A good hotel in a good location near the subway and a street with restaurants. The rooms are a good size and have a tea setting. 

The noodle restaurant on the second floor is very good and popular with locals.

This was my first time staying in Shushan Village. The hotel is right at the entrance to the scenic area. There aren't many parking spaces, both above and below ground, so you might have to search during holidays, but on regular days it should be very convenient and free. Just scan the hotel's QR code before exiting the gate. The underground parking lot has direct elevator access to the lobby.

The staff were very friendly, and during check-in, they tried their best to accommodate our room requests. The academy butler also promptly sent important notices to guests via WeChat. The hotel's ground-floor restaurant does good business, and the set menus are affordably priced. A set for two is definitely enough for three people. However, on holidays, it gets crowded, and seating can be an issue, so it's best to go early.

Across from the hotel is Shushan Park, which is more of a natural, ecological forest. We followed the crowds to the wooden boardwalk, passing various snack stalls along the way. The pear orchards were beautiful, though we couldn't go inside. There's tea in spring, bayberries in summer, and pears in autumn, so it's worth visiting at different times of the year.

We came specifically for the hotel's 12 hot springs. I guess not all of them were open during the Qingming Festival. Although there were many tourists, not many people were using the hot springs in the afternoon. During holidays, they're open from 13:00-23:00, which is great for crowd control. There was also ginger tea available in the hot spring area. Overall, it offered good value for money and the ambiance was very charming. On the day of our check-in, we even received snacks and a small gift!

This hotel offers incredible value for money. I booked two rooms last minute for Chinese New Year, and the price was fantastic. I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and elegant the lobby was. You can tell the staff works hard to provide high-quality service and build a good reputation. They offer valet parking, complimentary snacks, and small gifts. Since I was traveling with a baby who needed to nap daily, they even allowed early check-in and late check-out. I had just come from a five-star hotel that cost four times as much, but honestly, I didn't feel any drop in quality because both the facilities and service far exceeded what I paid for. The only minor downsides were that the curtains weren't blackout enough – the curtain rod was set too far in, letting light leak from the top – and the soundproofing wasn't great.

When we first arrived at your hotel, the young man and the young lady at the front desk were very friendly and served us tea, helped us with our luggage, and pushed our wheelchairs, making us feel at home. The cultural atmosphere is everywhere in the store. The calligraphy and paintings on the wall and the books on the bookshelf make people immersed in it. The decoration of the guest rooms is unique and the rich cultural heritage makes people admire it! On the 4th floor where we stayed, the cleaner Ma Hongxiu was warm and thoughtful, meticulous, and made people feel comfortable. She deserves praise.

If you are looking for a good hotel for a good price, this is the right place. 4 star hotel with 4 star service at a good price. The bed was comfortable and the room very big, with even a sofa and a small ''living room'' place. If you are in Suzhou for visiting the city center and the touristic spots, this hotel is  located too far from those, and even the subway station is not very close (800m), it took at least 30 minutes to reach the main city attractions.

I stayed in the Tea Rhythm Twin Room. The hotel has a quiet environment and three floors. It is generally good. The room layout is relatively compact. The hygiene services are good in all aspects. The only thing is that the air conditioner in the room is noisy. I can only turn it off at night before going to bed. The breakfast is also very good. There are many kinds. I also had dinner in the evening. The dishes tasted very good. I will consider staying again. The hotel also undertakes wedding banquets. I looked at the menu

Staying at the Hangzhou Shuxiang Shijia Hotel with my parents was the best decision of our trip! The hotel's impeccable care for older guests made our whole family feel incredibly comfortable and at ease. From the moment we checked in, the staff were warm and proactive. Noticing my parents were older, they deliberately slowed their speech and answered questions patiently. This respect and consideration made my parents feel truly cared for.

The details in the room particularly touched us! The anti-slip shower stool, specifically prepared for older guests, greatly reduced safety concerns during bathing, and this thoughtfulness gave us, as their children, immense peace of mind. After a day of sightseeing, the provided traditional Chinese medicine foot bath bucket was a brilliant touch. My parents soaked their feet, relieving fatigue and promoting better sleep, and they both raved, 'This is wonderful!'

The hotel has an elegant, traditional Chinese style, and there's a small park nearby, perfect for my parents to stroll or relax. Unlike hotels in bustling downtown areas, it's very quiet, ensuring excellent rest quality. The hotel's location is superb; it's very convenient to get to major attractions like West Lake and Hefang Street, whether by taxi or subway, saving my parents from long, tiring journeys.

When traveling with parents, comfort and safety in accommodation are paramount. The genuine details in Shuxiang Shijia Hotel's elderly-friendly services far exceeded our expectations. It's not just a hotel; it's more like a tranquil haven where older guests can rest assured. I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Hangzhou with their parents or family; it will definitely make your filial journey even more perfect!

Overall, the room was acceptable. However, there are a few things to watch out for. The bathroom isn't a wet/dry separation design; the shower and toilet are in the same area, and the overhead shower had very weak water pressure. Despite being designated as non-smoking, the trash can clearly showed cigarette burn marks. The soundproofing was incredibly poor. I could distinctly hear not only conversations from the hallway but even other guests' phone navigation instructions, as if they were happening right inside my bathroom. Lastly, I strongly advise against using the hotel comb. It wasn't new; it looked visibly discolored from use (as shown in the picture) and had a distinct used smell.

The price is right, breakfast is included, it is close to the subway entrance, there are free fruits when you check in, and there is free Coke and Sprite in the refrigerator. It is better than staying in a loft apar**ent by the river. Several families have to stay in hotels when they travel. The loft apar**ent has one room per floor, and you have to scan your face when you check in. There is no breakfast.

The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is new, but the quilt is a bit thick, it would be better if it could be replaced with a thin spring and autumn quilt! Good sound insulation, mainly using two doors and windows to effectively isolate outdoor noise! ​​In addition, the hotel's special project, the midnight canteen is particularly good, convenient for late guests, and the breakfast is also good!

I stayed at this hotel 21 years ago when I visited Nanjing, and had a great experience back then. So, when I revisited Nanjing, I didn't bother researching other options and chose this one again. However, this stay was truly… indescribable. Has the hotel gone from aspiring to be a star-rated establishment to completely letting itself go and becoming a mere budget hotel? Everything, from the rooms to the service, was completely different from what I remembered.

Currently, the building is undergoing renovations with scaffolding on the outside. If you're checking in at night, it takes a bit of courage; the entire building feels like a construction site. There are no internal elevators, and the renovation work, with its constant banging and drilling, goes on all day long.

I highly recommend that the hotel mentions this on its booking page, otherwise, it's hard to avoid negative reviews.

The location is excellent and easy to find, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. It's very convenient for shopping in Xinjiekou or visiting Fuzi Temple and Laomendong.

The hotel environment is quiet and has a scholarly atmosphere, making you feel relaxed the moment you step in. The front desk staff were very friendly and checked me in quickly. They also proactively informed me that there are dining and coffee options right within the hotel.

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the view from the window was also good. I especially want to mention that there's a coffee shop on the first floor, which is very pleasant for an afternoon sit. They also have their own restaurant; the breakfast buffet offers a good variety, including local snacks. If you're too lazy to go out for dinner, you can just eat at the hotel – the food is delicious, and it's much more hassle-free than searching for places outside.

Overall, I felt the service here was attentive and the location convenient, making it suitable for families or business travelers. They even gave a small gift when checking out, which was a thoughtful touch. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I visit Nanjing.
