It is just 3 minutes to the Mascot train station and they go have airport shuttle, very fast and mush cheaper than airport express. The spa is really nice and they have lounge for you to wait for check in or after check out. Lots of restaurants nearby the apartment. Very clean and very beautiful stay. Just 2 stop to the central station.

Like: location is perfect, lots of good restaurants around within walking distance.
Dislike: be aware of what street the room facing. It’s loud at night, ppl talk and laugh can hear very clearly.
Services: overall are good, I’ve been staying meriton many times in many locations, but this one Meriton on Kent was disappointing. I’ve asked baby amenities before my trip start but never got any as they promised they’ve been noted and prepared.
Special note: at the checked in they gave us a small room facing loud street and construction site( we booked a higher price of room and staying 5 nights)。
They had originally agreed to change our room. However, due to a communication gap among the staff the next day, it took quite a long time to resolve the misunderstanding before the room change was finally completed.
*the cafe next to Meriton has the best fresh squeeze juice ever, we bought it every morning! And the muffins are my babies favorite!

Overall, we were very satisfied. The front desk staff were friendly and even gave us a bottle of wine and a card for our anniversary. The room was spacious and bright, with a washing machine and dryer, and all the amenities were excellent. There was also plenty of living room and kitchen space. The location was very close to the railway, with many food options nearby. Although basic cleaning was only provided every four days, it was sufficient. The only drawback was that on our last two nights, we noticed cockroaches crawling out from the drain. I believe they came in because insecticide was placed in the wine, so hopefully, this can be addressed to avoid giving the impression of poor hygiene.

My husband and I had a wonderful three-night stay at Meriton Suites Chatswood in Sydney. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to both the train station and a large shopping mall, making it very convenient. Our room was spacious and bright, with a modern design, and came equipped with a complete kitchen and laundry facilities. This allowed us to cook and do laundry at our leisure, making it feel just like home. The high-floor view was stunning, especially at night overlooking the illuminated North Shore, which really enhanced the romantic atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs, making us feel very comfortable. We had three peaceful nights of rest, and during the day, we explored Chatswood's dining and entertainment options, returning to the hotel in the evenings for tranquility and comfort. This stay left a deep impression on us; it was both convenient and cozy, making it the most commendable accommodation choice during our trip to Sydney.

Location wise, it's close to North Sydney Station. Metro station, Victoria Cross, is a few more minutes down the road. Plus, easy access to various bus routes nearby.

Room is spacious in size. Kitchen has all essential utensils. Washer and dryer are placed behind a door to make a private utility section. Very neat and tidy.

Bedroom has a comfy bed and a wardrobe in good size.

Bathroom is in a good size too with a separate shower cubicle. The only downside is shower is very noisy. Guess there is a water pump behind the wall. Water pressure of the shower is sort of weak.

I specially requested for a quiet room on the high floor but was placed in mid level only. One of the days, the internet was down from morning till late afternoon. Found it inconvenient as I needed to work in the room.

Nonetheless, this hotel is of good value. I'd consider Meriton Suites again for my future Sydney trips.

Great stay. 3 mins walk to the train station. Nearby to grocers like Coles and Woolworths. While the stove might be near the bed, the smell is easily dispersed by the cooking hood. Remember to bring your own tooth brush and tooth paste. Also, bring extra footwear if going to the swimming pool or gym as it is at a different level. Highlight for this meriton branch is gym 24/7. Recommended for people who like to cook.

The check-in process was smooth and we were pleasantly surprised to be able to check in early. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain the hotel amenities clearly while also accommodating our requests. The hotel also had a really nice view at night, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

The hotel's location, in my opinion, is quite good. It's situated between the city center and the airport, with a 15-minute taxi ride to both. It's in a Chinese community, and there's a large supermarket just a 3-minute walk away that's open until midnight. However, the facilities are a bit old. The kitchenware is very incomplete, with only a few plates, bowls, and a steamer, but no frying pan. I bought one and left it there, hoping future guests can use it. The dishwasher is old, with worn-off button labels. The washing machine is a top-loader with a very dirty filter, which is a bit subpar compared to other apartments I've stayed in Australia. If you're not particular about facilities, it's tolerable. Service, though, is excellent; they provide anything you ask for. There's no cleaning service, but that's standard practice. The floor was sticky when we first arrived, but a quick call got it cleaned. We stayed in a street-facing room (facing the highway), which was very noisy and not soundproof, but it got plenty of sunlight.

I deliberated for a long time before booking this place because I saw some bad reviews online saying it was dirty. Here's my honest opinion:

**Hygiene:** It was very clean! I didn't see any bugs or dust at all. 👍

**Facilities:** It has everything you need: an oven, microwave, kettle (Westhouse brand), and a fridge.

**Environment:** The surroundings are amazing! It's right in Chinatown, and there's a big supermarket nearby, making it extremely convenient.

**Service:** As a hotel apartment, cleaning (and refilling toiletries) is done every 3 days. However, we stayed for 4 days, and our room was already quite messy, so we didn't want anyone to clean it, haha. (We brought all our own essentials, so we didn't need them to replenish anything).

**Note:** Make sure to bring your own slippers and toiletries. That should cover most things. It's also best to bring a disposable four-piece bedding set, as the duvet cover tends to slide around, and the duvet often slips out, haha.

Photo 2 is the view from the room.
Photo 3 shows the tram stop right outside, which goes directly to QVB and is very convenient (you can also walk there).

It is located downhill so it may not be very convenient for wheelchair users as we have to travel uphill a lot

But the staffs here are very helpful and kind. Special mention and heartfelt thanks to staff Dylan who helped us through our check in and change of room to have a better window view of the darling harbour and because of him, we have a pleasant and wonderful stay.

We were a party of three and found the two-bedroom apartments in Chatswood too expensive, so we opted for Meriton here instead. It's just as convenient location-wise and the facilities are great. The rooms are very spacious, and the price is relatively affordable. Having laundry and cooking facilities was a big plus. The only downside is that water consistently overflows from the shower, soaking the bath mat outside. I've encountered this issue in all the Meriton apartments I've stayed in recently. Since housekeeping only comes every three days, we didn't get a fresh mat during our stay.

The location is convenient, right in the city center, so it's easy to just go downstairs and walk around. Parking is A$45 per day; you need to get a card from the front desk first, and then you can use it for multiple entries.

The facilities are not as good as the Meriton on the Gold Coast; it might be a bit older now. Also, having only one bathroom for a two-bedroom apartment is inconvenient. The pool doesn't provide towels, so you have to bring your own down, then ask housekeeping to send some up.

However, the high-floor views are quite nice.

Excellent value! Great central location, super convenient for transport and shopping. The room had a fantastic view, the service was top-notch, and the facilities were complete and brand new.
