Aloft was a great hotel.
The staff is all amazing- great service. Great rooms. I think it a bit overpriced for the amenities but it is in a great location. The water in the bathroom
did not have a good smell - almost like a rusted smell. Another disappointment was the small area to buy drinks and snacks. The coffee maker was “out of service” and I could only purchase my snack items by billling to my room because the payment system was down. At approx 300$ a night I see these as basic services. Cannot stress enough how wonderful the hotel staff is. From front desk to housekeeping. Great people. Thank you

1. We could have saved $150 off of our one-night stay if someone had told us about a senior discount.
2. There was a hair on the cup next to the bathroom sink.
3. The seat cushion on the bench in the room was tattered and scraped (unsightly).
4. The bath mat is frayed and tattered (so shabby).

Upon arrival at the reception area, the clerk said “credit card and ID”. No hello, how are you, are you checking in? Etc…. I found that to be very rude. I asked her if she didn’t want my name, and she said she could get that from my ID and credit card. Hummmm.
The water pressure in our sink was VERY low, and upon entering the room, the area smelled like dirty feet or shoes. Not pleasant.
The bathroom was clean, but I would have preferred more bedding than the top sheet surrounding a very thin duvet.

I stayed at Aloft over a long weekend to see a show at DPAC. Initially I had chosen the hotel due to its proximity to the theater, but was pleasantly surprised by how updated the hotel was and how nice my room was! My room was clean and quiet, parking was easy (although plan to check in on time if it's the day of a performance!) No complaints.

Not only do you pay for parking but they do not tell you that you may not be able to get in or out at times due to performing arts center events. Frequent train passing noise, as early as 6:15am. Room has an echo effect in it because lack of sound absorbing material and furniture.

The property was in a cool area and the bar and pool table were enjoyable. Staff was nice and helpful. Not much on amenities and charged for parking at such a high price for a room. The bathroom tile and walls needed updating and the rooms were far from luxurious. Bedding and mattress could have been better for the price. Overall, a decent hotel but expected a little more.

Great location and amazing staff, comfortable room, spacious, like having coffee/tea in room and the available snacks. Only issue was AC a little loud when came on but overall have enjoyed every Aloft stay.

People - front desk, house keeping, bar tender, cook -- all great. Needs an update and refresh. Huge room, but too little sitting opportunities in room. Only wall plugs for charging; no USB ports. Bathroom needs places to hang towel near sink and shower door. Shower needs a shelf and/or bench. Floor of shower was VERY slick -- big safety issue.
