Excellent Stay with Outstanding Staff Support We stayed one night at Del Rio in Iloilo and it turned out to be a memorable experience, thanks mainly to the incredibly caring and professional Front Office staff. During our stay, I suddenly experienced a massive abdominal pain . The FO team was amazing — they immediately assisted me, provided painkillers, prepared a hot compress, and even called a medic to ensure I received proper treatment. Their genuine concern and quick action really made us feel well taken care of. I can’t thank them enough for going above and beyond. The breakfast the next morning was incredible, with a wide variety of choices ranging from delicious local Iloilo dishes to continental options. Everything was fresh and tasty — definitely one of the highlights of our stay. We also loved having direct access to the Esplanade, which made for a perfect morning run with beautiful views. The only downside was that the pool was not operating during our visit. Overall, despite the short stay, Del Rio left a very positive impression because of its helpful staff and great breakfast. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Iloilo. Highly recommended!

Initiating with the positive aspects: - The breakfast was exceptional, scoring a perfect 10/10. The restaurant offered an excellent range of food options, maintained a clean environment, and had courteous staff. - The hotel is situated within a shopping mall, though it is not of significant size. The ground floor houses a large supermarket, and the second floor features a coffee shop and multiple fast food establishments. While the hotel is located in the city center, there are limited activities available nearby. The condition of the appliances, furniture, and general maintenance throughout the hotel is subpar, with the exception of the restaurant. Rooms are in need of significant improvements, including gum. The hotel's cleaning standards could be enhanced. Additionally, it is necessary to wear gloves after changing bed linens and towels to throw the trashbin. I have not observed any hotel that adheres to strict cleaning protocols.

Our room was even more impressive — modern, spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, the linens smelled fresh, and the room offered a stunning view that made every morning feel special. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, always ensuring the room remained tidy and fully stocked. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member we encountered was polite, attentive, and always willing to help. Whether it was assisting with our luggage, giving recommendations for nearby attractions, or responding quickly to requests, the service consistently went above and beyond. It’s rare to find a hotel where every employee genuinely seems to care about the guests’ experience. The amenities were also outstanding. The swimming pool area was relaxing and beautifully maintained, perfect for both families and couples. The hotel’s restaurant served delicious food with a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The breakfast buffet in particular was excellent, offering both local and international dishes that were fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere throughout the property was peaceful, relaxing, and ideal for a much-needed getaway. The location of the hotel was another major advantage. It was conveniently situated near popular tourist spots, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a quiet and comfortable retreat at the end of the day. Overall, our stay was truly memorable, and I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Everything — from the cleanliness and facilities to the outstanding hospitality — was top-notch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, and exceptional service. We will definitely be returning in the future and are already looking forward to our next stay.

I guess, the best thing about it is the location. The staff, they are all kind, attentive and alert when requested. It is just that the unit needs maintenance in terms of removing cockroach and smell in toilet. Other than those 2, this is the best transit hotel when your plane lands in awkward time. The staff are quick to resolve the issue so thank you very much for that.

Ideal location, however i encountered a problem with the water supply. I’m about to take a shower before i check out before 10am and there’s a water outages for some reason.

First time at Citadines Iloilo. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and the location is top-tier — right in the heart of downtown Iloilo. The resto-bar on the second floor is great, and the staff there showed the kind of warm Ilonggo hospitality we’re all proud of. I commend the step to help the environment. Their is a refiling jar of water inside the room, DBest! But since this was my first stay, there were a few things I really noticed: 1. I booked specifically requesting a single bed. I was given a room with two beds instead. 2. I also requested a quiet room, yet I was placed on the same floor as the swimming pool — and that night there was a big party going on until 9 PM. 3. I didn’t expect a fancy view since I booked a lower-priced room, but natural light is a basic comfort. Unfortunately, I couldn’t even open my curtains because people outside, from the pool, could directly see into my room. 4. And the worst part: while I was resting, another guest opened my room with their key card. Absolutely not okay. I understand the hotel was fully booked, but that shouldn’t be used as an excuse. Front desk staff should still be trained to handle guest requests properly and ensure room safety — especially safety. Should a guest really have to pray the hotel isn’t full just to avoid these issues? Despite everything, I’m willing to give them another try. I know they can do better — and I hope the next stay reflects the level of service Citadines is known for.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel with good services and amenities. We had a great time spent in the hotel with my whoe family.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. The location is very convenient just near the mall, so everything we needed was within easy reach. The amenities were good and added to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Overall, a nice place to stay and definitely recommended.

The room is great. Location is near SM City Iloilo, walking distance. Near the diversion road, didn’t expect that our room has a refrigerator, microwave, sink and even a dining table. Just like a pad. We stayed at Bangkok room, just so know the free wifi can’t reach the room though.

The staff was friendly and helpful since yung isang room is may issue sa AC so I asked her to check and she did pero same padin so she decided so transfer my friend to another room. The location is nice malapit sa mall but about the cleanliness dati okay sya since always kami nag stay dito maybe kulang na sila sa staff that's why other area's is hindi okay but it's a good stay.
