"We visited Lake Garda with 9 other friends for a week of walking and sightseeing and stayed at Hotel Merano on a half board basis. All rooms for our party offered lake views with beautiful views from the balcony. The hotel rooms were adequately maintained and furnished and provided a comfortable environment for sleeping. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous and should accommodate most tastes. We had 4 course meals each evening which were excellent and very filling. The bar facilities at the hotel were excellent and well priced. The staff were very attentive and provided excellent service. We did not have our own transport but were able to travel to Malcesine and Garda by bus and then pick up ferries etc. There were plenty of walks locally or using the bus. The private beach area and jetty across the road were very convenient as was swimming in the Lake itself We would definitely return another time"

"We have just finished a week’s holiday at this fantastic hotel. It is right by the lake in a relatively quiet resort on Lake Garda, but within easy reach of Malcesine by bus or taxi. You can get ferries from here around the lake. The room was excellent, fully air conditioned, clean, spacious and comfortable. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we would like to particularly thank Adriella, Angelica, Khadim, Stephanie, Lara and Marie Sol who all looked after us so well. The restaurant on the top floor has lovely views of the lake if you are half board. We did B&B, the breakfast buffet served in Cafe Peler, had everything you could possibly want and was very tasty. We managed to sit on the terrace right by the lake on many mornings. Lunch is served in Cafe Peler and we can recommend the local wine. There are plenty of loungers by the lake, with beach access to be able to swim in the lovely clear waters (you might want some shoes to get in as they are pebble beaches). Whilst we did not use it there is a lovely indoor pool and spa facilities. All in all a great week and definitely one to recommend."

"It was a good stay. There was an absolute mislead in the parking process. Apparently they are reserved spots and if you come later in a day you have to park outside. This was definitely not explained or highlighted. The hotel itself is very clean and has all the basic necessities. The bar nearby with live music was a definite bonus!"
