"Absolutely amazing place to stay. Very clean and modern facilities inside (aircon and shower etc).
Location is also incredible, hillside and 15 minutes walk from the main district. Although one might find it tough going uphill, which is not my concern at all and just thinking about the view you wake up to? Absolutely worth it.
It is family ran business, I had my warm welcoming and nice breakfast prepared the other day. Couldn’t be more grateful. Worth every penny."

The staff and the owner were extremely kind and helpful. Their main priority is customer satisfaction. In a word: lovely. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kalemi 2 in Gjirokastër! The hotel itself is full of charm, beautifully combining traditional Albanian architecture with modern comfort. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, varied, and served with care in a lovely setting.
A small tip for travelers arriving by car: Google Maps can sometimes make mistakes when guiding you to the hotel, so it’s best to double-check the route or contact the reception for directions — the staff are very friendly and always ready to help.
Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Gjirokastër — cozy, authentic, and with great hospitality!

Hotel situado en el corazón del Gjirokastër antiguo.
Hicieron gratis una mejora de la habitación y me prestaron el cable de cargar teléfono que me había olvidado.
Las indicaciones de Google Maps para llegar son algo confusas, mejor preguntar al estar ya en parte antigua. Es un hotel muy conocido.
El personal es amable.
El desayuno no está listo a la hora, por lo que tuve que irme sin desayunar porque no había nada preparado.
Supongo que fue porque era un día con poca gente alojada y no se imaginaron que una huésped quisiera el desayuno nada más abrirse, teóricamente, el comedor.
Me fui sin desayunar y sin tomar café.

We had a beautiful stay at Denis’s house. Exellent service from arrival to we left. Joni was a great guide showing us the way to the house and also helping us in the evening when we were lost. Gjirokaster was one of our favorite places in Albania❤️we also had a very good breakfast in the morning.

Our room was perfectly decorated, the sleep was really nice and the breakfast was really good. Also the view from the bar and also from our room was marvelous, The staff is really helpful, they answered all our questions and their suggestions on what to do in the city were really helpful, If I come again in the city I would definitely choose this hotel!
