"The path from Lijiang Old Town to the B&B is a bit narrow in some sections. Our Didi driver actually dropped us off less than 200 meters from the B&B, making us walk the rest of the way ourselves! Honestly, those 200 meters weren't actually that bad. The B&B owner apologized when he found out and upgraded our room! The room I originally booked already exceeded my expectations, but the upgraded room on the second floor was even more beautiful. From the floor-to-ceiling windows, you could see mountains and fields. The rooftop terrace offered expansive views, and occasionally you could catch a glimpse of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain's peak, though unfortunately, the clouds were too thick and there was no snow on the top. The B&B service was incredibly nice. The two young men working there were also very enthusiastic, not only helping us with our luggage but also giving us detailed recommendations for good restaurants and unique cafes nearby. They even gave us some fruit. The B&B is just a few minutes' walk from Baisha Ancient Town. The breakfast at the B&B was also very clean and exquisite!"

"Even though my Chinese isn't great, and I didn't get to chat much, all the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. They went out of their way to help, even using a translator. The mushroom hotpot restaurant they recommended, though pricey, was absolutely delicious and felt very upscale. During my stay, the weather was a bit overcast, so I didn't get to see the beautiful snow-capped mountains, but the adorable cats made my time there wonderful.
Getting around by taxi was super convenient, and you can even walk to the ancient town of Baisha. The only real downside was the lack of a refrigerator in the room. However, it wasn't hot, so not having cold drinks wasn't a big deal. I hear Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is stunning in winter, so I'll definitely be back!"

As soon as you open the courtyard gate, you're enveloped in a tranquil atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery, with only the sounds of the wind and the scent of flowers. We slept soundly, completely undisturbed by noise at night. Just a few hundred meters walk brings you to Baisha Old Town, where you can find all the food, drinks, and entertainment you could wish for. It's the best of both worlds – you can experience the lively buzz of the old town while still having your own private, peaceful sanctuary. The butler service was impeccable, responding promptly to our needs without being overbearing, which made our entire stay relaxing and comfortable. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bedding was super comfy. Highly recommend for traveling with friends!"

"🫶 Not a shill! Highly recommend for those who love peace and quiet! I originally came for the terrace and the snow-capped mountain view, but I was deeply touched by the warm atmosphere and all the thoughtful details!
Before check-in, they proactively contacted me and sent all relevant information like the address, directions, and activities. They always offered to help with luggage, greeted me warmly whenever I came and went, and thoughtfully asked if I needed transportation or meals. It wasn't just commercial politeness; you could feel that they were genuinely good and sincere people!
🌄 The rooms with a second-floor terrace have an absolutely stunning view. You can see the 'golden mountains' at sunrise and sunset right from your room, with the snow-capped mountains practically at your fingertips when you're lying in bed. All the pictures were taken in the room with my phone! Absolutely amazing! I also stayed in a triangular vaulted room and loved the ceiling design! I slept incredibly well! The room photos are exactly what you get; absolutely no misleading pictures!
🍈 The day I arrived, as soon as I settled in, afternoon tea was delivered to my room. It wasn't some perfunctory pre-made stuff; there was delicious ice cream cake and fragrant rose tea! On my last day, I had to leave for the snow mountain before dawn and would miss breakfast, so the night before, the lady prepared a take-out breakfast and delivered it to my room – super thoughtful! After a day of playing, I didn't have an appetite for afternoon tea, so they brought me a full plate of fresh fruit. I was so touched! Every detail shows their sincerity!
🏘️ The hotel is not in the city center, so it's very quiet! During the day, the hotel can arrange transport to the city center, and it's also easy to get a taxi if you go out yourself. Baisha is a small town, different from the hustle and bustle of Lijiang, but it's quiet and convenient. A short walk takes you to the ancient town, and barbershops and convenience stores are all nearby. Because of this hotel, I love this small town even more!!!"

"Giving this a genuine five-star review – it's the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Lijiang this trip. The overall environment is fantastic, meticulously maintained, clean, and stylish. Staying here really helped me slow down and start enjoying the moment, rather than just rushing from place to place.
The hotel has a scenic viewing platform on the third floor, and every photo taken there looks amazing. The location is also excellent; it's very close to Yuhu Village and Baisha Ancient Town, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The staff are warm, attentive, and provide an exceptional experience.
And you absolutely have to try the coffee made by the owner – I have to praise them, they're truly talented! Every latte art design is stunning, and both the appearance and taste are top-notch.
If I hadn't already planned my onward journey, I honestly would have loved to stay here for a few more days. I genuinely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Baisha; the experience far exceeded my expectations!"

"I had a wonderful experience at the Star of Lijiang Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive – always ready to help with a smile especially 小杨杨. The room was spotless and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay.
One of the highlights was the free breakfast – good variety and tasty options to start the day. I also loved the free tea break, a nice little touch that made me feel welcomed and relaxed after a day of exploring.
Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Lijiang. Great value, great people, and a very clean place to rest."

"Choosing this guesthouse was the best decision we made on our trip to Lijiang! It's perfectly situated right on the edge of the ancient town, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. We could walk to Baisha Ancient Town in just a few minutes, yet the courtyard itself was incredibly serene. The Naxi-style decor truly creates an amazing atmosphere, with lush flowers and plants everywhere – every photo turned out beautifully. Our room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and there was plenty of hot water. The toiletries were comprehensive, and all the facilities were brand new and worked perfectly. The owner was incredibly thoughtful; they actively helped us with our luggage upon arrival and even offered us fruit and fruit tea. They also gave us tons of local tips on what to avoid, and the private restaurant they recommended was super authentic. Sitting in the courtyard soaking up the sun in the morning, and enjoying the quiet breeze in the evening, truly melted away all our travel fatigue. It felt as warm and comfortable as staying at a friend's house. The value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Lijiang.
