Beach Hotels in Athens

Definitely recommend this hotel. I've never written a review before. Welcoming from the moment you step into the hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and carry a warm smile. Restaurant staff go out of their way to meet your requirements. And they even allow you to store your luggage if your flight is later then your check out. Not only they allow you to all that, but go as far as allowing you to use the pool area..the swimming pool shower. One of the best experiences I've had staying in a hotel. Top. 💯

Staff are most helpful for taxi booking n showing areas around. Room with balcony is good for having a coffee n feel the atmosphere around. The only thing is the lift is very small so if your room is in higher floors, you’d better travel light. Location is the best in Plaka with lots of nice restaurants n cafes, also only 5 minutes from airport express bus station at Syntagma Square.

The hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful area although somewhat far from Athens, the Acropolis (40 minutes by bus and metro). The hotel looks renovated and very nice, the staff is super friendly and willing to help you with everything, they speak several languages ​​so surely a person at the reception speaks your language and it will be easier for you to understand them. The only drawback is that the avenue that runs right next to the hotel is very wide and at night you can hear the noise of motorcycles passing by at high speed. The insulation of the windows could be improved although we were able to rest perfectly.

Let me talk about the good place first: more cost-effective. Various facilities are relatively complete, such as beach loungers, rooftops, small swimming pools and so on. Hotel location is also very good. A small, large-scale commercial block is within walking distance of the hotel, where you can find hair salons, restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets, etc. Besides the bad place: the room is not big, especially the bathroom looks cramped. The sea view room is very beautiful, but you have to endure traffic noise.

Вид, конечно, шикарный, тут никаких вопросов. Очень красиво, вечером шумновато, но если закрыть окно, вполне можно спать. Остановка напротив, можно уехать центр и до метро. Из минусов шторы порванные , в туалете починить раковину. Очень дружелюбный персонал, наш самолет опоздал добрались поздно, нас встретили заселили. Комната не большая. Очень понравилось, спасибо.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Küstenstraße in Alimos, mit wunderschönem Blick auf das Meer. Zwar trennt eine viel befahrene Straße das Hotel vom Strand, doch die gute Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel machte es einfach, sowohl das Zentrum Athens und  die Nahe Umgebung zu erreichen.   Das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet, mit einem kleinen Balkon, von dem aus ich den Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer genießen konnte.  Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Check-in und Check-out verliefen reibungslos.  Das Frühstücksbuffet war abwechslungsreich. Das Tropical Hotel ist eine gute Wahl für Reisende, die eine Unterkunft in Meeresnähe mit guter Verkehrsanbindung  suchen.

This hotel is said to be five-star online, but the stars abroad are actually different from those in China, which is the standard of three stars in China. The picture of the swimming pool is seriously faked. In fact, it is a very small swimming pool on the first floor and you can't see the sea at all. It's a bit of false advertising. The hotel is next to the main road, the doors and windows are not soundproofed, and the noise is quite loud. We told the front desk to check out half an hour later, and they agreed. When checking out, they insisted on 150 euros, saying that they only talked about one room and the other room would be charged. Later, after repeated communication, they waived the payment. I don't know if the front desk didn't understand or did it on purpose. These hotels all have kettles,

Останавливаюсь не первый раз, очень нравится, единственный минус с чемонанами по лестнице нужно идти что бы подняться на ресепшен , и также выходя из отеля по ступенькам нужно нести чемоданы

Very classical atmosphere hotel, the decoration is log and green forest feeling, creating a quiet atmosphere. The background music is put on the music of Jiushi, and the distance is suddenly closer. They are all European and American residents. The downside is that some directions are facing the tram and there is a little noise. Overall quite satisfactory :)

More like a motel than a proper hotel. Location is excellent, directly next to the seaside (1 min walk). Very bad experience waiting for 2 hours to check in. Receptionists are not organized and not very welcoming at first, they like to take things slow, they will not help you. Basic room for enough for someone just wanting to sleep and take a shower, spending most of the time outside. No tissues will be provided even if you ask, only toilet paper.
