"The biggest advantages of this hotel are its convenience and sense of security. The location is truly excellent, very close to the jetty for island hopping tours in the morning – you can just walk there, no need for a taxi. Downstairs, there are plenty of options for food, shopping, and coffee, including 7-Eleven and various restaurants, so you don't have to walk far when you return at night. When traveling with family, we prioritize safety and hygiene, and this hotel met our expectations very well. The accommodation areas inside the hotel are quiet, and the management is well-regulated. Both the rooms and public areas are very clean. There's always someone at the front desk, so you can communicate whenever you need to, and it's convenient to speak in Chinese. Since Semporna is mainly about island hopping every day, the hotel's location, safety, and hygiene are particularly important. We were very satisfied with all these aspects; we felt secure staying here and had peace of mind with our travel arrangements. Next time we visit Semporna, this will be our top choice again. Full marks, highly recommended!"

"The service was great, and they offer free luggage storage which is a huge plus. It's super close to the pier, making it convenient for meet-ups. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast wasn't quite up to the standard of a five-star hotel back home. On the upside, the pool and gym were both very clean."

"The hotel's location is really convenient. There's a seafood market right downstairs, and it's a short walk to the jetty and nearby restaurants. I especially have to praise the hot water – the water pressure is excellent, making for a really comfortable shower. It's so refreshing to take a hot shower after a long day out. Overall, it's great value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Semporna."

"Not a bad hotel for the price. We had a new room on the ground floor – the only downside was not being able to open the curtains as the windows faced directly onto market stalls and passersby. A big plus for us was that the air conditioning in these specific rooms wasn't positioned directly over the bed, which is very important. The front desk staff were polite and attentive. It's about a 7-10 minute walk to the promenade. Overall, the town is small, so almost any location would be fine."

"The room was quite clean, and all the toiletries were well-stocked, including mineral water, toothbrushes, and a hairdryer. Many other hotels or guesthouses here don't offer these amenities. What really stood out was the abundance of hangers in the room, about twenty of them. We never had to worry about running out of hangers, even for all the clothes we washed daily. The best part was the swimming pool; it was incredibly clean and rarely crowded. Perhaps people were too tired from playing in the sea to go to the pool. We practically had the pool to ourselves every evening, which was fantastic. Another plus was the breakfast. While it's not quite up to par with boutique hotels back home, it's a great convenience for guests who need to catch an early ferry. Having food readily available downstairs was a lifesaver. And that tea they served every day – I don't know what it was, but it was delicious!"

"This resort is truly beautiful — scenic, clean and affordable. The surroundings are stunning and the rooms are well-maintained. However, there were several service issues that affected our overall experience. 1. Boat pick up was said to be 1.30pm. We were made to wait on the boat for almost 30 minutes because the resort manager had gone to town to buy supplies. The transfer only proceeded after I complained to the service manager. Shouldn’t the boat came earlier if u need to buy supplies?? 2. Upon arrival at the resort, we had to wait again for check-in, even though ours was the only boat arriving and there were only four rooms to be checked in. 3. Dinner was scheduled from 7-8 PM. When we arrived at the café at around 7:30 PM, only rice and chicken were left. The vegetables and prawns had already run out. When I requested a fried egg as a replacement, I was offered clams instead. It should’t be an excuse if other customers took too much food or we came late. 7.30pm is not late. You shd manage the food serving, it was not ur 1st week of business. 4. Breakfast was scheduled from 7-8AM. We arrived at 7:20 AM, but breakfast was not ready yet. Once the food was served, guests had to queue (this is fine) but by the time it was our turn, the eggs and chicken were already finished. I had to personally knock the kitchen to inform before the food was replenished. 5. Trip.com stated that check-out time was 11:00 AM, but the front desk informed us that check-out was at 10:00 AM. Only after I pointed out the booking details was I allowed to check out at 11:00 AM. Belief they wants more ample time to tidy up the rooms at the cost of the customers. Other area that improve:- 1. When I contacted the receptionist via WhatsApp regarding a booking modification, the responses were not particularly friendly or accommodating. A more customer-oriented approach would greatly improve the guest experience. 2. The receptionist’s appearance and presentation did not seem professional. Throughout my stay, she was dressed very casually, resembling sleepwear, and I initially assumed she was part of the housekeeping team rather than the front desk staff. Overall, the resort has great potential due to its beautiful setting, cleanliness, and affordability. With improvements in service standards, communication, and guest management, it could provide a much better experience for visitors."

"Overall, it's pretty clean and tidy, but you can't compare it to a chain hotel. The location is super convenient, right in the center of town. The room even has a small balcony with a sea view (though the water near town isn't very clean). The morning and evening views are still quite nice. There's a 7-Eleven right across from the lobby entrance downstairs for anything you need, and the food street is just a few steps away."

"This was my second stay at the hotel. It's in town, so not too out of the way. There's a KFC not far from here. Overall, there's nothing really wrong with it. Before I came, I'd already checked online reviews, and hotels in Semporna town are generally pretty standard unless you opt for a really high-end one. So, there wasn't much to see at the hotel itself, which is why I didn't take many pictures there. I've just shared some photos from my boat trip for everyone to enjoy."

"Honestly, I never had high expectations for hotels in Semporna. This one was decent, about on par with a chain hotel during a holiday period, and it was clean enough. However, the balcony has glass and aluminum doors, so there's practically no soundproofing. You can hear kids downstairs and people working late at night. One night, I was unlucky enough to have a full night of unloading nearby. If you plan to stay here, bring earplugs. **Cleanliness:** I'd say it's acceptable for Semporna, as the general standard isn't high. The only issue is that housekeeping is done, but not thoroughly. **Service:** They were generally cooperative and helped resolve any issues. However, they are quite particular about the cleanliness of the room, especially the sheets and towels, when you check out. So, make sure not to stain them. Also, ensure you have both room cards when checking out. **Environment:** The location is probably its best feature. It's convenient for island hopping and finding food and drinks downstairs. If I had to recommend it, I'd say it's an option in Semporna, apart from the soundproofing – just remember to bring earplugs. The breakfast, I have to say, is extremely poor.
