Hot Springs Hotels in Tanabe

Beyond imagination, it was so much fun, truly perfect for summer! My kids loved digging for hot springs by the river, and for the first time, they actually enjoyed soaking in them. It's a shame we didn't bring swimsuits and floats, otherwise, we could have had a water fight! Dinner was also good; although the variety wasn't huge, there was enough to eat. The service was excellent, and the hotel was very clean. The only minor complaint is that the dryer didn't quite get clothes completely dry even after half an hour, so I wasn't entirely satisfied with the dryer.

The room was lovely, with a Japanese style. I booked this guesthouse for two nights because I was planning to hike the Kumano Kodo Chuhero route. The owner was very welcoming and attentive. The guesthouse had onsen facilities and offered restaurant reservations, but I was too tired to eat after the hike. There was a bus stop right outside the guesthouse, making it convenient to go to Chikaro-oji, Kyogawa, and Oguchi.

From the Kumano Kodo, walk to Hatshinmon Prince and take a bus to the hotel. The ride takes about 40 minutes. Remember to check the bus timetable before hiking. The last bus down the mountain is at 4:30. The room size is very good, and the price is not expensive for a room with two meals. There is a single bathing pool, but the water temperature is not very hot. The location of the hotel is quite remote. Remember to book dinner and breakfast. There is no place to eat around except the large bathing area. You can book a free bus to Hongu Taisha or Fashinmon Prince on the next day.

On the Kumano Kodo (Kumano Kodo Trail), near the Kawayu stop, the onsen hotel I chose is right across from a natural river bath. The hotel offers free shovels so you can dig your own bath in the river. I recommend bringing a swimsuit. The hotel also has its own indoor and outdoor public onsen. I booked a room that included the outdoor bath. Staying only one night might be a bit too much. I booked a one-night, two-meal package. Without meals in the mountains, you'd probably only be able to eat instant noodles. The Kumano beef served here was excellent. There's also a dedicated bus stop at the entrance with direct buses to Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine and Shingu.

The service is very good. Every night, the front desk brother and us discuss the hiking itinerary. In order to let us have breakfast, we will do our best to design the car plan and send us to the nearest station to catch the bus. The meal was also delicious, and it solved the aftereffects of eating Japanese food after eating in other hotels. Even the Japanese breakfast was hot, the hot spring porridge was delicious, and the dinner was delicious. In order to choose a Western breakfast on foot, it was also delicious. The room is Japanese style and the mountain view is outside the window. The hot spring is really good. It is correct to live for 6 days and three days. It should be lived for 6 days. After hiking, I soaked a few times. The whole body was sore and the shoulders were much better. The facilities are old and still easy to use. In short, I can't bear half a bad evaluation.
