Staying here felt like being welcomed into the home of a deeply cultured family. The décor is a beautiful, personal curation: art and personal book collection, vintage porcelain, silk cushions, and carefully chosen artworks. Nothing feels excessive or staged. Every object has intention behind it — a celadon vase here, a bronze figurine there — and yet the overall feeling is one of warmth and ease, not a museum. The rooms are serene, the linens impeccable, and the little touches — embroidered pillow slips, a hand-painted watercolour above the bed — speak of a host who genuinely cares. The lady boss is a gracious and soft spoken lady. She offers just the right amount of company and showed us the warmth of Gongtan residents through her actions and food. This is not just a place to sleep. It is a place that stays with you.

The service was excellent, and the owner was very responsible. Definitely worth coming back to. Facilities: Relatively new and stylish. Environment: Very quiet at night. We had a wonderful stay at Ancient Town Manshi.Xiaoqi B&B. Perfect location!! The highlight of our experience was definitely the warm hospitality from the lovely young couple who run the place—they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We booked both the family room and the 3-bedroom suite, and were very pleased with the comfort and space. The balconies offered absolutely stunning views, making it a perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. The shower facilities were also excellent—modern, clean, and very enjoyable hot shower after a day out. One thoughtful touch that really stood out was the host personally picking us up from the carpark and guiding us to the accommodation, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. They also kindly provided breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. And of course, the adorable cats around the property added an extra charm to the stay! Overall, we highly recommend this B&B for its beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and exceptional hospitality. We would gladly return again.

A trip to Chongqing is incomplete without a stay at Gongtan Ancient Town's Bashi Inn which is located at the bank of the calm Wujiang River facing the forested mountain. The Inn is conveniently situated opposite the Wujiang Cruise Centre. We had 2 blissful nights and adore the scenic view from our balcony. The room is clean and very comfortable. Our host, Ms Ran Ran, is a very warm and helpful person who had gone the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. She helped arrange all our transportation needs: arriving from Pengshui and departure from Gongtan.

I forgot to take a picture of the room. It is simple and clean, with a rustic feel. The floor creaks occasionally, which is very special. The river view is really comfortable. It is suitable for sitting on the small balcony and doing nothing. At night, the night watchman will shout ”Be careful of the candles” from outside. The boss and his wife are very enthusiastic, and the boss is very talkative and honest. They make their own pepper fish, and the fish is freshly caught. I will come here to relax next time.

The environment is good, it should be the largest store in the town, divided into several courtyards. The waiter at the reception was also good. But the bad review was because when I checked out, the waiter had a poor service attitude and was speechless. I waited for a long time for check-out. I went to chat with the waiter next to me after checking out. The ID card did not return me. The key was also neurotic. Ask me: ”You can go, don't stand here and wait”. I was so angry, I said: ”Your ID card is not given to me, otherwise I stand here and wait for what, look at you?” . There is such a waiter in this year, shouldn't you ask the guests: ”What else do you need to help you, or let the guests rest next to you?”

The boss is very good, and also helped us book the cruise tickets, book in advance and book more discounts, and book on the same day is cheaper than buying it yourself, thank you. The overall ancient town of Yantan was relocated and restored. It was well built. The houses are all wooden structures. Don't compare with the hotel here. The mood is the mood. The colors are bright and beautiful, and it is super beautiful with the green river water. And the lady at the front desk is really super gentle and nice.

The log furniture, hand-woven fabrics and warm yellow lights in the room reveal the owner's intentions in the details. I love the top two rooms with their respective terraces. In the morning, I watch the mist, and at night, I listen to the river and the quietness of isolation. **Master: Protector of the local culture with feelings** Tian Boss is a gentle middle-aged man, formerly an art teacher, tired of the world and hidden in his old house to live a comfortable life. Talking can feel his deep feelings for the ancient town of Yantan, and his own life. Of course, there are also future plans for your own preface. You can't help but admire it, so you want to participate here. The boss's wife is also a teacher and has never left here. She made a pot of local eagle tea for us, talked to you about the history and humanities of the ancient town, and there will be neighbors to chat at night, all of which reveal the simplicity and beauty of the place. Listening to them talk about the various things they have paid to restore this old house, this respect for culture and inheritance has made the accommodation experience a bit more temperature. **Postscript:** If you are tired of the same hotel, you may as well come here to stay. Navigation Inn drives directly to the side of the road on the back uphill, you can park, it is very convenient. There are many rooms in the inn and the price is reasonable. The location is excellent, you can travel to the entrance of the ticket inspection of Taohuayuan. Finally came back and took a 2 yuan battery car. The ancient city of Zhangzhou is an antique building. Because I wanted to rush to the next stop, I didn't stay overnight, so I checked out and left.
