"A truly special stay — raw, beautiful, and full of character From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Vincent, the manager, had arranged for a staff member to meet us at the Post Office. From there, we walked the famous donkey path down to the hotel — and honestly, it was one of the most memorable parts of the trip. Stunning views, donkeys along the way — it’s Santorini. If you expect a completely flat walk, you’re in the wrong place. And that’s not the hotel’s problem. I’ve seen reviews complaining about the stairs, calling it dirty or difficult. Having experienced it myself, I can tell you: it’s nothing. A little walk, a little effort — perfectly fine. If someone can’t manage that, they probably shouldn’t be visiting Santorini in the first place. And the hotel already arranged for staff to carry our luggage both ways — so the hard part was handled. The hotel isn’t trying to be some fake luxury resort. It’s authentic, raw, and full of soul. The location is simply the MOST stunning spot in the area — unbeatable for photos and views. We were incredibly fortunate to be given a room with an indoor hot tub. If you’re visiting Santorini in the winter or early spring, this is incredibly important — it’s cold and windy outside to stay long. I searched for a long time and realized there aren’t many places here with an indoor hot tub. The water was exceptionally clean which made all the difference. Deep, warm, and absolutely relaxing on those cooler March days. The room was also well-equipped with everything we needed — toiletries, coffee machine, water, all provided. Visiting Greece this time of year is actually fantastic. Streets are quiet, no crowds. The views are just as stunning, and you don’t have to deal with extreme heat. Of course, the weather is a bit of a gamble — sometimes it rains — but there are always moments of sunshine. And the best part? It’s not as expensive as in the summer. A place like this is an absolute steal. Breakfast was generous, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared with Greet and American to choose from — a great start to each day. If you’re looking for a place with real character, soul, and the most beautiful setting in Oia — this is it. The team was warm and attentive. Genuinely grateful for our stay. Thanks Old Castle Oia!"

"Absolutely superb! ! ! First of all, the hotel environment is particularly good! During the day and evening, the feeling is different. The room is very comfortable. The swimming pool downstairs is also very special. The design sense~ breakfast can be chosen one day in advance and then sent to your room~ the younger sister of the younger brother Especially enthusiastic! Very friendly to you! Absolutely great! And go to oia to walk for 20 minutes. The opposite bus stop is very convenient!"

"Fuimos de viaje en pareja y nos alojamos 2 días en una habitación con pileta propia y vista a la caldera. La ubicación del complejo, la vista, la comodidad y el buen gusto de la habitación, todo es increíble. No se puede pedir más. Es increíble la belleza natural de donde está ubicado el hotel y lo bien que se aprovecha esa maravillosa naturaleza desde la habitación. El Restaurant del hotel es muy rico, todo lo que preparan tiene muy buen sabor. Fuimos muy bien atendidos por Rafaela, nuestra host, al igual que la persona que atiende el Restaurant que fue muy amable y servicial. El único punto que pongo en duda es la relación precio/prestacion. Pagamos usd 1300 aprox x noche por una habitación con pileta propia. Lo vale? Claramente es difícil ponerle precio a la vista y lo espectacular del lugar, pero en mi opinión, si un hotel cobra semejante monto la noche, el servicio que tiene que brindar es excepcional y en este caso hay muchos detalles que no están a la altura de semejante precio. Fuera de eso, súper recomendable."

"Indeed lives up to its name - Athina Luxury Suites! Room was very cleaned and neat and it’s strategic location enables you to have a magnificent view of the caldera. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Only downside was some minor water leakage from bathroom. Breakfast choice was wonderful and loved the concept of having at your own room/balcony."

"This place is a steal. Spacious rooms, excellent service, wonderful facilities and great vibes in general. However, it is misleading to say that it is near Fira. It is physically near, true, but it is impossible to walk. It is an uphill hike with a lot of cars sharing the same path with countless sharp bends. Not advisable at all. It is also quite a distance to the beach. Otherwise, this is an excellent place to stay if you are renting a car. Had a great time there."

"The rooms are great. Each room has its own large heated bath. There is a swimming pool in the public area. The scenery is great. You can enjoy a different scenery at sunset. Although it was cloudy when I stayed, you can see that the sky is very blue. If there are no clouds, it will be very blue. It's beautiful, the price is right, and the service attitude of the lady at the front desk is great. When you check in, you will be given a breakfast sheet to choose what to eat for breakfast, and it will be delivered to your door at the agreed time. The service is great. I will stay here next time."

"Great suites in imerovigli Santorini. The view is unbeliveble, the breakfast excellent, the rooms are beautiful and very clean. The staff of the hotel is very kind and helped us in different situations (We had problem with the Quad during the night and they arrange a taxi to take us to the hotel). I suggest this structure if you’re planning to visit Santorini"
