The Overseas Chinese Hotel, once one of Beijing's 'Top Ten Buildings,' underwent a renovation in 2021 and has been completely transformed. It's now elegant and sophisticated, with numerous artworks displayed in the lobby and public areas. I stayed here last year and was very impressed, so I chose to return for an exhibition at the art museum this time. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive, meeting my needs by upgrading my room and even offering a gift. From the moment I checked in, I felt a warm welcome. The heated pool isn't huge, but it's clean and uncrowded, making for a very pleasant swim. The hotel's location was also convenient for getting to Workers' Stadium for a game in the evening. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

I'm not sure whether to rate this hotel good or bad. Overall, the hotel is quite new, and the facilities are decent, though the bathtub is a bit small – it was a struggle for someone 180cm tall to fit in. From 7 PM to 11 PM, there were intermittent, inexplicable noises that were very disruptive. On the other hand, the service was quite warm, but here's where it gets funny. You'd say the service was good because the staff were very enthusiastic; they even gave me a twin room to put my luggage in first when my room wasn't ready, offered a box of tea to apologize for the noise, and helped carry my bags. But then, you'd say it was bad because they called to ask when I would check in after I'd already arrived, and called again to ask when I would check out after I'd already left. And while they apologized for the noise, it never actually improved. It's truly baffling.

This hotel is quite spacious and has a tranquil atmosphere. The guest rooms are generously sized and well-lit. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helpful; they immediately resolved an issue with the TV remote control in my room. When I scraped my ankle hiking, the front desk kindly provided a band-aid. The breakfast buffet was quite rich, with plenty of pastries, fruits, and coffee available. The freshly made hand-pulled noodles were particularly delicious. During the May Day holiday, the hotel organized a variety of activities for children, including lacquer fan painting and baking, which the kids clearly loved. The pool and hot spring bath on the basement level were at a comfortable temperature, perfect for relieving the day's fatigue. If I have the opportunity, I would definitely stay here again.

I appreciate how carefully the doorman handled my luggage, and he was very polite even when I left at 4 AM.

The hotel's location is convenient, right by the entrance, and it's quite lively around here.

The room offers expansive views, though the lighting is a bit dim and not particularly bright.

The hotel's tea bar has a fantastic ambiance; it's spacious, bright, and the tables and chairs are very comfortable. Afternoon tea is served quickly, and there's flexibility in what you can choose. Waiter Xiao Xue, employee number 100151, was incredibly friendly and attentive. Enjoying tea and conversation here was truly delightful.

The hotel had a great vibe for the May Day holiday. The environment was nice, and the large parking lot was perfect for those driving. The rooms were clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the service was excellent. We participated in a small activity, and my child loved the little gift they received.

The hotel is located in good area, more places to explore. Many options for food and shopping. The hotel management is very supportive in resolving the issue. The hotel is perfect.

I chose this hotel because of its room size. Got upgraded to a suite. Large room with technology and all amenities. The hotel provides 6 complimentary bottles of water for guest, the most I have ever seen. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast area is large with multiple food stations and good variety of dishes. The hotel is next to the #5 Metro station BaiShuiBa - convenient to go to Hefei railway stations and city attractions. 

The hotel is new and the construction is still going on to build the indoor pool and gym. It does not have a bar - maybe there are bars in the two restaurants inside the hotel. 

Look forward to stay here again. Hopefully all construction will be done by then.

I had a wonderful stay at the Century Jinyuan Grand Hotel Hefei North City. Duty Manager 6302 was on duty around the clock, always willing to help any guest in need. He was courteous and thorough. The front desk staff were all friendly and kind, and their check-in and check-out processes were prompt and seamless. The breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and nourishing, with exquisite porridge, rice, and dim sum, filling and satisfying. The rooms were elegantly furnished, the quilts and pillows comfortable, the windows clean, and the atmosphere peaceful and tranquil. They also provided a variety of amenities for every guest's convenience. I believe this hotel, with its excellent service and beautiful environment, is a truly excellent choice for travelers and highly recommended.
