Across Ginkgo Street is Jinjiangshan Park, where you can climb the mountain to see the panoramic view. It takes about 17 or 18 minutes to walk from Broken Bridge. The hotel breakfast was okay, with a lot of variety, but the facilities were too old. The hair dryer in room 815 turned red and smoked as soon as the power was turned on, so I was too scared to use it.

The location is great - exactly across the road from the Yalu River Broken Bridge, and just a 12-minute walk from the train station. The hotel looks a bit dated from the outside and the lobby, but my room surprised me by feeling more modern than the outside. There is no mini refrigerator, but otherwise the room was well stocked, and the AC was effective. The check in/out staff were friendly and co-operative. My room was on the west side of the hotel, so no view of North Korea for me.
