A classic old-school modern hotel with ryokan-type service. The room is huge and has excellent views of the river. On a good day, it should be possible to see Mount Fuji as well. There is also big onsen area with an outdoor bath area.
Dinner is served on the ground floor restaurant and it was a delicious multicourse meal which includes really good wagyu steak with wasabi shoyuzuke. Dessert also includes the region's famed grapes. Breakfast was served buffet style with selection of Japanese and western items.
I drove to the hotel with a rental car. It is not too far from a station on a local line but I recommend driving around to explore instead. The patrons to the hotel also seemed more local.

We really enjoyed our stay with our 5 year old
It was a treat to stay in a traditional hotel with Yukata and sleeping on Tatami beds.
The food was absolutely amazing and very delicately prepared. Luckily, we had our own private open air bath, otherwise it was extremely difficult to book any reservations for the onsen and private baths.
By the time we checked in, everything was pretty much fun
Our kid loved the cute kid's amenities kit, feeding the carp and walking through the garden.
Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

1366842****The name of the hotel is Bada not Hada. The hotel is located in the riverside. Some rooms can be seen in the Mt. Fuji. The traditional Japanese hot spring hotel is divided into the south and north, the main building, the 1st and 7th floors, there is a bathing place, but the bathtub in the room is also a good choice. Breakfast is very ordinary, don't walk to the nearest convenience store, it takes about ten minutes.

HuiTraditional Japanese-style hotel, warm and comfortable, warm service, dinner and breakfast are very delicious, bring parents and children to Japan for 9 days, this hotel is the most distinctive and humane, our whole family likes it very much, the price is reasonable, and the experience is very good (But this is not a big city, there is no subway, it is more suitable for people who drive or charter cars to come), I will definitely come again next time! Thank you for the kind Japanese grandma who took special care of us!

Guest UserThe temperature of the hot spring in the large public bath was not too hot and was just right for a comfortable bath. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of stewed dishes and was delicious.

Jolly
Convenient to drive to, plenty of parking spaces, the service is all Japanese, very warm, polite and reliable, unlike new hotels where there are foreign workers affecting the experience
The hotel is old but well maintained. The area is larger than expected. There is a Japanese garden for taking photos. The food is good and tastes better than expected. There is a cherry blossom street near the Ishiwa Onsen Street.

Guest UserIn general, Shifeng Hotel is a well-prepared hot spring hotel, and it has all the configurations that hot springs should have, whether it is hot springs, hot spring meals or Japanese-style rooms. The hot spring meal is still not disappointing, whether it is breakfast or dinner, it is very rich. And the types of hot springs are also very rich, so it is very comfortable. The souvenir shop in the hotel is also reasonably priced. You can buy souvenirs about Mount Fuji and Ishiwa Hot Springs for about 400 yen. There are many koi in the Japanese-style courtyard. In addition, according to our observation, there is a black swan and a turtle. The hotel will provide food to feed the koi when checking in. The disadvantage is that it is a certain distance away from Shihe Hot Spring Station. Of course, most hot spring hotels have to walk for a while. It is very good as a place to take a vacation, and it is a little more convenient if you can speak Japanese!
