Garner Hotel ESSEN - HANDELSHOF by IHG ★★★★
"Top hotel 👌"
Trip Inn Hotel & Suites Essen ★★★★
"Spacious room, clean except under the bed, comfortable The hotel does not have parking, you must arrange your own car, although it is written at the time of booking that there is a parking"
Garner Hotel ESSEN - MESSE by IHG ★★★
"A very pleasant hotel with excellent value for money. We were especially pleased with the bed. The rooms, hallway, and restaurant are modern and attractively decorated. Delicious breakfast! The entrance is a bit dated, and the elevators are old, but they work."
Hotel Ambassador Essen ★★★
"Catastrophe!!!!! Over 30 degrees in the room, a temperature that's already a health risk, and the hotel couldn't care less!!!! The worst experience we've ever had!!!"
Ramada by Wyndham Essen ★★★★
"Amazing experience"
Sheraton Essen Hotel ★★★★
"Overall, we were satisfied. Unfortunately, the bar was lacking in the evenings. Nevertheless, we would come back."
Premier Inn Essen City Centre ★★★
"Hotel close the main train station and the city center with just a few minutes to walk. It was surprisingly quiet here. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is very good and you can something for every taste."

Premier Inn Essen City
"The room huge and located in the city ."
Schlosshotel Hugenpoet
"We had ordered breakfast for our birthday party of 4 people. But we were served ONE breakfast (a tiered stand with small individual appetizers, one of each type) and we were told that we could order more if that wasn't enough. This meant that every item on the tiered stand automatically became a polite gesture because no one wanted to eat the others' food. Despite our doubts being expressed several times, we stayed that way. We were actually billed for 4 breakfasts at EUR 36.00 each. The mood was completely ruined, and many people still consider "ordering more" to be inappropriate. This is exactly how they make money here. If I pay for four breakfasts, I want to get four breakfasts."
Residence Inn Essen City
"Everything is really great and clean, only if it is possible the breakfast for vegans is a little more."
B&B HOTEL Essen-City
"Avoid this hotel. They engage in mismanagement, deception, and unfair trade practices. At busy times, they overbook their hotel and if there are not enough spontaneous cancellations, they start calling off guests themselves. In doing so, they cancel the guests with the cheapest rate first, not the guests who booked first. I was in town for a business trip and I heard five days before departure that my room was cancelled, even though I had booked a full year before. At that time, all other hotels were also fully booked. I tried everything, but they did not listen and pushed their way. Their offered ‘alternative’ was 25 km away and due to the late hours I have to do, not a serious alternative. They got me into quite a mess but they don't care about their customers. Money is all that matters. Don't go here!"
Hotel am Brinkerplatz
"This hotel is very nice and well maintained. The facilities are not fashionable but very practical. Everything is spacious and very friendly service. Parking in garage around the corner with discount card of the hotel. Breakfast buffet is thick in order."
Flowers Hotel Essen
"So cute"
FOUR Essen City Centre
"Everything was good"
Mintrops Land Hotel Burgaltendorf
"Great Hotel, great restaurant. The waiter really makes every evening special, an excellent host. Nice rooms, dog friendly, great for children. A lot of room to play around or to play in the pool..The staff goes beyond what you may expect to give you a great time. We will be back for a third time real soon:)"
Webers Hotel im Ruhrturm Essen by Accor
"Super good location very close by the city centre. Staff speaks English and is really cool. Thanks a lot. :)"
Mintrops Concierge Hotel
"All right, I'd like to go back."
Motel One Essen
DORMERO Hotel Essen
"Good attention and good breakfast too. A little bit old in my opinion but would go again if possible. Soft bed and pillows . Lucky to have a refrigerator. Did not the bathroom, kind of old and dark. Internet was fine. Stairs on corridor made difficult to go with a heavy luggage ."
Hotel Friends Essen Zeche Zollverein
"This has to be one of the coolest hotels I've ever been in. First, the location. The hotel is actually IN the famous Zollverein historic coal and coke complex. So just check in, park your car in their dedicated lot and then just wander. It takes hours and hours to make a proper visit to the Zollverein. Secondly, because the owners (a private party who owns just two other hotels in Germany) has gone of his or her way to carry through on the theme of the colliery. There are all kinds of interesting pictures and artifacts that go back to the days when the complex was operating. Third, the staff. Talk about a friendly bunch! The two ladies on the front desk are especially accommodating and both speak excellent English. They exemplify the name of the hotel where they work. Terrific. The rooms are also full of character, and again, follow through on a theme. So, to sum up, if you don't absolutely have to be in a hotel in Essen City Center, the Hotel Friends would be a wonderful choice."
Mintrops Stadt Hotel Margarethenhöhe
"Everything was very good, except it was extremely loud at breakfast; I would have liked more privacy."
Hotel Franz
"Very good hotel! Rooms are large, clean, ordened and modern, the same applies to the bathroom. Breakfast is very good. Person at breakfast is very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of parking (but 15,-/day) - it is not well painted: not driving to the small small parking place, which is painted, but just over at the main entrance, then then comes behind the real big parking place."
Hotel Bredeney
"The environment is nice and quiet, with brand new facilities. The staff's English is pretty good."
