Gooderson Kloppenheim Country Estate ★★★★
"It was a completly perfect staying. The view is fantastic and there are so much activities you can choose. The food was great, also the service"
Cinzaco Dullstroom ★★★★
"Our stay at Cinzaco Fugenzo was perfect! The house has everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Each of the three bedrooms has its own en-suite bathroom, and the showers are spacious and modern. The cozy living room with a fireplace and the indoor barbecue area made evenings extra special. The kitchen is fully equipped, making self-catering a breeze, and the DSTV provided great entertainment options. Families will love the outdoor play area, and we felt very secure with the private parking. It was fantastic to have a pet-friendly space, and we appreciated the accessible bedroom and bathroom for wheelchair users. Cinzaco Fugenzo is ideal for families or groups looking for a relaxing, welcoming place to stay. Highly recommend!"
Walkersons Hotel & Spa ★★★★★
"Found this place by chance via a Google search and decided it would suffice as an evening stopover en route to the Kruger. What a beautiful place! Loved every minute of being here. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The main hotel was cosy and comfortable with superb staff. Food was delicious with a great wine selection. A beautiful estate which peaceful and safe. Perfect for a romantic weekend or longer family holiday. "
Dunkeld East Hotel ★★★★
"We only went for dinner so cannot comment on the accommodation The view and restaurant is beautful Very tastefully decorated. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were very attentive friendly and efficient. Strangely though there’s no wine available in the restaurant When I asked the waitress she said we could have white or red house wine but had no idea from where it came. The red house wine was good though. The menu is small but caters for everyone and the food was very good and well presented. It arrived quickly and was exactly what we ordered We had to ask for serviettes and side plates but other than that I would certainly recommend this restaurant It’s in such a beautiful setting."
Elandskloof Trout Farm ★★
"Excellent venue for trout fishing. Been there twice. This time however a cold front took fish of the bite. The chalets are excellent equipped and very cosy once the fire is burning. The dams are on your front stoep and the staff extremely friendly. Please is well kept and well looked after. Wifi and TV is not up to scratch as signal is dropped non stop and it is an effort to watch anything or to use the internet."
Wayside Lodge ★★
"keep in mind this place is pretty cheap so have realistic expectations. the room was comfortable and spacious, but a bit 'tired', scruffy furnishings etc, but the bed and bedding was excellent, so we slept well. the heater workrd, the TV kind-of worked. Wifi in the bar only. The staff were friendly and helpful, dinner was limited but good quality. Overall it was convenient and good value "
Dunkeld Country & Equestrian Estate ★★★
"Lovely Estate as you drive in with a warm and inviting reception and restaurant area. BUT the accommodation is dated, not maintained at all (that includes the furniture). I actually went back to the website to check because I cannot recall that the website looked like the Holiday Club chalet that we stayed in. There were a few basics missing in the house as well. I was extremely disappointed. I also booked a facial at the spa. The therapist hardly communicated to me after I told her my skin concerns and she did not listen to my requests. Another disappointment - certainly not the professionalism that I expect from a spa. The whole stay not value for money."
Hoyohoyo Machadostud Lodge ★★★
Highland Rose Country House & Serenity Spa ★★★
Dullstroom, Dullstroom
"Lovely place to find yourself again after a hectic week. The peace and quiet is food for the sole. Just one request Dullstroom must just update their maps on google maps...there are so many roads showing that doesn't exist "
