GGuest User800 meters straight from the Duke freshman dormitory, there are two big supermarkets, Wells Fargo Bank and a commercial street next to it. There are Da Zhaimen Hotpot and Japanese ramen restaurants owned by Chinese on the commercial street. For me who was visiting Duke children, this was the only hotel around Duke with a perfect location and surroundings. The Residence Inn at the other end of the freshman dormitory is best avoided because it is across from a funeral home.

DDANDANThe hotel room, bathroom and kitchen space are quite large, the desk and bathroom sink are also quite large, very easy to use! The kitchen pots and pans are all available, and there is a WHOLE FOODS nearby. It is also very convenient to cook for yourself. There is a lot of public space in the hotel lobby and the gym facilities are also very new. The staff is very welcoming and the overall feel is warm and comfortable.
