Cheap Hotels in Nadi

"I stayed during a cyclone, so the rain and wind were intense. I'm grateful to the staff who worked through it. However, even before the cyclone, this hotel's facilities were old. They only provided a bath mat and bath towel – no hand towels or face towels. When I asked for an extra towel, I was told I'd have to exchange it for the one I was currently using. Also, if you don't have a car, there are no shops or restaurants nearby, only the hotel's own shop and restaurant. While it's understandable during a cyclone, the roof leaks were severe, and the room smelled strongly of mold the next day. I couldn't stay any longer and switched hotels."

"The entire hotel is built by the sea, and the sea view is beautiful. Unfortunately, the beach and the sea are black, so you can only swim in the hotel's pool. Additionally, the hotel is newly built, and many facilities are still under construction. The room was a bit dirty, and there were small black bugs on the sheets. However, the hotel itself is beautifully constructed, and the staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. The prices for items inside the hotel are not much different from outside prices. Overall, my impression was pretty good, but they really need to improve the cleanliness and complete the hotel facilities."

"I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience in the hope that it encourages some improvements. Unfortunately, my stay at Nalagi Hotel was far below my expectations. From the moment I checked in, the experience got off to a disappointing start. The front desk attendant was cold and unwelcoming, never made eye contact, and didn’t smile once. She appeared annoyed to be there, which was a stark contrast to the genuine warmth and hospitality I experienced at other hotels in Nadi during this trip. The room was spacious, but it lacked thoughtful design and attention to detail. The main light switch is inconveniently located below the television, with no bedside lamps or nightstands, meaning that if you wanted to read in bed or simply turn the lights off, you had to get up each time. There was also a persistent unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom drain, and overall cleanliness and maintenance left much to be desired. The hotel feels worn and tired, as though very little care has gone into its upkeep. That’s perhaps the biggest disappointment, because the property has so much potential that simply isn’t being realized. The final straw came on my second night. I was repeatedly woken between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. by neighboring guests who were aggressively banging on a nearby door so loudly it sounded as though they were trying to break it down. Once they eventually got into the room, the noise continued. I called reception to report the disturbance and was told security would be sent, but if they did come, it had little effect. Eventually, I had to get out of bed and ask the guests myself to keep the noise down. I genuinely wanted to enjoy my stay, but the combination of poor service, lack of maintenance, hygiene concerns, and the handling of the late-night disturbance made for a very disappointing experience. With better management, staff training, and investment in the property, Nalagi Hotel could be a wonderful place to stay. Sadly, that was not my experience."

"Such a great customer service. I booked a room with a king bed and by mistake i was given a room with 2 single beds. The team quickly responded and upgraded me to a ocean view room with a king bed for free. Their breakfast was awsome. I loved every second of my stay. And hats off to the fijian guy at the entrance. I forgot his name. He was so helpfull carrying everyones bags and showing them their rooms and he always had a smile on his face. Definetly will stay again."

"This is a hotel very close to the airport. Price is competitive. Rooms are spacious and all basic amenities are there. Not your fancy hotel, but a very practical one for a one night stay while you wait to board the early morning flight. Staff is great and courteous. Location is good, quite close to restaurants and cafes."

"Perfect location for the airport, literally walking distance across the road (and yet didn’t really hear planes!). Lovely grounds & pools. Good restaurant, although dinner portions very small. We had the cheapest room type, and it was disappointingly close to the kitchen noise & walls were very thin - we could hear our neighbours coughing through the night. We would use again for the airport, but try a more expensive room option."

"The hotel's free airport pick-up service was great – just remember to call ahead to book it. They had a driver waiting for us with a sign at the pick-up point, which was much appreciated! On the downside, the room facilities are a bit dated, and the hotel lobby felt a bit dim and oppressive without bright lighting. There's also some renovation going on outside, which made it a bit noisy. The hot water was inconsistent, and the kettle in our room was leaking, which was quite dangerous! However, the service staff were excellent. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. The hotel is conveniently located near a supermarket for shopping, as well as both Chinese and Western restaurants. Plus, there's an ATM nearby that accepts UnionPay cards for withdrawing Fijian dollars, which was very handy!"

"Overall, the stay was just okay for a short period. The staff were friendly, but the facilities are clearly old and worn out – they really need urgent investment. The bathroom, unfortunately, was a disaster: a simple plastic seat, loose fixtures, and only hand soap. On the positive side: the pool was fine, the people were nice, and the food offered some variety. There are alternatives right outside the hotel, so you're not dependent on it. Conclusion: For a short overnight stay of up to two days – for example, upon arrival or departure – the hotel is acceptable. It's not recommended for longer stays."

"All the staff members were absolutely amazing — their hospitality and service were top-notch! Illy's hospitality at JB’s bar and Pizza was amazing. You really don’t need to go outside the resort — everything you could want is right here! From delicious food and refreshing drinks to fun activities and a beautiful pool, it has it all. The resort has it's own Taxi which is reasonable and convenient. They provide currency exchange as well. Truly one of the best places to stay for a relaxing holiday infront of the beach. 🌴✨"

"The hotel is a bit old, but the cleanliness is acceptable, and the room was quite clean. The beach in front of the hotel doesn't have great water quality, but the overall environment is decent. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but there's a Korean-run supermarket and restaurant nearby. Overall, it's pretty okay."
