"About 15min walk from copenhagen central station, room had a kettle which was good! the shower area was right beside the toilet door so the floor will still get wet despite the shower curtain but can be easily solve with a floor towel"

"The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Nyhavn, and surrounded by many supermarkets and restaurants. It's accessible from the airport by metro, and just a short walk from the metro station to the hotel. The room was very quiet, and while the curtains weren't fully blackout, it didn't affect my sleep. The lobby is beautiful, but the room facilities felt a bit plasticky, comparable to a domestic three-star standard at best. The room was quite small, barely enough space to open a suitcase. There was no complimentary water, and the Wi-Fi was prone to disconnecting with poor signal in the room. Luggage storage is available in lockers on the basement level for an additional fee (please refer to the picture for pricing). The self check-in and check-out process was very efficient, and the staff were helpful."

"The Good: Overall, it was a good stay. The entire property runs on a highly efficient self-service system, which made checking in and out quick, seamless, and hassle-free. If you like a smooth, automated process without long queues, you'll appreciate how they have things set up here. Areas for Improvement: The Rooms & Beds: The rooms are quite compact and on the smaller side. Additionally, the beds were a little uncomfortable, which made it a bit tough to get a perfectly restful night's sleep. A decent, budget-friendly option in a lively location if you just need a functional place to crash and prefer a self-service vibe, but don't expect premium comfort."

"Location is perfect and around 10 minutes walk from the train station. I paid for an upgrade to the Heaven Rooms which was located on the the 9th floor with great view! The service and kindness of each of the people in the front desk was worth mentioning. Two disadvantages: 1. Breakfast was ok, but for the price you pay they could have add some more options, although the view was amazing! 2. The price of the lockers is quite high and unexpected until you see it in the front desk. Other than that it was great and well recommended!!"

"This is an older hotel, but all the common areas, including the lobby, restaurant, and corridors, are beautifully decorated. There's even a small garden next to the restaurant, which makes having breakfast there quite pleasant. The room itself is a bit small, and there's no kettle, but the lobby offers free hot water. It's clear they've made efforts to update and improve things to keep up with the times. The breakfast, however, was just okay – the simplest of all the hotel breakfasts I had on this trip, though the bread and cheese quality was decent. So, based on the common areas, it could easily be a 3-star, but the room itself is probably more like 2-star at best."

"The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were friendly. The request to be allocated top floor room was met. However, the housekeeping is something the hotels should focus on. The bathroom in my room was not cleaned and there were stains of urine on the toilet as well as weird smell in the room."

"Wakeup Copenhagen - Carsten Niebuhrs Gade: After a nightmare stay at City Hotel Nebo (Istedgade 6, 1650 København V, Denmark) where I couldn't sleep and my skin was itching due to dirty conditions including hair in the sink and no hygiene products available, Wakeup Copenhagen was my salvation. Immaculate cleanliness, modern minimalist room on 8th floor with marvelous city view, comfortable bed where I finally slept after 48 hours of exhaustion, clean shower with good water pressure, good quality breakfast, very good reception lobby, perfect location near Dybbølsbro Station (500m) and easy access to Copenhagen Bus Terminal for my FlixBus, excellent value at €62-70. Rating: 9/10. Compared to City Hotel Nebo (-3/10), this was heaven. The contrast was shocking - from dirty and uncomfortable to clean, modern, and peaceful. This hotel saved my trip and gave me the rest I needed to enjoy my last day in Copenhagen. Absolutely recommended for solo travelers who value cleanliness! "Thanks for allow us to check in early. Storage luggage with a fee. With share bathroom and 2 beds with sofa. And sink and desk inside the room. Just I need to climb up 4th floor with my large luggage. Everything is good and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, near to train station, very convenience to walk around the city."

"This hotel requires self check-in. The automated room assignment was a triple room. However, after checking in on the first day, I found that it didn't match the photos shown on Trip.com. There was no TV, and the bedside lamp was completely non-functional. When I informed the front desk (which is located in the sister hotel next door, Absalon Hotel), I was told that this room doesn't include a TV (but I later found there was clearly a TV monitor in the room). They claimed Trip.com made a mistake, and the front desk staff were unfriendly. They told me to speak to housekeeping myself about getting the lamp fixed. I had no choice but to contact Trip.com, and the platform was very proactive in helping me. However, the hotel's response was very passive. The hotel didn't even apologize initially and demanded that I bring my luggage downstairs and re-check in, even though I had already stayed one day. It was clearly the hotel's mistake and an act of deceiving the guest, yet they still demanded that I... The hotel's front desk requires going up stairs with luggage, and even after taking the elevator to the floor, there's another short flight of stairs to navigate. This is extremely inconvenient for a family traveling with 32-inch and 28-inch suitcases and backpacks. To experience the fun of different hotels during our trip, I also stayed at the sister hotel next door, Absalon Hotel. It was a complete contrast; the service attitude of the front desk at the two hotels was completely different. This is why I'm giving 'one star for service'!! (I don't even want to give one star)."
