"This was once a luxurious hotel, but Yeltsin's time spared no one. He stayed here and even planted a tree. The spacious, well-maintained grounds offer beautiful views, three different restaurants for dinner with exquisite cuisine, sake tasting, sand bathing right on the hotel premises, a huge onsen, and the hotel's layout allows for privacy from other guests. However, the vacation was somewhat spoiled by the fact that the outdoor pool was closed and even bloomed in the first week of September, there's no private beach, and the beds and pillows in the European-style rooms are simply awful. Choose a traditional-style room with a sea view, and your stay will be unforgettable."

"It's a long way, but definitely worth going. Their hot springs are so special. I felt so relaxed after taking a dip. The dinner was very sumptuous. My mother-in-law was so kind. I really like this B&B and hope to visit again."

"A hot spring hotel near the sea, a ten-story Japanese-style sea view room, with an unobstructed sea view outside the window, the scenery is very good. I gave you a sand bath coupon for the hotel's own sand bath hot spring, so you don't even have to go to the Sand Le Hall. The specialty of Ibusuki is the sand bath. You can’t take pictures, so just use the pictures on the official website to take a look. You can soak for ten minutes at most, half the amount for children, and a staff member will wake you up when the time is up. The swimming pool is open during this season. The hotel has a free shuttle service to Ibusuki Station in the morning, leaving at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. You need to make a reservation one day in advance. Dinner was Satsuma cuisine, which was exquisite, with fresh ingredients and delicious taste. Breakfast is buffet style. The Iwasaki Hotel next door actually had small fireworks on 8.12 nights, and I was lucky enough to catch them. The foreign girl at the front desk speaks very good English. She introduced herself as an expatriate from Dubai who has been working in Japan for 5 years. Now she speaks Japanese better than English 🙂"

"It is a little far from Ibusuki Station. Guests staying at Kokoro no Yado can use the neighboring Kokoro no Yu baths as many times as they like, but the baths are open until 10pm, so I thought the bath times were shorter than at other hot spring inns. There are a wide variety of baths, including a jacuzzi and sauna in the indoor bath, a tub bath, a bath where you can use a mud pack, and a carbonated spring where you can watch TV. None of the baths were too hot, so I liked that I could take my time in them. On the first day, I had dinner at the inn, and on the second day, I had dinner at the restaurant attached to Kokoro no Yu, and I was satisfied with both. I recommend the Satsuma gozen and seafood bowl at the restaurant!! The breakfast didn't change much even after staying for several nights, and only the grilled fish and small dishes changed a little, so I would have liked it if there had been a little more variety. The taste was delicious! The price is very reasonable and you can enjoy a variety of baths, so I would like to stay here again when I come to Ibusuki. Thank you!"
