"We only managed to get a side view room, but the view was still spectacular and we got to see a large part of the ocean. The room was very clean and spacious. Location is right opposite to the 360 attraction, probably a one-minute walk. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and also Odeon cinema. Quite close to Palace Pier and Churchill Square Mall too. Parking is really convenient too."

"Booked the Grand for my birthday weekend, the hotel was very nice, the staff were great and the location was spot on. The only downside was that you have to pay £40 a day for the to park your car and it’s a first come first served policy, so if you want your car parked at the grand make sure you get to the hotel before noon as the car park will be full."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the sea, just a five-minute walk away. The front desk service is excellent. There's a kitchen and fridge available for guests to cook, and you need a room card to enter and exit. There's also a water refilling station in the lobby, which even passersby can use. The room isn't huge but it's very clean, and the bathroom has a wet and dry separation. The double room offers great value for money."

"I often choose Leonardo hotels for holidays as it's a good chain I can trust. We loved the location here. The pool is good, although weirdly too deep (1.7m) for such a small pool that many families visit. Gym.on site was probably the most decent I've seen in a hotel. Didn't eat or drink at the hotel, so cannot comment on that, but there are so many restaurants in the Lanes, you will be spoilt for choice. We've upgraded room to family with 2 King beds and it was lovely! I would definitely come back."

"The room is great with all the amenities available. Staff are really nice and helpful. The only thing that the hotel could improve is cleanliness of the duvet. I could see some stinks on it despite the fact that the duvet cover is clean. And also just a recommendation for the hotel, it would be great to serve the guests with disposable slippers for the hygiene of the room as it would be a bit inconvenient for travellers to step in the room without slippers"

"A lovely modern hotel with a nice gym and food. I ate at the restaurant all three nights of my stay due to poor weather - but very tasty food! Beach and i360 and places are close walk and so is the train station ! My issue is with cleanliness… my room felt dusty - I could feel it n also see it - from dust bunnies creeping from under my bed to the bedside tables having crumbs in corners, I wiped the table under the TV/next to the mirror as I wished to put my skincare etc… there and the tissue was dirty! It’s clear that a male or someone with a beard cleaned my room as 2/3 days I had stubble/hair on my sink. Also, the shower had not been cleaned on the tiles as there was black gunk/mould coming off the grout when I simply pointed the shower head towards it. Rooms are also not sound proof as I could hear my neighbors go to the bathroom, wind noises and two days in I had to tell reception to ask my neighbour to not blast the TV at 7am! Despite that, staff are very friendly! I would order food just before 9.30pm n they wouldn’t mind - in the restaurant. I was also able to shorten my stay by one night due to not needing an extra day without issue - just reservations team needs to accept it once you do through Trip. Water bottles are provided - my last morning there was a full water outage in the morning… luckily I used my head and asked for extra bottles to allow me to get ready at least! Alternatively showers at Hilton Leisure Centre were possible for us to use until it was sorted."

"Welcoming and friendly Reception from Abba. Check in was easy and offered the QR Code for wi-fi. The location was excellent and room was comfortable. Some of the negative reviews are a bit harsh as it is a old hotel but the price reflects some moderation which would be nice to have if you are looking for reasonable rate with clean and great location and a comfortable bed and enough facilities - a iron, kettle and even a fan this is a great choice. "Had a really great experience at The Charm Hotel. We booked the ”King Suite with View” which had an amazing scenic view, especially in the morning with the cool breeze. The environment and room is not only conducive, but is both spacious and clean. Highly recommend travellers who are looking for a safe hotel as my friend and I (both females) felt rather comfortable staying in this hotel. Only advise would be to pack light as there is no lift and we had to climb 2 stories up. Otherwise, everything is close to perfect."

"The location is superb, about 200 meters to the left after exiting the train station. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making it convenient to go anywhere. There's also a supermarket and restaurants nearby, so eating and shopping are very easy. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and efficient. Although the facilities are simple and the room isn't huge, it's big enough to open a large suitcase. The overall bathroom also looks quite clean, and there's air conditioning, so it's functional enough. It's a shame there's no refrigerator. I twisted my ankle and asked the front desk for ice to no avail. The room price wasn't cheap either. Brighton is charming, and I really love this city."

"This hostel boasts a fantastic location, right next to Regent Square, and just steps from the beach. It's also within walking distance of the train station. The common areas are very spacious and include a communal kitchen, with plenty of outlets on the walls – perfect for getting some work done. The rooms themselves are clean, and each one has its own private bathroom. The only minor drawback is that blow-drying your hair might disturb others. Each guest gets a lockable locker, and the beds come with backrests. They even provide towels and bath mats (shampoo and shower gel are also available in the bathroom), which shows great attention to detail and convenience. Although the breakfast is simple, it's quite tasty. Overall, it was a really great experience, and I'd happily recommend this place to anyone visiting!"
