I definitely made the right choice; it's great value for money, and you can see the hotel owner puts a lot of effort into running the place. I do have a small suggestion though: if the front desk on the first floor were tidier, it would give guests a more premium impression. And if the hotel staff could wear unified uniforms (at least the tops), it would be even more perfect!"

"Choosing Changliu Shanju for our trip to Mingshi Garden was absolutely the right decision! The hotel is surrounded by karst peaks and vast rice paddies, making it feel like living in a real-life wuxia fantasy landscape – the atmosphere is just incredible. The check-in process was seamless with attentive and friendly butler service. Our room was spacious and clean, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows were simply stunning. Opening the windows revealed lush green mountains and rice fields. Waking up to birdsong in the morning, with misty mountains in the distance, and being able to admire such picturesque scenery from bed was amazing. The bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully quiet night's sleep. The rooftop infinity pool offers an absolutely breathtaking view. Watching the sunset against the rolling peaks from there was perfect for photos. The hotel's side gate provides direct access to a cycling path, so we could easily go for a bike ride or a walk. It's also very close to the Yulin Dam, just a two to three-minute walk, which was super convenient for heading back to the room for a shower after exploring. The hotel also offers complimentary short-distance shuttle services. We used the hotel's business car for transferring to another hotel and for dinner, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. Our child also enjoyed the complimentary sachet-making activity, creating a lovely memory of our trip."

"This hotel definitely lives up to its influencer hype! The environment is great, and the facilities are extensive. It's split into Building A and Building B. We stayed in B, and while it's not as convenient as A, it's not far to walk, and you get to enjoy the hotel's surroundings on the way. Besides the pool and restaurant being in Building A, there's basically no difference in other facilities. In fact, Building B is less crowded, so you can have the kids' facilities almost to yourselves. The pool gets very lively and busy at night. Highly recommended for families with children! The room environment is also excellent. We had a triple room, and each bed was huge. Even though there was only one bathroom, it was incredibly good value for money!"

"First, I highly recommend this place because of its location! After arriving, I learned that there are two accommodation areas in Shuolong Town: one located at the Detian Waterfall Scenic Area Visitor Center, where visitors must take a sightseeing bus to the entrance; the other is right at the scenic area entrance itself. We chose Yinquan Mountain Residence, which is right at the entrance, making it convenient for dining. The owner even helped us queue for tickets, saving us the 30 yuan sightseeing bus fee. Secondly, the guesthouse is newly opened, very clean, and tastefully decorated. The shower water pressure is excellent, and the air conditioning is great! Thirdly, the breakfast is excellent. Besides set meals, they also have porridge, soy milk, and noodles. The owners and their family are very kind and welcoming! Highly recommended!"

"This Zhuang-style B&B, nestled in Mingshi Countryside, offers panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of karst peaks and rice paddies. Morning mist and evening glow make for fantastic photo opportunities. The Zhuang-style breakfast is fresh and delicious, and the butler service is attentive. The Mingshi River bamboo raft pier is within walking distance. The only downsides are the numerous countryside insects, the difficulty of booking a mountain view room during peak season, and the significantly higher price compared to standard B&Bs."

"A very satisfying trip! Since it was the off-season, there were fewer people, and the service was even more attentive. It's not just a hotel, but more like a community, with services like travel photography and a Chinese restaurant also open to the public. The coffee shop across the way, 'Dao Na Li', is a popular spot for Instagram photos, but hotel guests can enter for free. The service was excellent! The package I bought included afternoon tea, a travel photography session, and more. They even packed up our afternoon tea for us to take away. The staff were all very enthusiastic and helpful in resolving any issues. However, the restaurant, travel photography, and hotel seemed to operate independently. When I placed my order, it said I needed to book several days in advance, so I called before checking in. The attitude was good, but they kept telling me someone would contact me later, which created a slow information gap. The travel photographer added me on WeChat around 10:30 PM that evening, and the restaurant didn't add me. When I called to inquire, they asked for my room number, which I didn't have since I hadn't checked in yet. Upon arrival, the reception seemed a bit confused; I guess during the off-season, reservations aren't really necessary. There was also a tour group dining at the same time, with their guide using a megaphone to celebrate the festival, which truly gave it a 'community canteen' vibe in the literal sense."

"I stayed for two nights, and the room was beautiful and very comfortable. It was really convenient for visiting attractions like Detian Waterfall, Blue Cave Coffee, and Mingshi Pastoral. The breakfast was also rich and delicious. I especially want to commend the hotel's garden behind the building. After dinner in Chongzuo, there's usually nowhere else to go, but the hotel's garden is a hidden gem! You can swim, barbecue, and even watch movies on a giant screen. After a long day of exploring, it was so relaxing to unwind with a cold beer, some BBQ, and a great movie, while the kids played in the nearby children's area. It was truly delightful!"

"Hey Shanghainese folks, listen up! It's only a few hundred meters from the actual main entrance, but for lazy people, it might be a bit of a trek. You can drive there, and parking is 30 RMB. The guesthouse itself is really great – clean and relatively quiet! It's the tallest and largest guesthouse around, standing out from the ones on either side, so the views are unobstructed. During the National Day holiday, things were busy, but the landlady kept her cool and was super responsive to everything, which I really appreciated. Honestly, after looking around this trip, the service here was better than other so-called high-end guesthouses. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. There's parking right outside. I didn't have the landlady buy the 80 RMB tickets for me because she couldn't get them until 8:30 AM, and the scenic area opens at 7:30 AM. I bought my 110 RMB ticket online directly and was the first one through the gates on National Day. By 9 AM, when I was done and leaving, the peak crowds were just arriving. Then I went back to the guesthouse, took a shower, had some noodles, and relaxed watching a Vietnamese drama – pretty sweet!"

"Detian No. 61 B&B was a wonderful surprise during our trip to Detian Transnational Waterfall. Its location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the waterfall scenic area, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The guesthouse itself is peaceful and quiet, and the rooms are clean, tidy, and warmly decorated, making for a very comfortable stay. I especially want to commend the breakfast; although simple, it was delicious and featured local specialties, setting us up for an energetic day. The staff were also very warm, friendly, and provided meticulous service."

"The hotel's location is excellent, and they offer free bicycles, which is great for exploring the Mingshi Pastoral Complex. The scenery within the complex is indeed much better than outside, with a wonderful layered and expansive feel. I heard you even have to buy a ticket to enter if you're not staying at the hotel. The breakfast restaurant also has great views, and the breakfast selection is rich and delicious. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but the air conditioning, bedding, and other amenities are all good."
