Our all-suite hotel is near the intersection of I-35 and US 30, surrounded by restaurants. Iowa State University and companies in the ISU Research Park are only three miles away. Several businesses including 3M, USDA, Barilla, and the National Animal Disease Center are within four miles. Enjoy our complimentary hot breakfast buffet and indoor pool.
"Excellent service. Was greeted right away when walked in the door. When asked for a later check out they were so accommodating. Very friendly staff. Hotel is very beautiful and family friendly. Highly recommend staying here."

GGuest UserThe room layout is very warm, the breakfast is delicious, the surrounding environment is elegant, the quietness of Ames is experienced, and the traffic is very convenient. It is nearly ten minutes walk from Iowa State University.

GGuest UserAs Iowa State alumni, the building made us feel like we were on campus. For an affordable rate, we enjoyed our stay more than the average hotel at a similar price point.
This hotel offers a pool, hot tub and jacuzzi. Even though the facilities seemed a bit dated, we felt they were clean and enjoyed them greatly.
The room was not so exciting but it seemed clean. I appreciated the lighting, including dimmers for night lights in the bedroom and bathroom.
We tried the IowaStater in-house restaurant for breakfast. If you’re looking for a Midwest breakfast with all of the staples, they served us a memorable omelet with some of the best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had.
All of the staff we met were kind and helpful.
I highly recommend this hotel if you want to be close to campus.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious with plenty of storage space. It was very clean. The staff was courteous and friendly. The breakfast area was well stocked with a good variety. We would stay there again.
