I booked this hotel for my boss's family who were returning from the US. My main reasons for choosing it were its convenient location and the availability of a triple room. However, the platform later informed me that the payment couldn't be processed and cancelled my booking, forcing me to rebook at a higher price.

Location convenient, easy to commute around the city.
Many restaurants around. Got a nice dumpling shop beside the 7-11 alley. 


Will definitely stay here again if visiting Taipei.

I booked this room because it was recommended by friends.... And I loved it! I have an affinity for bees, so I loved the decor. There is a snack room open during most of the day that you can simply go and help yourself to various retro ********* treats. Breakfast was freshly made and tasty, and the staff were warm and efficient. It is just a five minute walk from exit Y11 from Taipei Main Station, and about a 12-minute walk from Ningxia Night Market.

Location: Super central, just a 5-minute walk straight from Exit 1 of Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station on the Bannan Line. It's right next to Huashan 1914 Creative Park, and getting to Taipei Main Station, Daan District, or Ximending is incredibly quick.
Environment: The room was very clean. Although there was no window to the outside, there were many dehumidifiers in the hallway, so it didn't feel damp at all.
Service: From the front desk staff to the housekeeping team, everyone was very professional and met our various needs with a smile. The ground floor also offered complimentary vintage snacks (biscuits and candies) for guests.
Breakfast: Decent, though not outstanding. There wasn't a huge variety, but it was still filling.
Soundproofing: This was the only downside to my stay. I'm not sure if it was an issue with the walls or the door, but the soundproofing was very poor. While I couldn't hear specific activities from adjacent or opposite rooms, I could clearly hear people walking in the hallway late at night or staff cleaning in the morning. This would be very disruptive for light sleepers, so those who require a very quiet environment might want to be aware of this potential issue.

The room was spotless. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-maintained this older hotel was. The complimentary late-night snack and breakfast were both fantastic! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and even my kids slept soundly until morning!

The hygiene level is quite clean, but it's a pity that the swimming pool was closed for maintenance when I went there, and it was raining so the outdoor facilities were not open. The meals were varied but average. It was raining so the outdoor facilities were unavailable but there was no special introduction to the indoor facilities. For dinner, the hotpot soup was not enough and the meat was hard and tasteless. I asked for seasoning and soup and they said they would bring it to me. I waited for about 40 minutes but it still didn't come. I finally went to the counter to get it myself. The sound of clearing the dishes from the table was very loud early in the morning. But overall I still recommend friends to stay there. Great experience, hope it will be better next time

Dinner was the same for two consecutive nights. I wish at least one-third of the dinners were different. I would carefully consider this option if I were planning to stay for multiple consecutive nights next time.

The bed was also problematic; the person sleeping next to me kept being shaken awake when they turned over, making me think it was an earthquake.

The pillows were too flat and lacked support, causing me to get a stiff neck. I hope they can provide higher, more supportive pillows.

It turned out that the reservation was one berth and two meals and there was a free train station pick-up. After checking in, I found that there was afternoon tea with boiled wild vegetables and buffet instant noodles and tea eggs. The food was very rich and healthy. The dinner buffet had Haagen-Dazs ice cream and beer and other drinks. Snacks and drinks in the room are also free.
The Butterfly Valley has the main trail, the roundabout trail and the roundabout trail. It takes about three hours to walk all of them. Most of them are not difficult to walk. The last 250 meters of the roundabout need to be cut down to the valley. It will be better to have a trekking pole.
