"An extraordinary building ; one of the most architecturally impressive hotels in which I can remember staying, with wonderfully helpful staff and a location that can not be bettered -- with a commendable breakfast. Five stars ! But then . . .
Beautifully configured and equipped rooms but, constraints on urban buildings being what they are, and the architects having elected a stunning central skylit air- and light-well, our room, at least, had no window. Where was one to be placed, after all ? The air-conditioning worked well, but truly fresh air was not available.
The housekeeping staff had neglected the bathroom attached to the room that we used. Hair, a cotton-tipped applicator stick, and -- simply -- dirt were on the tiles. This can happen. It was very different from the rest of the experience of the stay. But there it was.
Have a look around when you check in. Ask for a repeat cleaning of your room if you think one is necessary. Enjoy your stay."

Amazing
Beautifully restored heritage building in the center of old Riga. The classic feature of the original architecture have been preserved and complimented with a modern interior design with clean Nordic style. Rooms have a foldout sofa bed, great for families. Breakfast is simple but high quality ingredients and attentive staff. Recommend the fresh croissants and salmon and raspberry smoothies. Location in center of old town on a charming street just close enough to great restaurants and bars but quiet enough to get a good sleep.

This hostel is amazing and among the best so far along my travel, the staff show you every corner of the property, patiently brief you place to visit, local coffee, ice cream, museums etc on map… they also have activities that you can join! Highly recommended!

Very clean and modern bathroom, good variety of amenities provided without needing to ask, overall comfortable stay. Unlucky with room allocation as we got an internal joinable room, where next door was talking loudly until late at night. Location suitability will vary per group, it is slightly out of the main centre, but not too far you can't walk. Plan ahead if you drive, they provide a carpark for additional cost, or you can park on the street outside of normal hours

I stayed in this hotel during 3 or 4 my visits to Riga. Everything is great and price is always very affordable. Good location, you are close to everything. Great gym I really have one issue - swimming pool and spa will be free only if you book superior room or higher level. It will be better to mention this before booking but not during checking the spa

The location of this hotel is perfect; it’s just a 10-minute walk from both the central bus and train stations, and less than 15 minutes to the main tourist spots. I particularly liked that the closest malls are only 2 minutes away, with numerous restaurants nearby. The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent, and the staff are nice and polite. I was also pleasantly surprised by the well-designed sauna and the 24-hour gym. However, we encountered an issue with the door lock to our room, which failed to open with our room cards. We reported this to the staff, who promised to fix it that day, but unfortunately, the lock remained broken until our checkout. As a result, we had to call security every time we returned to our room, which was quite annoying and prevented us from fully enjoying the hotel facilities since someone had to stay inside the room.

The hotel is right in the heart of Riga Old Town. Just 2 minutes walk to the Christmas Market. I like the old furnishings. It gives the place character & provides an insight to the past. Afterall, it's not every day you come across a hotel with somewhat a gatsby feel like this & you feel like you're travelling back in time😁. There is free flow of filtered water outside your room, which is convenient & nice. Staff are friendly and helpful.
