"Aside from a minor hiccup before check-in, I was completely satisfied from the moment I checked in until my departure; it exceeded my expectations. Before check-in, Ctrip emailed me that the hotel would send me the check-in code in advance. However, on the day of our hike, we still hadn't received any email. I also emailed the hotel in advance, but couldn't get through. Tip: Don't worry, and there's no need to call ahead. There's a check-in box at the entrance. There's a small room with instructions for self-check-in. You can use the iPad inside to call Teams directly. It turned out that even calling ahead didn't explain it. After checking in, the room was fully equipped, with a dining room, living room, and small garden. Breakfast and dinner were stocked in the refrigerator, and there was a washing machine, dryer, oven, microwave, and coffee maker—everything was available. It completely relieved the fatigue of the first day's hike. I was very happy!"

The food is not luxurious, but it is still quite traditional and authentic Japanese home-cooked food."

"The food was decent, the set meals were plentiful, and I recommend trying the family-run hot spring bath – it's free for guests and offers spaciousness and privacy. The open-air public hot spring is also clean and comfortable, but it's a bit inconvenient as you have to walk about 20 meters to get to the hot spring area, which isn't inside the hotel. Everything else is fine; the hotel is old, but the cleanliness is acceptable."

The wooden onsen is not very big but nice and hot and has a big picture window looking out on trees. Good hearty locally sourced food, very filling unlike some other multi course Japanese meals. Very friendly staff who seem genuinely happy when you try greeting them in in however much Japanese you've learned."

"Located in the middle of an apartment building, it feels a bit like a small Hong Kong apartment building. There's only a waiter at check-in; otherwise, it's semi-self-service. It's close to the train station, and across from the bar street, you can hear drunk Japanese people arguing late at night. The century-old dim sum restaurant across the street is also quite good."

"The hotel is right next to the ancient road. You can see it when you come out of the mountain. It is very convenient. The self-service check-in is also smooth. Just read the instructions carefully. When you enter the room, breakfast and dinner are already in the room. Dinner is packed in a lunch box🍱 There are quite a lot of food varieties, but they are a little cold. Breakfast is 4 kinds of bread + coffee, and the drinks in the small refrigerator are free. It is very convenient to have a washing machine and a dryer. I washed all the clothes that were soaked by climbing the mountain."
