Our family of three booked a triple parent-child room. The room was spacious with an open view outside the window. We didn't hear any outside noise during our stay, so it was very quiet. The hotel's location is excellent, with a subway station, Starbucks, and KFC right downstairs, making it extremely convenient for getting around and dining. The hotel's breakfast buffet opens at 6:30 AM and offers both Chinese and Western options. The Chinese-style mini wontons and Suzhou-style noodles were delicious, and the Ding Sheng pastry was freshly steamed. The Western options were a bit limited, but generally sufficient. The hotel lobby on the first floor also sells various cultural and creative products from the Suzhou Museum, saving guests the trouble of going out to buy them, which is a nice touch. The restaurant on the second floor serves Aozhao noodles and Suzhou cuisine. We ordered a smoked fish plain noodle set, crab roe noodles, and celery and dried tofu, and even a bottle of yellow wine since it was cold. Everything tasted great, and the prices were moderate. The only minor drawback is that the hotel's decor feels a bit dated, and the room furniture is slightly old. It would be perfect if it were newer.

This hotel offers incredible value for money. I booked two rooms last minute for Chinese New Year, and the price was fantastic. I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and elegant the lobby was. You can tell the staff works hard to provide high-quality service and build a good reputation. They offer valet parking, complimentary snacks, and small gifts. Since I was traveling with a baby who needed to nap daily, they even allowed early check-in and late check-out. I had just come from a five-star hotel that cost four times as much, but honestly, I didn't feel any drop in quality because both the facilities and service far exceeded what I paid for. The only minor downsides were that the curtains weren't blackout enough – the curtain rod was set too far in, letting light leak from the top – and the soundproofing wasn't great.

This hotel has been around for a long time. I visited about a decade and a half ago, and back then, it felt very serene and secluded. However, I've noticed significant changes this time. It's clear they've kept up with the times, putting a lot of effort into various aspects like the environment, attention to detail, value-added services, and marketing. Overall, I found it to be pretty good value for money.

While the facilities aren't as new as those in recently built hotels, the rooms are completely free of any strange or musty smells, and the location is excellent. The hot spring pools are conveniently clustered together, making it perfect for families with children and seniors. My only slight disappointment was that the 'fish spa' pool didn't actually have any fish. The front desk staff were all very warm and friendly, and the restaurant service was equally enthusiastic and attentive. I didn't get a chance to try any of the in-house activities, so I'm not sure what they offer.

Overall, I enjoyed staying at Scholars Hotel.  Rooms are good and clean, front desk staff members are friendly and helpful, breakfast are good too.  I also like the hot tea and eggs/snacks when I come back to hotel late and hungry, there are also something to eat, which is highly appreciated.

When we first arrived at your hotel, the young man and the young lady at the front desk were very friendly and served us tea, helped us with our luggage, and pushed our wheelchairs, making us feel at home. The cultural atmosphere is everywhere in the store. The calligraphy and paintings on the wall and the books on the bookshelf make people immersed in it. The decoration of the guest rooms is unique and the rich cultural heritage makes people admire it! On the 4th floor where we stayed, the cleaner Ma Hongxiu was warm and thoughtful, meticulous, and made people feel comfortable. She deserves praise.

I stayed in the Tea Rhythm Twin Room. The hotel has a quiet environment and three floors. It is generally good. The room layout is relatively compact. The hygiene services are good in all aspects. The only thing is that the air conditioner in the room is noisy. I can only turn it off at night before going to bed. The breakfast is also very good. There are many kinds. I also had dinner in the evening. The dishes tasted very good. I will consider staying again. The hotel also undertakes wedding banquets. I looked at the menu

The hotel is conveniently located with bus stops nearby, making it easy to get around. The room wasn't very spacious but had all the necessary amenities. On our first morning, the breakfast selection was very limited because a large group of students on a spring outing had checked in, and the hotel didn't replenish the food in a timely manner, which was a poor experience. Things were better the second day. A nice touch is that the hotel offers late-night snacks in the lobby.

I stayed here during the Qingming Festival. The hotel was relatively clean, and there's parking available in the backyard. This time, I booked a room with breakfast, which was served on the first floor of the Muzhou Inn next door. The breakfast selection was very limited and not tasty at all. The slim girl at the hotel's front desk had a terrible attitude. Not only was she slow, but she also assigned the same room to two different guests. Shortly after I checked in and dropped off my luggage, another guest opened my room with their key card, which completely shocked me! How forgetful and how flawed must their system be to make such a ridiculously stupid mistake? It truly scared me! I then rushed downstairs to the front desk to repeatedly confirm my booking and waited for a long time. Eventually, the front desk lady just told me that our check-in was fine, with no apology and no explanation – they just brushed it off like nothing happened! I wonder if employees at such a high-end hotel group are put to work without any training?

The price is right, breakfast is included, it is close to the subway entrance, there are free fruits when you check in, and there is free Coke and Sprite in the refrigerator. It is better than staying in a loft apar**ent by the river. Several families have to stay in hotels when they travel. The loft apar**ent has one room per floor, and you have to scan your face when you check in. There is no breakfast.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The property and rooms were extremely clean and well maintained, which made my experience very comfortable.

I initially made a mistake and only booked for three hours, but the front desk staff were very helpful. The front desk lady assisted me in extending my stay for the entire night and kindly offered me a good rate. She was very friendly and accommodating, which I truly appreciated.

The hotel's front desk staff was very friendly, warm, and attentive. There's free coffee available at the front desk for guests upon check-in. They also offer complimentary sachets, or you can even make your own – a really creative touch! Books are everywhere, creating a lovely intellectual atmosphere. The front desk has a map of Nanjing on display. The room is spacious, and the desk and chair are very comfortable. The location is convenient, about 400 meters from the subway, making travel easy. To get to the airport, just take Line 1 and transfer to S1; it's only 8 yuan and takes about an hour and ten minutes.

Enjoyed the stay! The room was great. It was a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier.

My room was facing the back on a higher level and I could hear a bit of noise from the traffic during the day, but they subsided during the night.

Lots of food options, where a few always had long queues.

A few tourist attractions are within a 30-min walk.
