Hot Springs Hotels in Fukushima City

This getaway was exactly what I wanted. Traditional, immersive, comfortable, accomodating. The staff came and greeted us in the car park, the dinner and breakfast was amazing, delicious, adventurous. And the onsen on the roof was perfect! The staff thoroughly explained their processes. I spoke some japanese and they spoke only some english but they were very accomating with us and welcoming. I would highly recommend and its also not far from town either. It snowed a little the night we stayed and it was so magical! We had our own private onsen at our room but the others in the ryokan are even better and available to be private, just lock door when your using.

As a hot spring lover, Iizaka Onsen has no choice but to go! So, honestly, I want to keep the price of the inn down. Therefore, every time I narrowed down the lowest price inn in the annual Trip.com, I found a very tasteful inn. Although it is the lowest price, it is close to the station and the view from the room is good. In the first place, the hot springs, restaurants, and historic buildings that become tourist attractions around Iizaka Onsen are just within walking distance, so it's just a good compactness, so not only people traveling alone, but also I think it's a perfect place for couples and family travelers.

The hotel is stunning, super cozy, and feels very exclusive since there aren't many rooms. The common area with the fireplace is everything. Free drinks, warm fire—I could literally chill there all day. Huge room, and the futons are surprisingly comfy. We did the half-board (breakfast & dinner) and it was seriously delicious. The staffs are super friendly and helpful, 10/10 service. The public Onsen baths are gorgeous and so relaxing—perfect for melting away muscle pain. Honestly, the Private Onsens (especially the outdoor ones) are a bit basic. No toilets or amenities out there, so don't be worry if you can't snag a booking; the main baths are better anyway! One Heads-up: This is a legit sulfur onsen town. The smell is strong and literally stuck to my car seats for days. 😂 Bring some air freshener!

The first time I went to Japan after the epidemic, the first stop was the Fukushima rice version hot spring. There were few people, the environment was first-class, and the soup experience was perfect. Because the exterior wall of the hotel is under maintenance, the store is afraid that customers can't find it. When the tram arrives, they will have a special person waiting at the intersection, which is very good.

I went to Iizaka Onsen for the first time, but the hot water was the best! The open-air bath was also pleasant. The dishes were not good or not, and the lineup of sake was not good. Also, I wanted sake to be drunk from one go. (Not 300 small bottles)

Service is excellent! The staff is very friendly and helpful. He can speak a bit of English. Room is huge and clean with a private toilet and a kitchen area with a microwave. Surrounding area is very quiet and scenary is very beautiful. Got free parking. Onsen is fantastic too. We can use the onsen one more time even though we have checked out at 10am. Got free coffee. Overall, recommended if you visit Tsuchiyu, Fukushima.
