"Excellent service by Taj staff, smooth check in, restful nights. Security team very friendly, responsible and helpful . Buffet service the coffee and tea beverage can be better too diluted. Needs improvement. All staff helpful and forthcoming. Rooftop and in room svc is good, enjoyable in days when you don’t want to eat out. The team members of Mr Yabesh and Tejkumar are excellent. Looking forward to my next stay. Thank you"

"We congratulate Leela for having such brilliant staff! That's what makes the hotel stands out from other high end competitors. Even though the hotel was fully booked and very busy at the time, we were warmly welcomed from the moment we stepped down from the car. The gentleman who checked us in, Mr. Shantanu, Ms. Supra at Concierge, Nayansi, the manager at the India Restaurant... and many more whose name we were unable to remember, made us feel like some sort of noble or important persons, and all that was done from the bottom of their heart with genuine warmness...we use to stay at Peninsular, Four Seasons, Aman and the like when we went on holidays. They are not available in Chennai but we must say Leela offers even better services than our usual choices. The hotel itself is very well-maintained and classy. The pool is resort-feel even though it is in the city. The free spa facilities are very generous with many indoor jacuzzi, suana and herbal steam. We are very impressed. Thank you for ending our Easter holidays in South India perfectly!!"

"Returning to this location after eight years, I was hoping for the same 5star experience I once enjoyed. Unfortunately, it’s not quite what it used to be, and the property is beginning to show its age. On a positive note, the staff were warm and courteous throughout—from the reception to the restaurant team. Their professionalism and friendliness was a highlight of the stay. The restaurant manager Nazim was helpful. However, the room was disappointing. Upon entering, there was a strong musty odor. When I mentioned this to the front desk, I was told all the rooms have this smell and that it would dissipate in about 10 minutes—but unfortunately, it lingered. It seems guests may simply become accustomed to it over time. Not me.. lol. The Colony restaurant offered a decent breakfast, though dinner not that much. It felt overcrowded and cramped, and the buffet menu was not the greatest, with food quality was just average. The key strengths of this location remain its convenient setting, friendly staff, and ample parking. With some updates and improvements, it could once again live up to its former reputation."

"The interior of the hotel is very nice. The only inconvenience is to have to pass your luggage through the metal detector every time you enter but I understand it is for everyone's safety so it is also a plus. The rooms were clean and elegant. I wished the water bottles they prepared in the rooms were plastic instead of glass. But overall highly recommended for business travel use as it is close to the airport."

"The bedding, floor, and the room in general were clean. The location was also very close to the bustling downtown area. As a beer lover, I appreciated having an alcohol store nearby. The downsides were that the water wasn't hot, only lukewarm, the sink drainpipe was detached and leaked directly onto the floor, and there was no shower. However, Chennai in May is scorching, so I didn't mind the lukewarm water at all. Overall, I'm satisfied!"

"Stayed 4 nights at The Residency Towers, Chennai early May 2026. Hotel looks grand and clean. Very convenient location if you are a shopper! 'Off' pick drive to International airport about 20 mins. Staff are very kind, polite and helpful. Staff at main door entrance always greet with a smile and are willing to collect your luggages. Breakfast spread with commendable! Many options from South Indian (fresh and on the spot) made dosa, roti, Mediterranean food staple like hummus, pita bread, healthy sandwiches, juices, filter coffee! pastries, cakes, porridge.. more than one can ask for! Special mention about Mr Deeraj. Deeraj made every effort to make my stay memorable after I had issues in the first room assigned to me. Dheeraj personal inspected the next room and assured to make my stay a good one, and he definitely did! Dheeraj visited me in the restaurant to speak to me personally about my dissatisfaction about the first room which is very commendable in ensuring guests are well taken care of. Dheeraj even gave me an upgrade! which was very kind of him. Another mention is Anand who collected my luggages. He was on full spring and energy in his work! He has very good working etiquette. Another shout out to Krish and Ashwin from the restaurant! They were very sweet and friendly to make our mealtimes enjoyable and their lightheartedness full of spirit really made my day! Myself and my husband had a truly wonderful time at The Residency Towers, Chennai! We will surely return. My only comment is, I expected all rooms to have been updated and renovated as advertised on their website, but unfortunately only couple of floors."

"Where do I begin? Travelling with a toddler is no easy task, and the team at Taj Connemara made it worthwhile, smooth, and exciting. It all began with Ms Jasmine who religiously followed up with all our requests and requirements for childproofing the Heritage Room we stayed. From additional mineral water bottles, bumpers on furniture, soft toys for bath, and an excellent baby cot, Ms Jasmine coordinated with her ground team and got everything ready before we checked in. The icing on the cake was the remarkable welcome gift for our daughter consisting of excellent baby skincare products from an established brand.  The stay itself was fantastic with a cosy room, abundance of toiletries, and exceptional breakfast. Shoutout to Mr Baskaran for attending to all our breakfast requests for our daughter. The baby dosa was a hit!  Located in a prime spot in Chennai next to Spencer Plaza and the newer EA Mall, Taj Connemara is strategic. Travel to major shopping centres and traditional clothing stores was made easy.  Last but not least, the hospitality and polite service offered by the staff of Taj Connemara was nothing short of amazing. They made our short trip to Chennai a memorable one and we look forward to coming again very soon!  Kudos to everyone at Taj Connemara for ensuring my family and I have a great time at your hotel.  Regards,  Linges"

"I spent a night in this Hotel while in a business trip in Chennai. Honestly speaking, i was positively surprised. The staff was professional and helpful. The room was top notch, well maintained with plenty of options and amenities. The food choice was also great; i tried the Kebab factory restaurant and it was one of the best meal i had in my trip. The hotel is also conveniently located near the airport and they provide a complimentary shuttle to the airport. Great Price / Quality ratio. Highly Recommended"

"The location is perfect, close to OMR, ECR, and easy access to city. The hotel is immaculate with beautiful aroma while entering. The rooms are really large 484ft². If you are smokers, you would need to upgrade to a balcony room as the property is a non-smoking environment. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the sheets are perfect. Each room has a comfortable couch for a work station. The kitchenette is available to use at an additional 3000 inr extra. The dishwasher is available for use. Bathroom is very spacious, and not to mention TAJ Soaps.. Pool, Gymnasium, steam and sauna are complimentary."
