"The hotel service was excellent. They not only upgraded our room but also added us on WeChat to recommend fun and delicious places to visit. Our room was by the Xin'an River, offering a river view. In the evenings, we saw elderly women dancing in the square below. The hotel's soundproofing was excellent; with the balcony sliding doors closed, we couldn't hear a thing, and I slept very well. They even gave us a complimentary gift upon check-out. I highly recommend the Wenlan Hotel when visiting Jiande."

"I highly recommend this place for vacationđŸ–ïž First of all, you have to like a relaxing, peaceful, and sparsely populated vacation. If you like it, come here. This time I went to Hangzhou, I avoided crowded attractions throughout the trip. Drive a self-driving tour and find any place you want to go on the map. The place I recommend today is 1.5 hours drive from downtown Hangzhou. This homestay is amazing. There is a parking lot at the door, which is super convenient. The homestay is very large, a single-family house, and has front and back yards. The front yard is used for relaxation, drinking tea, and lawns. There are flowers and plants in the backyard, butterflies flying around, and you can walk directly out to the ancient town, but outsiders will not disturb the homestay guests. The service is really in place. After checking in, there will be a WeChat group to introduce you to nearby attractions and food. So thoughtful! ! The homestay is a single-family house with a swimming pool. The interior is super clean, not inferior to the quality of the hotel. Disinfectant tissues are also placed next to the electric toilet, which is very considerate. The hotel's disposable items are also quite exquisite. I took away the beautiful soap without using it, hehe😁 When I went there, it was 657 per night, with afternoon tea and souvenirs."

"Traveling with my family, the hotel facilities were great, especially the outdoor pool which I imagine would be lovely in the summer. Overall, it was clean, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. We even got a room upgrade! The hotel breakfast was plentiful, with options like tofu buns and meat buns. The location is excellent; the hotel and its surroundings have a charming, antique architectural design. The Meicheng Market Street is just a short walk away, which was super convenient. It’s a perfect hotel for exploring the local area."

"The hotel is beautiful, and the room's floor-to-ceiling windows facing the sun provide excellent natural light. You can sit by the window and enjoy the sun around noon. Ordering takeout is also very convenient, as a robot can deliver it directly to your room. On the day we checked in, the sun was lovely, and we wanted to stroll by the river. The front desk staff patiently and carefully helped us with directions. It's very easy to get from the hotel to the river; you can go directly via the underground parking garage. It was a very satisfying stay."

"Traveling with family, I booked one standard room and one king room, on different floors. Both were originally balcony rooms, but the front desk said they upgraded us. However, the standard room was changed to one without a balcony, only adding a bathtub, and it was still on a different floor. I felt it wasn't worth the change. The king room with a balcony had a great view, where you could see the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake. The hotel breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Our butler, Zhang, was also very enthusiastic and responsive to our needs. I would recommend this hotel to my friends!"

"We chose this hotel primarily for its promise of a secluded, nature-connected experience and its on-site hot springs—a perfect antidote to busy city life. The room was warm, cozy, and wonderfully quiet. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable, ensuring great sleep. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The best feature was the house's layout—separated from others, it felt private, secluded, and truly integrated with the natural surroundings. It was the peaceful haven we needed. The hotel territory is vast and beautifully maintained, perfect for calming walks. The dining experience was excellent: the food was tasty, presented in a clean environment, and offered a satisfying variety. Unfortunately, the main attraction became a source of stress. The culture of quiet, therapeutic relaxation expected at a hot spring was completely absent. The most visitors were behaving like they are in a public swimming pool, with yelling and kids jumping, splashing, and running around. This chaotic atmosphere made it impossible to relax or enjoy the springs' intended benefits. It felt like a disaster for anyone seeking the tranquil, restorative experience hot springs are known for. Despite the hot springs issue, our overall stay was very nice, thanks to the superb room, excellent food, and beautiful grounds. The core product—the accommodation—is outstanding. I will definitely return, but I will plan my visit for a much less busy period (perhaps weekdays or off-holidays). If you are seeking solitude and quiet, I highly recommend the rooms but advise cautious timing for the hot springs. This place has all the ingredients for a perfect retreat; you just need to find the right moment to enjoy them fully."

"On the way to Huangshan, I accidentally discovered this treasure B&B in Jiande. We were traveling at the wrong peak, so the mountains were quiet and there were few people on that day. The B&B is very stylish, simple and wabi-sabi, and independent from the world. There are many paintings and calligraphy by contemporary famous artists in the gallery, and I feel vaguely that the owner is a distinguished person. The balcony of the room is super large, with a panoramic view of the nearby mountains and distant mountains. When you are in a daze, even breathing is a pleasure. Unfortunately, it was rainy in the evening and I couldn’t see the sunset😭. Maybe it was full of negative oxygen ions and slept very soundly that night. The most commendable thing is that the service is also very good. The beautiful proprietress has good tea to share, the aunt is simple and warm, and the dishes are organic and fresh. "The traffic jams during the National Day holiday were so severe that we drove until 8:00 PM and decided to stay in Jiande for the night before leaving early the next morning. The hotel is very new, with excellent facilities and comfortable bedding, and I slept very well. The service was excellent, and the front desk staff gave us a wonderful gift: a Dun Dun kettle, a mini portable thermos, and a cute panda night light. Breakfast was also included, even though the room didn't originally include it. We left at 6:30 AM the next day, and we were able to pack our breakfast. When we checked it out, we saw it was quite generous. I'll definitely choose Wyndham again if I have the chance to travel to Jiande."
