"Each lodge is very spacious with a nice, high ceiling, all in bare wood and containing all the essentials: A nice kettle, a good fridge (silent), a TV set, and also a sofa. The ensuite bathroom, shower and toilet is clean and very nice. There are mosquito screens on the windows and the outside areas are nicely landscaped. The restaurant area is a joy, really lovely. Uninterrupted views of the sea and the beach, which is a 3 minute walk away, through the extensive grounds.
I was especially pleased to be picked up and dropped off at the airport and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were no language issues at all.
Given all factors, I do not hesitate to give 5/5 stars, however, I am extremely particular about food, and the restaurant suffers from the the common issue of re-using the frying oil ad infinitum. Overall, food quality was ”OK”, but not great. However, the exceptional location, and all other aspects of the accommodation, mean that one can still enjoy a perfect beer in a perfect location and not care too much about the cuisine."
