Each room has a private open-air hot spring, mini bar soft drinking water for free, and a variety of teas and capsule coffee. There is a reading room and lounge area in the hotel garden, free drinks and desserts. I went to the reading room for a walk and was ready to leave. The waiter was afraid that I didn't know I could order the order and chased me to the door and asked if I needed a drink. For dinner, I was arranged in a tree house-like glass room. After the meal, I returned to the room and the bed was laid out, providing different embroidered bedding according to the season. It is worth mentioning that the tea and teapot prepared at night are different from the daytime. Even prepared fruit and supper, pastries in the steamer, set the time, you have to press the start. There are free drinks in the morning and evening, with juice, milk, tea and various alcohols. If you are interested, you can also observe the stars through telescopes or the southern Alps not far away. This time, the season was a bit embarrassing, and there was some snow left in the courtyard. If you come in late winter or midsummer, it must be very beautiful. What impressed me most was the excellent breakfast and dinner! I highly recommend staying at this onsen hotel when visiting Gunma. The main dish for dinner was sukiyaki, which was delicious, and each dish was prepared with great care. The food here is really tasty! This time, I stayed in a room with a private open-air onsen bath. The onsen quality here is very high; the spring water isn't heated, allowing you to soak while enjoying the view of Mount Tanigawa. The service was impeccable in every detail, including specially provided pajamas and decaffeinated roasted tea served at night. The next morning, you can also enjoy complimentary coffee while admiring Mount Tanigawa again.

Very recommended, the host is very helpful. There is breakfast and dinner similar to fine dining, delicious food every meal. The room is clean with an onsen as well. And the atmosphere is very good If you come back around here Will stay here again If you come a month with snow, it should be very good.

A newly built modern hotel that comes with a private onsen in your balcony. Dinner with fusion which is not the usual for ryokan stays. You get to choose between Japanese or Western cuisine which we opt for Japanese and it was delicious! it's just a 6mins walk down to the Supermarket. Will definitely come back some day again!

It's a bathing place, but there is no shower room in the room, so you have to go to the public bath to take a bath. The service is also average, it seems polite, but the corridor is carpeted, and no one is willing to help you with your luggage when you check out, so you can only pull a suitcase cart back to the room to take your luggage.

I used this to ride from the first train of Shiraneyama ropeway. It is an inn that is relieved with the feeling of an old-fashioned inn. The room was just a good size but the refrigerator and toilet are shared. There was no yukata. The hot springs become smooth skin. Because it is lukewarm water, it does not warm up unless it enters more than 15 minutes slowly. There was an oil stove. There was a beetle in the room because it was in nature. There was a 7-Eleven in the car about 5 minutes.

Feel like home is an ancient ryokan hotel. But the inside looks clean and modern, the owner takes good care of it like a relative. There is a large public bath separate men and women. The room itself is spacious, not uncomfortable. If coming again, I will book here again. Recommended

This is my second time here, and it's close to Minakami Station, so it's perfect for a spontaneous solo trip to see the snow. The building is very spacious, but it's well-cleaned and a very clean inn. There are many foreign staff members, but they are well-trained and more friendly and polite than the average Japanese. The dinner and breakfast buffets are delicious, and the hot springs are very good, both in the private baths and the large public baths. I was worried that there would be a lot of foreign group tourists and that it would be noisy, but I got the impression that they were all well-mannered foreign tourists. I would like to come to this inn every year when it snows.
