Guest UserJust checked out of this hotel and couldn't wait to share my experience! [Grinning face] As a newly renovated hotel, I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I stepped into the lobby. It perfectly embodies a 'New Chinese Aesthetic' with meticulous attention to detail everywhere.
The hotel's overall design is incredibly tasteful, blending New Chinese style with modern simplicity. The public areas are spacious and bright, with art pieces and greenery perfectly placed to create an elegant yet cozy atmosphere. The front desk staff's smiles and efficient, professional service instantly put me at ease. The room itself was quiet and comfortable, freshly renovated with no strange odors, and the details were spot on. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. Although it was a bleak winter scene outside the window, the room was warm and spring-like, with soft lighting and a well-thought-out layout, making for a truly relaxing and pleasant stay.
Then there's the tranquil beauty of the Yalu River in winter – I had a river view room, and the vista was excellent. Even though it was winter, with bare trees on both banks and a quiet, desolate landscape, it only highlighted the clear and deep beauty of the Yalu River. Under the winter sun, it shimmered with a cool, serene glow, creating a unique sense of calm and openness.
But what truly touched and delighted me was the thoughtful 'souvenir' the hotel prepared. It wasn't the usual candy or simple stationery, but a bone china plate featuring illustrations of the Yalu River Broken Bridge and the scenery of North Korea across the river. It was full of local character and historical significance – a keepsake I could take home. This level of thoughtfulness goes beyond simple accommodation; it reflects the hotel's respect for guests' feelings and local culture, making it feel truly precious. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area; I'm sure you'll also find your own moving experience here.

Anonymous UserThe hotel facilities are brand new, and the staff are incredibly nice. Even the cleaning aunties warmly welcome you back next time! The bedding in the room was really comfortable – I hadn't been sleeping well due to an illness, but I slept soundly here. Highly recommend! They even gave me a souvenir when I checked out, and the fridge magnet is so pretty. If I go to Dandong again, this will definitely be my first choice. ❤️

Guest UserThe location is great, not far from the train station, Jinjiangshan Park, and the Yalu River. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious enough, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was quite rich, with everything you'd expect. The only minor drawback was that the fried rice was unsalted. Overall, it was a pleasant trip.

banillatteLocation is great as it is just a short walk away from the broken bridge. There are also a lot of restaurants around the area. I could see North Korea from my room on the 5th floor too. While they did clean the room every day, there were actually quite a bit of webs at the window and it was quite gross. Hope they clean them up. Also really like that there was a laundry room. One annoying thing was that I had to bring my card to the counter to be activated every night I returned to the hotel.

Guest UserOur whole family went on a short trip during the May Day holiday and booked three rooms at this hotel, which I'd stayed at over ten years ago. The name changed from Andong Pavilion to Xin'an Dong. The rooms haven't changed much and are still clean and tidy. The hotel lobby and front desk are much smaller than before and don't feel as grand as they used to. The hygiene is still good. Since it was peak travel season, there were a lot of people, and the two elevators felt a bit crowded. Overall, it was pretty good.

Guest UserStaying at Tianyu'an Art Hotel in Dandong was a real gem! The whole place is full of artistic flair, and the lobby's soft furnishings are just picture-perfect. It's only a few minutes' walk to the Yalu River Broken Bridge, and the panoramic river views from the floor-to-ceiling windows are incredibly soothing. The room was spotless, the bedding soft and skin-friendly, and the soundproofing excellent. The front desk staff were gentle and attentive, making check-in super efficient. The amenities are comprehensive, and it's incredibly convenient for riverside activities and finding food. Overall, the experience was unbeatable – definitely my top choice for accommodation in Dandong.

The triangular hut is very novel. It is fully equipped and clean. The only drawback is that the water in the bathroom is slow and water accumulates easily.
The environment is very natural, there is a stream next to the room, and the water is very clear.
The only drawback is that the park has not yet been completed, the price is a bit high, and there are a lot of mosquitoes.
The service staff are very enthusiastic and kind. Although the breakfast is simple, it tastes good and is clean.

Guest UserDuring the Chinese New Year, I took my baby to ski a snow. The hotel is in the scenic area. It is a single-family villa on the mountainside. Below is the reservoir. The overall view is very good. It must be more beautiful in summer. But the construction time is a bit long, the room facilities are slightly old, especially the exterior wall tiles are loose and fall off a lot, just below the parking space, worried that the car was accidentally smashed 🤣. The service is basically the level of the village. We took the standard room chosen by the two of the children. It is a set of four rooms in a villa. Give me two keys, one open the door and one open the room. At night, I took the baby to the town to eat. As a result, the waiter called and said that the people who lived with him could not get in. When did we go back? It turned out that the waiter forgot to give another tenant the key to the door. After that, I actually blamed us for locking the door when we went out. I was really a lost word. It was obviously a problem caused by your mistakes, and I didn't want to run errands to help the tenant open the door. On the contrary, I complained about others without reason. It was selfish and rogue, hey! From Shenyang, the overall road conditions are good, but when the snow is small, you must drive more carefully. There is a tail at the traffic lights at the intersection of the town. During the Chinese New Year, there is no meal in the visitor center, and you need to go to several nearby towns. The vertical height of the cable car in the scenic spot is not small, the old-fashioned open hanging orchid, a little worried about safety, and need to be charged separately (not included in the snow ticket). Because from Beijing to Shenyang, I brought the whole set of skis for the child, I brought shoes without snowboard, rented a double board in the snow field, a bit old, no edge, down the mountain is completely no spectrum.

Guest UserThe hotel gave me a room with great view on the 22nd floor. Reception staff didn't speak much English but they tried hard to help by using translation software when needed. Breakfast had a lot of choice; the Chinese breakfast options were more and actually better than Western options, but very worth it to get breakfast here. The location is very convenient, super close to the train station and just a couple of blocks away from the broken bridge; the location makes it also very convenient to get didi cars quickly. Cleaning staff were amazing as well and very attentive to details.
I asked for late check-out and they were very accommodating as well.
