The hotel is very overpriced for an old facility.  We booked an oceanview room but the windows are blocked with bars and can barely be opened.  Our room on the second floor could barely see the ocean.  Furniture and decoration scream OLD.   Most front desk workers are not Japanese.  They claim to have an ”international crew” but the problem is they don't know much about Japan.  When we asked the doorman about taking trains, he didn't have a crew because he just got to Japan from another Asian country.  On the other hand, the restaurants only have Japanese workers and no one speaks English.  We booked an 8-course dinner.  The chef was going around to explain the dishes to guests but just left us when he found out we don't speak Japanese.  The menu is in Japanese only.   This hotel also charged us at 135:1 foreign exchange rate while all other hotels charged 142-144:1 JPY-USD.  It's not a foreigner friendly hotel and way overpriced for what it is.

It was good to have a large room with an ocean view and a relaxing room. However, it was very conspicuous that the manners of the public bath users were too bad. Even though there is a ban on the use of tattoos at the entrance, a child who has a tattoos is used, a child who starts a swimming tournament at a hot spring, and a mother who doesn't pay attention to it. We do not recommend using the hot springs around 21:00 after meals. Since there is no key in the shoe locker, I was in trouble because there was no slippers in the building where I put them when I returned. I felt that I would like you to improve the tattoo notes, such as locking the shoe locker.

The information provided by the trip platform was wrong. I originally booked a room with a private style. When I checked-in, I was told that we didn’t book this room. It was said that the platform was wrong. Because the hotel is remote, there is no restaurant nearby. The convenience store is more than ten kilometers away. If you don't like his private style, I believe you will not consider this hotel. The hotel itself is no problem, it should be that the platform information of the trip is wrong, the picture does not match, disappointed.

The view from the bath was great. The breakfast was also substantial and delicious. Compared to other luxury inns, it is reasonably priced, but the service and facilities were satisfactory enough to make me wonder how low the score on Google Maps was. I would like to stay again if I have another chance.

Kintetsu Toba Station has an exit that is specially used for pick-up from various hotels. It is very convenient. There were several Chinese-speaking waiters in the hotel, the communication was smooth, the Japanese waiters were very enthusiastic, and I also helped print the ticket reservations I needed. Children like Japanese-style rooms, can see the sea view, dinner is a set of meals, different prices, things are different. The location of the room in Ctrip is relatively poor.

Although it was deep in the mountains, there was a bus from the station so it was easy to access. Because it's on top of a mountain, the views are amazing and you can see beautiful sunsets and sunrises!

銀鱗是一家神奇的料理民宿。一直在糾結要不要把他的評價寫出來。怕引來後面太多覌光客，現在只有日本客人。基本沒有國外觀光客。這家名宿聽名字也知道是一個以料理為主的民宿。房間是很傳統的日式，民宿只有七間房間。設備雖然不新，但是都很乾凈。榻榻米上的床墊特別好睡，被子也很暖。民宿裏面可以泡湯，也有一個户外的泡湯池， 房間裏面也有浴缸可以泡澡。各隨所需，民宿包早餐跟晚餐（酒水不含）。我們住了兩晚餐點基本不重複。每一餐都有驚喜。先不説口味很不錯，那個食材的新鮮程度，就足以囊括所有的美味。特別是他的佃燒鯛魚魚頭。那調味真是一絕，好吃的不得了，生魚片，碳烤貝殼螺類，小龍蝦，鮑魚，味道之鮮美，配上冰啤酒，或者是而今的清酒🍶，簡直就是過癮的痛風餐，真的是一大享受。吃完了去泡個湯。泡完回房間，床墊也鋪好了。可以美美的睡上一覺。老闆娘，81歲。是個有熱情的老闆娘，一頭銀髮。還願意很熱心的跟客人溝通。老闆娘不會英語，所以可以使用比手畫腳，來跟老闆娘説話，挺有意思，銀鱗的美食，銀鱗的老闆娘，服務員們，都值得大家去認識一下，接受他們的服務，有人情味的😊
