Cheap Hotels in Nice

"This was a stylish hotel, and I had a very comfortable stay! Unlike in Japan, amenities like bathrobes, loungewear, and slippers weren't provided. However, I was grateful that the hand soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all L'Occitane products. The power outlets require you to push the plug firmly all the way in. I brought two types of adapters, but one of them didn't work with these outlets. There was a water dispenser in the hallway, which was really helpful for refilling my water bottle. The cleaning staff were very kind and flexible, for example, they were able to just exchange the towels when I requested it. The location was very convenient, with a bus stop right in front, a tram station nearby, and easy access to the ocean!"

"Staff were friendly and accommodating. However, the room was quite small with very limited space to move around. The lack of air conditioning was uncomfortable, especially with mosquitoes during the night — I was bitten like crazy. There was only one USB port by the bed, while standard plug sockets were only available near the door. Towels were not provided free of charge, although a hair dryer could be borrowed from reception. Breakfast was fairly basic, consisting mainly of cereal, croissants, baguettes, and cheese, with drinks including coffee, tea, and juices. There were no hot cooked breakfast options available. Overall, for the price it was reasonable value, especially with breakfast included. However, the room conditions could definitely be improved, particularly by providing at least a fan to help with the heat. (6/10)"

"We had a great stay at this hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable. Location is perfect - right in the city center. It was easy to get to anywhere by walking. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay!"

"I arrived earlier than expected, but they kindly informed me that my room was ready and allowed me to check in early. This was a great help as it gave me more time to get ready for sightseeing. The room was a bit small for two people, and with our suitcases open, there wasn't much space to move around. However, for our short stay, it was perfectly fine, especially considering the overall cost, which offered good value for money."

"Good place to stay. Staff were super kind and helpful!Close to the train station and easy walking everywhere else. They let us leave our luggage after checkout which was helpful. Place was clean. There was no shower curtain which we found odd as the washroom floor got really wet. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but the area that breakfast was held had a weird smell. We had to rent a kettle as there was none in the room. The hotel offered a discount at the attached restaurant which was nice"

"The hostel is very nice. Very close to Tram Line that connect Nice with Airport Terminal 1. It also near the Nice Train Station where you can start journey visiting several city near Nice such as Monaco, Antibes, Menton, Cannes, Etc. The hotel is very good. I stay in the room with 6 bed. Our room has own bathroom. Every bed has their own curtain. In the room also you can find the wardrobe for your bag. They have kitchen if you want to heating something. You can leave your luggage for free. For moslem, there are so many halal restaurants near the hostel, you can laso find the mosque around 300 meter from Hostel. So nice place to stay."

"The location is decent, near the main road. It's about a 15-minute walk to the train station. The breakfast was quite good, and luggage storage was convenient. The heating worked very well, and the front desk staff were friendly."

"The location is convenient – about a 10-minute walk to Nice Riquier train station, and 20-25 minutes on foot to Place Masséna. Tram #1 runs nearby, and a bit further, from Place Garibaldi, you can catch tram #2 to the airport and tram #3. Across the street from the hotel is a shopping center with a Carrefour that we visited daily. The room has almost everything you need for a stay, including a well-equipped kitchenette with a two-burner stove, microwave, kettle, capsule coffee machine (we don't drink coffee, so didn't use it), refrigerator, and dishwasher (with a few tablets provided). There was also dish soap, but no sponge (we had to buy one ourselves). There was also no cutting board (we bought one too). All necessary utensils are available (though for knives, there's only a small one for vegetables and a bread knife; a larger, all-purpose knife would have been nice). For those who care, there were no cooking essentials like salt, sugar, or spices, which are usually present in apartments of this type. As warned beforehand, there's no cleaning service during your stay (there's a vacuum cleaner in the closet). You have to take out the trash yourself, and towels are not changed (there's a heated towel rail in the bathroom, which is very convenient; you can wash something and it dries quickly). The bathroom has liquid soap and shower gel, a bathtub, and a shower hose. An ironing board is available (I don't recall an iron as it wasn't needed). There's also a safe. Our stay was quite satisfying, and we would book again."

"The hotel isn't very big, and I booked a room with breakfast included, which was reasonably priced and quite good. The only thing is, the breakfast was pretty much the same every day. Staying for 6 nights, it felt a bit monotonous; it would have been nice to have a little more variety. The location is excellent, right on a commercial street not far from the train station, which is super convenient if you plan on taking trains to visit towns around Nice."

"We had a pleasant stay at Hotel-Restaurant Isidore Nice Ouest. The front desk staff were very supportive and helpful throughout our visit, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was included, which was a nice and convenient way to start the day. There was plenty of space available for car parking, which made things easy for us. However, the front EV charging station did not work for us during our stay. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with friendly service, though there is some room for improvement—especially when it comes to the coffee 😉."
