Hotels with Breakfast in Maribor

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time during our stay at Fani & Rozi Bed and Breakfast. Situated at one of the most scenic places in Maribor - old town district Lent - and overlooking the beautiful Drava river, the place is boasting a wealth of charm and character while also offering all necessary amenities for the modern traveller. The rooms have been recently renovated and effectively combine modern and traditional styles making them an extremely pleasant place to stay. Our children loved the fact that the place was so near to the river which is full of floating white swans and ducks. All Maribor's main attractions can be conveniently reached on foot and the hosts were extremely helpful in offering 'insider tips' for our explorations of the town. Finally, I'd definitely recommend Fani&Rozi B&B for all travellers who are (like myself) bored of mainstream tourist options and look for more genuine travel experiences. To this end, don't forget to ask the hosts about the history of the beautiful building!

Very good, it seems like a small hotel door face, in fact, the room is very clean and tidy, a family of three, you can sleep on the sofa, really do not need an extra bed to fill the room, will go to live next time

The apartment is located in the old town, close to the world's oldest vines, and the surrounding scenery is charming. There are local wine shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The apartment itself is in a 19th century building, retro. The rooms inside have been modernized and very comfortable. The furniture is pure solid wood and has no smell; the air conditioning and bathroom are international brands; the mattress is particularly comfortable and sleeps very well. The structure of one bedroom and one living room, with a kitchen, and a public free washing machine, is much more comprehensive than the general hotel facilities.

Showing its age in the rooms and carpets (lifts u/s for almost entire stay if 5 days) Booked half board, good for 2-3 days and after that becomes repetitive, but that’s my gripe only

I chose it because it is an inn along the river, which is a highlight of the city. Enjoy the sunset from the bridge in front of you. Standing leisurely along the river, within a 3-minute walk to the wine museum and tasting shops. It was a good inn with the best location, clean and staff 々 atmosphere. I think it would be better if there was a room facing the river.

I arrived a couple of hours before check in time, but was allowed to check in early and also the friendly receptionist upgraded me to a better room. So first impression was good. The room was very spacious with a view over the city. Breakfast was excellent, I particularly enjoyed the good selection of fresh fruit. Location is a short walk to the bus and train stations and also close to historic centre.
