurants or supermarkets nearby. You'll need to eat at the Tourist Center before returning to the hotel. **Breakfast:** It's decent, nothing special. Seating can be very tight when tour groups are present. We had a sour soup hotpot for dinner one night; it was expensive compared to local prices, and the taste was just average. **Pros:** The rooms are quite spacious, the mattress is very comfortable, and the hygiene is good. **Cons:** The hotel does not differentiate between smoking and non-smoking floors. There was a lingering cigarette smell in our room, and for several consecutive nights, there was a smoke smell in the hallway that seeped into our room through the door crack. The trash cans near the elevators always had cigarette butts, which I was very dissatisfied with. There's a lapse in management and a lack of attention to managing smokers; they just tolerate it, using the excuse that they cannot interfere with guests smoking in their rooms. There was noise from vehicles on the street audible in the room, and the air conditioning units and water pumps on the roof of a nearby annex building were also noisy. Additionally, there's a fire station nearby, so you'll hear morning exercises and shouting slogans early in the morning.

Although the hotel is a bit old, all its facilities are well-maintained, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel's customer service is very responsive. The best part, however, is its incredibly prime location. At 7:00 AM, it only takes 7 minutes to get directly from the hotel's VIP通道 (VIP access) to the Shuiliandong (Water Curtain Cave) face-recognition area. Essentially, apart from hotel guests, the large crowds haven't arrived yet, so the experience is fantastic. After visiting Shuiliandong and the Grand Waterfall, you can take the escalator straight back up to the hotel, have breakfast, rest a bit, and then continue to your next destination. The hotel also offers a 'God's-eye view' panoramic observation deck of the Grand Waterfall, just a 15-minute walk away. You can choose to go in the morning when there are no crowds to enjoy the view. Overall, the sightseeing experience is very relaxed. I stayed for two nights, and both times I chose to see the sights and take photos in the morning when there were hardly any people. Around 5 PM, I used the VIP access to walk down to the Grand Waterfall, strolled to the viewing platform, and even saw a rainbow. By then, the number of tourists had significantly reduced, making for another excellent experience.

The room was upgraded and it is very spacious with a high cost performance ratio! The key point is that the B&B is located in the scenic area. There is also a free shuttle bus to the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area, so you can avoid the surging crowds during the May Day holiday by traveling in the morning and evening. In addition to its good location, the B&B is also beautiful, clean and comfortable, with considerate and in-place service. There is also a small ball pool and a slide in the room for children to play. It is a first-class experience to travel with children~ Five-star praise!

Fantastic hotel situated in an incredibly well-preserved Ming dynasty village. Our hosts were very accommodating and the room was fantastic - very clean and a comfortable bed! There are many things to see here, including a Buddhist temple of 500 years one of the mountains the town in nestled beneath. Far different from the new old towns we saw in Lijiang and shangri-la, this village is the real deal and just unbelievable to walk through and explore. We also enjoyed walking down to the nearby town outside the gates. The Karst mountains in this area are extremely dramatic and beautiful to behold. There is a speciality coffee shop and a place to get breakfast near the gate - we suspect that we were visiting outside of peak time as it was generally quiet but that suited us just fine. The host made us wonton and dumpling soup in a vegetable broth which was very nice. The hosts are very kind and they have prepared a wonderful place from which to explore this very special village. It is about a 40 minute taxi from Anshun West station and 20-30 minute taxi into Anshun city. Thank you!

Service: The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the shuttle driver was very attentive. It's very close to the scenic area. The driver told us about safety precautions, and we also asked him about discounts for overnight tickets. Huangguoshu Scenic Area Shuttle Service: The car was very clean, and the staff were very friendly; just let us know in advance.

I called the hotel to arrange a pick-up for two elderly relatives. Even though their regular driver was off, the owner managed to find a car to bring them to the hotel. My relatives were very pleased with the room I booked for them; they even sent me a video showing the nice view from the window. They also mentioned the room was spacious and clean.
