HhzmyqYou need to park temporarily at the gate before arriving at the hotel, and then enter the underground garage to park after checking in. The surrounding area is very safe, with gas stations, ** uncle and other shops. The surrounding area is very deserted at night, which is a good place to stop and rest during self-driving. The room is fully equipped (of course, slippers, toothpaste and toothbrushes are not included, which are not available in almost all hotels in the United States). It is relatively quiet and I had a good sleep.

MM280980****This was my first time staying at a motel. The facilities were similar to those of budget hotels in China—clean and new. It had its own small yard, and parking was relatively safe. The only downside was that when I arrived at night, there was no one at the front desk; I had to press the disabled access bell to get someone to check me in. There's a commercial area across the street with supermarkets and restaurants, making dining convenient. The 17 Mile Golf Resort in town (which charges an entrance fee) has beautiful scenery and is well worth a visit.

11326182****The hotel has a beautiful garden, a large parking lot, and a very nice pool. We happened to check in during an event, and the room we got wasn't great, but the hotel apologized for it. It's a 10-minute drive to the whale watching spot. Hotel prices in Monterey aren't cheap, and we had a comfortable Chinese meal at the pier.

QqawsedrftgThe room itself is as pictured. It was a decent size and clean. There are similar inns nearby.
There's also a shopping center a 15-minute walk away.
However, the soundproofing isn't great, and our room was on the second floor, so I felt like there might be some noise between floors. I had to be careful walking around.
The breakfast was very basic, so don't expect too much.
Still, I had a great night. ^^

VVVIP0001The reservation was for a quiet room, and the hotel was very helpful. They reserved a room at the innermost part of the room for me. The room was spacious, had a fireplace, and was very convenient for travel.

EEric N.Great location! I had a conference at the Monterey Conference which is less than a 3 min walk! Only thing was that there was no AC, I’m so used to assuming that hotels always have AC, but it was my bad for not checking ahead of time. I asked for a roll out bed, and they were able to provide that, depending on availability at no extra cost. Had a good stay! Quite historical hotel.

AAnonymous UserThe room was spotless, as expected from Red Lion. A nice bonus was the complimentary coffee and bread, available for pickup in the lobby from 7 AM. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with a gas station right next door and a Whole Foods Market directly across the street!
