"This onsen hotel offers fantastic natural hot spring services. It has an open-air bath, perfect for soaking and stargazing at night. If you visit in winter, you can even enjoy the snow while bathing. Private baths are also available as an option. The triple room was quite spacious, with three very comfortable beds. The room's functional areas were clearly separated, making it very convenient and comfortable to use. The hotel is close to Furano Station; you can see it right after exiting the station and it's a straightforward 3-4 minute walk. While there isn't a bustling commercial area nearby, you can find suitable restaurants and supermarkets. To get to the 7-Eleven, you'll need to cross the pedestrian overpass in front of the hotel."

"Lovely front desk service staff, mostly. They willingly offered to let me check in an hour earlier as the room is already cleaned and ready - something which most other hotels refuse to do at zero fee. Excellent location close to the Furano train/bus station, with a supermart and a pharmacy close by. And an awesome lamb shabu place at the back of the hotel. "I took the ”Furano Biei Romantic Flower Tour” sightseeing bus at 8 AM, enjoyed the journey, and arrived at the last stop, the Shin Furano Prince Hotel's Ningle Terrace, around 4 PM. I got off there and checked directly into the Prince Hotel. This was a pre-planned arrangement based on my detailed research, saving me money, time, and hassle. After checking in, I booked the 8 PM buffet and then headed to the famous Garden of Wind. The scenery along the way was absolutely beautiful, and I even saw two deer. However, the Garden of Wind was a bit far from the hotel; it took me about an hour to walk there and back. By the time I got there, it was already closed, so I could only walk around the outside of the wire fence (which seemed to be electrified) to admire the small Garden of Wind. Then I returned to Ningle Terrace to continue my interrupted exploration. Since it was still early, I sat down for a coffee at the ”Mori no Tokei” (Forest Clock) cafe before leisurely heading back to the hotel. The evening buffet was incredibly rich, featuring hand-rolled sushi and king crab legs. I ordered a carafe of sake and slowly savored my dinner. After dinner, I went to Shisai-no-Yu to enjoy the hot spring. The next morning, I had planned to take the nearby cable car up the mountain for sightseeing, but there was fog on the mountain, and I knew I wouldn't see anything, so I gave up. Instead, I returned to the hotel and enjoyed another hot spring. After checking out, I took the Asahikawa Line bus to Furano Station to continue my journey. If the timing is right, taking this Asahikawa Line bus is very convenient as it can take you to Furano, or Nakafurano, Kamifurano, Biei, and finally to Asahikawa. However, the buses are infrequent, with only about one every hour. You'll need to check their timetable. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and the fare from the hotel to Furano Station is 260 yen."

"The hotel is a bit remote, located on a mountain, so it's more convenient if you're driving. I booked two nights, but for some reason, the reservation stated we had to switch rooms halfway through our stay. I asked the front desk if they could arrange for us to stay in the same room type so we wouldn't have to move, but the hotel refused. The room type was good and quite spacious, with a lovely view of the lavender garden. During our stay, the hotel announced that the restaurant would be closed for dinner in the evenings, so we had no choice but to eat out. Fortunately, the hotel's breakfast was superb, with a wide variety of choices – definitely a plus!"

"The overall stay was decent, but the parking arrangements were extremely disappointing. The hotel's own parking spaces were severely inadequate, and the on-site traffic direction and queuing system were very chaotic. We wasted a lot of time and patience just waiting to park, which was incredibly inconvenient for guests traveling by car. The front desk service was average; check-in was smooth but there were no particularly delightful or thoughtful touches. The room size and cleanliness were acceptable, meeting basic standards. As for the surrounding amenities, the nearby shopping facilities were quite ordinary, with not many malls or unique shops to explore. If you disregard the parking issue, it's a mediocre accommodation option that barely meets basic needs."

"2nd time staying at this hotel. Location is a few km from town centre, but not an issue if you are driving as it takes only a few minutes. Room is spacious and clean. Lounge service provided for all staying guests, which included manual DIY grinding coffee and local wine. A pity this time round, breakfast does not serve Dutch Baby (pancake with DIY toppings), which we truly enjoyed during the last visit."

"This hotel use the self check in system. However they don't remind guest about the check out time so I am never informed about the check out time. Finally the last day, the receptionist just came to my door at 10:00 and told me I need to pay. I was shocked and asked politely about not charging extra money and got out the room at 10:20. They finally still needed to charge me 2000 Yan. I requested to have the price list and all policies about the check in and check out. THE MAN RECEPTIONIST CAME INTO MY ROOM AND SHOWED ME THE BOOKLET. ONLY ME AND HIM IN THE ROOM, THEN HE SHOUTED AT ME IN JAPANESE RUDELY !!!! I have the right to understand all the pricing and information although I have time exceed, I can pay however I don't deserve the bad attitude of their hotel service. It is the WORST STAY EVER in my life. The time was 31st Dec 10:30 a.m. when he shouted at me. SHAME ON HIM AND THE HOTEL."

"We recently stayed at Furano Winery Hitohana Hotel and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The hotel exceeded our expectations in many aspects, and I would like to commend the team for providing such a comfortable and welcoming stay. One of the biggest highlights was the thoughtful range of complimentary amenities. Having free washing machines and dryers was incredibly convenient, especially for travellers on longer trips. The onsen was clean, relaxing and well maintained, and we appreciated the complimentary green tea, roasted green tea, lemon water and drinking water available outside the onsen, which made the experience even more refreshing. The staff were consistently warm, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were always willing to assist whenever we had questions, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. Our room was spacious, quiet and very well equipped. The kitchenette was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare simple meals. We were also pleasantly surprised that the hotel had already prepared a proper bed for the third person in our group before our arrival. The refrigerator included a freezer compartment, which was particularly useful for storing ice cream and frozen food that we purchased during our trip. We also appreciated that complimentary coffee and tea were available throughout our stay. One of the most memorable experiences was the daily complimentary wine tasting during happy hour. As an added bonus, the hotel also provided us with a voucher to redeem a complimentary bottle of wine at Furano Winery, which was a wonderful gesture and a unique way to showcase the local winery. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, I hope the hotel will consider a few areas for improvement. The hotel's location is slightly away from central Furano, so having a car is highly recommended. This was not a major issue for us, but guests relying on public transport may find it less convenient. The parking arrangement could also be improved. The car park is located about a three-minute walk uphill from the hotel. While the distance itself is manageable, the walking path consists of loose stones without a proper pavement. At night, the area is very dark, and during rainy weather, it can become slippery and potentially hazardous, particularly for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. Additional lighting and a paved walkway would greatly improve both safety and accessibility. Lastly, although breakfast was enjoyable, we found the selection somewhat limited compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Furano. For example, during our previous stay at La Vista Furano, the breakfast offered a wider variety of Japanese specialties, including fresh sashimi and Furano melon, as well as complimentary late-night soba, which created a more memorable dining experience. At Furano Winery Hitohana, the breakfast leaned more towards Western offerings. Expanding the selection of local Japanese dishes and regional specialties would further enhance the overall guest experience. Despite these suggestions, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend Furano Winery Hitohana Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, spacious and comfortable accommodation in Furano. The generous complimentary amenities, excellent service and thoughtful hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit such an enjoyable one."

"1. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Kitanomine ski resort, just across the street. Ski rentals are available directly at the hotel, and there's a very enthusiastic young man from Taiwan who works there. The prices are also the cheapest, highly recommended. 2. Transportation: There's a direct bus from New Chitose Airport that stops right at the hotel entrance, making it a seamless journey. The bus stop for Biei and Asahikawa is directly opposite the hotel's main entrance, with a direct Lavender Bus service that accommodates luggage. 3. Dining: We booked breakfast and dinner. Breakfast has a 1-hour limit, and dinner has a 90-minute limit. Both breakfast and dinner were very rich and plentiful. Dinner even included BBQ, though the dishes didn't change daily. Beer and sake were all-you-can-drink. 4. Entertainment: The hotel offers free 24-hour beverage machines. There are also scheduled times daily for roasted marshmallows, baked potatoes, cookies, and beer time, which the kids really enjoyed. There's also a children's play area. 5. Room: We had a triple room. The room wasn't very big and was a bit dated, but the heating was excellent. 6. Onsen (Hot Spring): There are two pools, one at room temperature and one at 40 degrees Celsius. It was quiet and not crowded."

"It was pouring rain when I arrived, and still drizzling the next morning, so I decided to head back to Sapporo. I had initially planned to visit the Magic Terrace. This hostel is truly excellent; it even has a kitchen, and everything was spotless. The only drawback is that there isn't much to explore in the small town itself. It seems to be located near a ski resort, but I visited in September, so that wasn't relevant to my trip."
