Highly recommend Suzhou Shushan Shuxiang Shijia for families with kids! The tatami room we booked turned into a little playground for our baby. With three beds pushed together, we didn't have to worry about the little one rolling off, and there was plenty of space for three adults and two kids to sleep comfortably.

The hot springs were incredibly relaxing for both adults and children. Soaking in the various herbal pools left us feeling completely refreshed. The kids' water park was an absolute 'energy-burner' – our little one played there from afternoon until evening! The fish spa had them giggling non-stop as the tiny fish nibbled at their feet. Adults could take turns playing without getting tired. We're definitely planning to come back for a few more days in the crisp autumn weather to explore the Shushan plank road.

P.S. It's the season for Cuiguan pears right now! There are pear orchards nearby and stalls selling pears all along the road. Cuiguan pears are incredibly juicy and have a wonderfully sweet, refreshing taste. We even took a whole box home with us!

This hotel offers incredible value for money. I booked two rooms last minute for Chinese New Year, and the price was fantastic. I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and elegant the lobby was. You can tell the staff works hard to provide high-quality service and build a good reputation. They offer valet parking, complimentary snacks, and small gifts. Since I was traveling with a baby who needed to nap daily, they even allowed early check-in and late check-out. I had just come from a five-star hotel that cost four times as much, but honestly, I didn't feel any drop in quality because both the facilities and service far exceeded what I paid for. The only minor downsides were that the curtains weren't blackout enough – the curtain rod was set too far in, letting light leak from the top – and the soundproofing wasn't great.

If you are looking for a good hotel for a good price, this is the right place. 4 star hotel with 4 star service at a good price. The bed was comfortable and the room very big, with even a sofa and a small ''living room'' place. If you are in Suzhou for visiting the city center and the touristic spots, this hotel is  located too far from those, and even the subway station is not very close (800m), it took at least 30 minutes to reach the main city attractions.

When we first arrived at your hotel, the young man and the young lady at the front desk were very friendly and served us tea, helped us with our luggage, and pushed our wheelchairs, making us feel at home. The cultural atmosphere is everywhere in the store. The calligraphy and paintings on the wall and the books on the bookshelf make people immersed in it. The decoration of the guest rooms is unique and the rich cultural heritage makes people admire it! On the 4th floor where we stayed, the cleaner Ma Hongxiu was warm and thoughtful, meticulous, and made people feel comfortable. She deserves praise.

A little disappointed when we first arrived and the young male receptionist completely ignored me (probably because I'm a foreigner and they don't speak English) and waited for my husband to come over who is Chinese to check us in, despite me booking the room (and I do speak Chinese)

Nice little touches such as tea on arrival, fruit to the room and a gift bag of snacks when we left. Would recommend.

I stayed in the Tea Rhythm Twin Room. The hotel has a quiet environment and three floors. It is generally good. The room layout is relatively compact. The hygiene services are good in all aspects. The only thing is that the air conditioner in the room is noisy. I can only turn it off at night before going to bed. The breakfast is also very good. There are many kinds. I also had dinner in the evening. The dishes tasted very good. I will consider staying again. The hotel also undertakes wedding banquets. I looked at the menu

The room has a charming, antique feel with a distinctive incense aroma, creating a rich cultural atmosphere. There's even a calligraphy experience available in the room. The mattress is very comfortable, and everything is clean and hygienic, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was incredibly varied, and the pastries were particularly delicious. I also want to thank the hotel staff for providing me with an extra complimentary breakfast.

The front desk staff was lovely and upgraded my room for free. The room had voice control, was simple yet refreshing, and very clean. Although it's close to the road and can be a bit noisy with the window open, the double-paned windows block out a lot of sound when closed. The hotel's downtown location is very convenient for getting around, and there are many restaurants nearby. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance!

The price is right, breakfast is included, it is close to the subway entrance, there are free fruits when you check in, and there is free Coke and Sprite in the refrigerator. It is better than staying in a loft apar**ent by the river. Several families have to stay in hotels when they travel. The loft apar**ent has one room per floor, and you have to scan your face when you check in. There is no breakfast.

Located near Hangzhou Dong(East) Station. Hotel looks clean and nice. But receptionist is not pro-active enough. Did not remind of the hotel breakfast available. Told me my parcel was missing when i arrived but informed that it could have been stored in another area which they retrieved it within minutes, they could have checked beforehand. Wifi is unavailable to those without a China mobile number.

The flower arrangements in the lobby are beautiful, and the five-spice welcome gift is a unique touch. They also have freshly ground coffee and fruit tea. The front desk staff were attentive and processed check-in quickly. They were also very responsive to any needs I had. The location is super convenient, close to the subway station. Deji Plaza is right across the street, where you can check out the famous 'internet-famous' restrooms and the art museum.

Enjoyed the stay! The room was great. It was a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier.

My room was facing the back on a higher level and I could hear a bit of noise from the traffic during the day, but they subsided during the night.

Lots of food options, where a few always had long queues.

A few tourist attractions are within a 30-min walk.
