Bora Bora Ibiza Malta Resort - Music Hotel - Adults Only 18 Plus
"A lovely beautiful hotel in the centre of Saint Pauls near the sea near lots of local shops supermarkets restaurants that service is really good. Staff are really friendly. Any problems you have they sort it out I would definitely recommend anyone that likes music. I like to be in the centre is a very clean and yeah, very good hotel."
DoubleTree by Hilton Malta
"We loved it here! From breakfast to everything! Would definitely recommend. Bus station is just behind the hotel"
Buccaneers Boutique Guest House
"Simply calling yourself a “boutique” is not enough to offer good value for money. The room I inherited is very small. Above all, it has no hot water. I took a cold shower. The possibility of using a hairdryer exists, but you had to give a prior deposit to have it in the room. Ignoring this, as well as the fact that there was no hot water, I didn't put anything down. I caught a cold and got sick. And I was relieved of 75 euros. Not reimbursed by health insurance."
Best Western Premier Malta
"Absolutely love this hotel. The staff was very welcoming, huge rooms and convenient location to get to the beach. It’s also close to the pick up area for island hopping to Gozo and Comino. The amenities are fully equipped, they have a nice gym and a free spa / sauna. Stunning view from their rooftop infinity pool, there’s also plenty of sun beds to sunbathe. They have a pool table and pool table at the lobby you can play for free."
Pebbles Resort
"Pebbles Resort has a lot of positives but also some areas for improvement. Location: The location is excellent. It’s situated near a bus stop where you can catch buses to almost every route in Malta. Buses are frequent and cost only €2 for a two-hour ride. The square is a short six-minute walk, offering plenty of food options. Beaches are just a quick bus ride away, and ferries are also easily accessible. Hotel Facilities: The hotel has two pools: an outdoor one and a warm indoor pool. The indoor pool is very comfortable, but the hot tub was disappointing—colder than the pool and with jets that only work for 30 seconds at a time, requiring constant button-pressing. The towels provided for pool use are old and could use an upgrade. The gym is small and often busy, so timing is key if you want to work out. Food: The food was surprisingly fresh and delicious. Unlike many hotel buffets, the staff at Pebbles Resort rotates trays frequently, ensuring the food is both fresh and appealing. However, the buffet and à la carte menus are separate, which was disappointing. I couldn’t try items like cheesecake or creamed chicken from the buffet during à la carte dining. Rooms: The room itself was nice, with some standout features like the television built into the mirror. The balcony was a good size, but my stay was marred by a neighbor plucking cigarette ashes over their balcony instead of using the ashtray provided. Additionally, the refrigerator never got cold, which was inconvenient as there are no ice buckets in the rooms, forcing me to go to the bar for ice. Service: Service left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready. Despite being the only ones waiting, the staff couldn’t expedite the process, leaving my daughter to fall asleep on the lobby couch—a completely embarrassing experience. The hotel also lacks luggage carts and staff to assist with heavy luggage, which is especially frustrating when traveling with kids and a lot of bags. Conclusion: While Pebbles Resort offers a fantastic location, good food, and decent facilities, it falls short in service and attention to detail. Small improvements, like better towels, functional hot tubs, luggage assistance, and quicker room readiness, could elevate the experience significantly. Rating: 3.5/5"

"Everything was ok.The staff was helpful . No drinking water bottles in the rooms. AC didn't work as they switch it off at the end of September every year. Location is convenient"
HORIZON SUITES by the Sea
"Excellent! The best hotel I stayed in during this trip through 7-8 countries! The space was large, and the bedroom wasn't very noisy at night with the door closed (although the main door wasn't very soundproof, the interior doors were). The large refrigerator, washing machine, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and air conditioning (though a standard one, it had both heating and cooling functions) were all great. The stove was very hot, much more powerful than those in hotels with kitchens! There was also a free rooftop bath one day (although we weren't interested in that). Nothing was broken, the bathroom didn't leak, and there were charging ports near the beds that could hold iPads. Some rooms had universal sockets. Unlike many self-service hotels, this hotel didn't require you to leave your trash outside your room for collection… Although you had to replenish some necessities yourself, it was still better value than other hotels I've stayed in. The washing machine was in a small corner room opposite the balcony, without a dryer, but they provided an outdoor clothes rack. If you want to buy groceries and cook, there's a small supermarket a few steps away, and a larger supermarket, an Asian supermarket, and a fruit and vegetable shop within 300 meters. The owner was very welcoming, coming to the room to arrange a time to meet you and explaining everything, even giving us free chocolate and wine! The biggest drawback might be that you have to take a taxi to get to famous tourist attractions? Note: Check-out time at the hotel is 10 AM, unlike most others!"
Primera Hotel
"Great location if you want to be based in Bugibba, its right by the main square and the seafront. Handy location to access Gozo, Rabat and St Julian’s but a little tedious to get to and from Valletta. Friendly staff all round. Rooms are spacious and the balcony is nice but quite a squeeze for multiple people. Did experience a power cut, a couple bugs in the room and the cleaner entered my room before I had checked out (around an hour before checkout time) but these are minor details considering the price. The “luggage storage” is just leaving your bags in the open near reception and hoping no one takes them - not the best for anxious tourists. Overall pretty decent value for a private room compared to hostels."
