"A nice hotel, located a bit far from the sunset beach. But there's a beach with blacktip sharks nearby; the dinners are delicious. The transfer was a bit of a hassle due to bad weather; we had to leave a day early. Although other boats departed the next day without any issues. A special note: shoes must be left at the bottom of the stairs; that's tradition."

"We stayed in October 2025. We liked the guesthouse for its bright, clean entrance area and the friendly staff. The manager is always on hand and courteous. The establishment has seven rooms, all cozy, quiet, and family-like. Each room has a table and chairs. There's a kitchenette with a microwave, stovetop, and 24-hour tea and coffee. The owner comes to the guesthouse several times a day to inquire about the guests' moods and needs. The beach towels are good. Upon arrival on the island, we were met at the port by an electric car and escorted back."

"Comfortable and welcoming hotel, the best memories are left! We are on holiday from 28.06-07.07, we were lucky with the weather +29. 10-12 minutes to the beach on foot, you can ride a bike. Breakfasts are fresh and tasty, lunches/dinners for an extra fee at will. The rooms are new and cozy. The pool is clean and warm, swimming is a pleasure! We definitely recommend and will come again! Many thanks to the hotel staff! 🩵"

"Due to renovations taking place near the hotel, the owner suggested we stay at the nearby hotel, which belongs to his brother. The hotel is called Lagoon Villa. It's a wonderful hotel, with all the amenities in the room, always clean linens and towels. Beach towels are also provided. Breakfast is rather meager and monotonous, with no choice. Everything else is excellent!"

"The hotel is new, with high-quality renovations in the room, including plumbing and electronics. However, there were no adapters for the outlets. But the hotel renovations weren't fully completed. The staff was friendly and listened to our requests. The manager is very involved in the hotel's operations and attentive. Cons: 1) the breakfasts lack variety, 2) the towels aren't washed well, which makes them smelly, 3) the room cleaning wasn't thorough; they simply swept the floor, changed the towels, and made the bed. In other words, the bathroom and plumbing weren't cleaned. I also noticed that my manicure set was touched during cleaning."

"I can only highly recommend this guesthouse. After a long and tiring travelling we were greeted with coconuts. Exactly what we needed. Rooms were clean and tidied every day, towels exchanged regularly. Also beach towels were provided. Excellent service but much more than that. We spent 13 days there and the team won our hearts. They were very friendly, communicative, told us a lot about life in Thoddoo. Hoping to return in the future."

"The hotel is located practically in the center of the island. You have to walk to all the beaches, but it's not a long walk. The island itself is dusty, with construction going on everywhere. After a walk, you come back to the hotel with dust in your nose. The beaches are beautiful, like everywhere in the Maldives. Breakfast at the hotel consisted of scrambled eggs and toast, with papaya being the main fruit."
