"We came for Euro 2024. Hotel is basic but comfortable. Be aware that it is next to busy road and the noise insulation is poor (at least in our room). We were woken by sirens every morning. The hotel is in a good location for Gelsenkerchen and Dortmund with easy transport links. It is also just a short walk to the main train station. Essen seemed quite rough from what we saw but there is a venue that has Pool and Bowling near to the hotel which I would recommend."

"I stayed here for one night in mid-July. The hotel looks brand new. The room was small, but extremely clean and well-maintained. The neighborhood is quiet with a massive park directly across the street. It is a five-minute walk from the nearest Ubahn and bus stops. Even though it is not right next to the station, it was very convenient. The Limbecker Platz shopping center is attached to the Ubahn entrance. It was a great place to grocery shop and get our meals. Everything was very convenient. When I encountered an issue with my reservation, I called the hotel and spoke with Alina, who helped me resolve my issue immediately. She and the rest of the staff were very patient and kind and my partner and I had a wonderful stay."

"Very good hotel! Rooms are large, clean, ordened and modern, the same applies to the bathroom. Breakfast is very good. Person at breakfast is very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of parking (but 15,-/day) - it is not well painted: not driving to the small small parking place, which is painted, but just over at the main entrance, then then comes behind the real big parking place."

"Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful, and so is the hotel. We received a very warm welcome and had large rooms, which were just a little dated. But it was spotlessly clean, and we slept wonderfully. We had plans to meet someone else for dinner, but later we ended up staying at the bar. The service was fantastic, and the drinks selection was excellent. Breakfast was ample and good. I would gladly stay here again."
