- It offers luggage storage until any time we need which is very nice!
- The location is good too. It is just a 10-min walk to the station and also the airport bus.
- The interior design is amazing and it has a very beautiful ceiling.
- It also provides coffee machine which is lovely for us as a coffee lover!
- The building also has a lift if you have heavy luggage (like me).

GGuest UserThe hotel I booked on Ctrip is perfect and I am very satisfied with it. There is a pedestrian street right outside the door, with all kinds of exquisite shops and large supermarkets, suitable for all kinds of people. The only regret is that the bar on the top floor of the hotel is only open at night and cannot be entered at will. Even if you are a hotel customer, there is no saying that customers are God here. Consumption and money are more important.

CClaire MPapali was on the first floor of a very old building, so expect to walk up a few steps with your luggage, because there's no elevator ... But, the Signore who welcomed us was very friendly and even went downstairs - while I already could go into our room - to help my husband find a parking spot on the street nearby.
We had a very good night in a simple, but super clean and quite big room, comfy bed as well ... Bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels ...
The first picture I took in the morning after our night at Papali out from the balcony, the second was taken in the morning when we had our breakfast served kindly in the little dining area ...
Btw, Papali is located wonderfully - it's an easy walk to all the main sightseeing spots of Catania! I added some pictures of our evening walk ...
Summary: Papali is a great choice locationwise and if you do not want to spend too much, but still want to have a cozy night at a simple but friendly and nice place.

High ceilings, ample natural light, and comfortable furnishings made the stay enjoyable. The room was well-equipped with air conditioning, a mini-fridge, and a small workspace. Overall, a comfortable and updated interior within a historic building.

But I cannot understand why thereās never a plug beside the bed. People need to charge their phones.
The bathroom is ok but there is nothing to place the toiletries in the shower, so youāre forced to either bend over in a very small space either open the shower multiple times and make a mess.
The main issue is the breakfast. Itās the land of desolation and itās really a pity.
The croissants and the brioches are good, but regardless of the time of your arrival itās never refurnished.
No marmalades, 3 butters, 2 Nutellas, only one typeof cereal, no milk.
Everything is missing, it seems raided.
Why pay for an hotel breakfast if thereās less food that at home or any cafĆ©?
It could happen once, not constantly.

Appreciate the staff for helping to arrange a room for us where we do not have to change room as we join our tour group that started with a night stay at this hotel.
