Hotels in Thoddoo
Belena Maldives is a boutique guesthouse located on the beautiful local island of Thoddoo, just a one-hour speedboat ride from Velana International Airport. With 11 elegantly designed rooms surrounded by lush tropical greenery, Belena offers a peaceful island escape that blends comfort, style, and warm Maldivian hospitality. Guests enjoy modern amenities including air-conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, daily breakfast, and complimentary bicycle use to explore the island. Whether you're a couple seeking a romantic getaway or a small group looking for an authentic local experience, Belena Maldives is the ideal choice for a relaxing stay just minutes from the island’s stunning white-sand beach.
"A very nice, new hotel with a small pool, Maldivian-style rooms, stylish renovations, new showers and fixtures, cozy grounds, and helpful staff who will pick you up, drop you off, and bring you back. Thoddoo Island is small, but everything is close by, including cafes and shops. We went for dinner to Seli-Poeli, 5 minutes from the hotel. The hotel breakfasts are European-style: sandwiches, eggs, toast, beans, steamed vegetables, sausages, tea, coffee, local roti flatbread, tuna with coconut, yogurt, pineapple, and watermelon. Nothing fancy, but you won't go hungry."
